Cinderella, throw yourself against the wall!
Yes, here comes a product that beats the beauty sleep of Disney princesses, and everything else they might have up their sleeves with horse lengths! Make room for the princess of beauty products π€π Got a tip about this from my best Linda in my beautyscan, and I am very grateful for it! It promises a lot, but holds more, I dare say! I've been using this for a few weeks now and will never want to be without it! It feels soft as velvet when I apply it. It doesn't smell special. I'm a sucker for skincare products that smell good, but I can forgive it because it's so good π I've had a tendency to acne before and sometimes get a few new pimples. But this seems to have scared them away permanently with scare tactics Γ la Guantanamo π My skin feels soft afterwards and I feel like I've gotten such a nice glow, a little less visible pores. Even the fine lines have been smoothed out a bit! π€π€ My scars from acne have also become less visible. I use other products that have surely helped too, but a lot has improved in a short time since I added this to my skincare routine. I can't praise this enough! π My skin is combination skin with a tendency to oily skin in the T-zone and dry on the cheeks and around the nose. I have fine lines on my forehead, around my eyes, and at my mouth. Nothing I want to get rid of, but I don't mind if they are less visible π I've had acne but have almost gotten rid of it thanks to isotretinoin. I have larger pores on my forehead, on and around my nose, and on my chin. They have become less visible with the right products. But we are still not at the goal! πΈπ½ Less visible pores πΈπ½ Less visible scars πΈπ½ Reduced fine lines πΈπ½ No new pimples πΈπ½ Soft and glowing skin I can't find anything negative, except for my picky nose that would like a little fragrant. But I get that from the products I use afterwards, so I shouldn't complain π The first four are from about a month ago before I added this to my skincare routine. The last three are from yesterday, after skincare routine but before any makeup. - Most helpful negative3 monthsRating: 2 out of 5verified customer
Mixed results
I was super excited to try this "fancier" niacinamide after using The Ordinary's niacinamide for several years. This gave a really nice glow, but unfortunately, I got small pimples all over my face. My skin is quite sensitive, so I'm surprised.1 product in post Mixed results2864 views- 2 monthsIt contains a lot of glycerin, which means it is a niacinamide product that can particularly meet the needs for moisture and moisture retention of dry and dry/mature skin more than what normal niacinamide products do. So I understand if Niactil doesn't suit all skin types. Or one might need to reduce moisture and moisture-retaining products in their routine if they have a skin type that is more normal or produces moisture and oil satisfactorily on its own. Because then this could be too much. But since the market is flooded with niacinamide products that target more people with oily skin and acne-prone skin, this is a welcome and important product since niacinamide is such a versatile ingredient that is also welcomed by those with dry or dry and sensitive skin (e.g. rosacea-prone skin). Many with dry, dry/mature, and dry and sensitive skin often have difficulty finding niacinamide products that contain an appropriate amount of niacinamide, but that can also compensate for the fact that niacinamide's balancing function can sometimes contribute to increased dryness. The brand did change its Niactil and reduced its strongly moisturizing function, which made it completely worthless for those like me who have built my routine around Niactil since the product was originally launched. Because it was significantly less emollient and moisturizing. Maybe it can be an alternative for those who feel that Niactil gives too much?1 likes

Use with shiseido
Hi. How does this fit to use before the shiseido VITAL PERFECTION OVERNIGHT FIRMING TREATMENT regarding the active ingredients in the two?992 views- Skin therapist at Lyko2 weeksHeihei π It is completely possible and usually safe to use Elixir Cosmeceuticals Niactil 4β―% together with Shiseido Vital Perfection Overnight Firming Treatment, but there are some considerations to take: -If your skin is sensitive, you can start with only every other night with Niactil 4β―% for a couple of weeks to let the barrier get used to the exfoliant. -Overlapping allergens or fragrances are present in the Shiseido cream (including lavender, citrus notes, and phenoxyethanol), be aware if you have known reactions. -If you have rosacea or very sensitive skin, proceed gradually with the salicylic acid and monitor for reactivity in the early phase. Tips for use: -Cleanse the skin and possibly use any treatments (e.g., retinoids or vitamin C) earlier in the routine. -Apply Niactil 4β―% first as a light serum: niacinamide + salicylic acid contribute to a more even tone and clearer skin. -Let it absorb for a few minutes. -Finish with Shiseido Overnight Firming Treatment β this thick layer locks in moisture and active ingredients and completes the night routine. πͺBe careful with gradual introduction to avoid irritation β but in principle, they work well together, and the Shiseido cream is made to be sealed together with Niactil's active ingredients. Wishing you a nice day ahead ππ

Wrong ingredient list?
Hi, does it contain Squalene or Squalane since other websites say Squalane. The two ingredients are different. Could you please check this? Miracle Cream
This has been a game changer for my skin!! I have perioral dermatitis and acne-prone skin that is very sensitive in addition to a bit of oily skin. I discovered that niacinamide could be the thing for my skin type, but that one should test with a lower concentration than, for example, The Ordinary's serum, and then this cream came up as an alternative. I have always had bumpy and uneven skin, especially on my forehead. This has smoothed out the bumpy skin on my forehead, reduced redness, minimized pores, and evened out my skin. I have tested so many creams, serums, etc. over the years, and nothing comes close to beating this. It is praised to the skies, and for good reason! 5 stars!!885 viewsto leave a comment - 1 month
Rosacea
Hi, I struggle with rosacea and rosacea pimples/bumps. I also have dry skin. Will this work for me? What other products should I use alongside it? I'm looking for a day cream and cleanser as well.1104 views- Skin therapist at Lyko1 monthHi Feyza π Rosacea can be alleviated by using the right products, and by avoiding what can trigger outbreaks π This product can definitely be used, but the product itself alone will not be able to reduce redness in rosacea skin. Here I would absolutely recommend adding a few extra products from Face formula that complement your skin type and condition π βοΈMorning 1. Face Foam Cleanser 2. Redness Control serum 3. Niactil 4% πEvening 1. Face Foam Cleanser 2. SOS Paste in a thin layer, locally on the outbreak. Use it frequently during active outbreaks (preferably every night), and when the outbreak is reduced, we recommend continuing to use the product 2-3 times a week to maintain. -It is common for the skin to become dry when the product is used frequently, as sulfur is very drying. If she becomes so dry that it feels uncomfortable, she can reduce to every other night, but it is very important that she uses it in a very thin layer. Let the product absorb a bit before the next step. 3. Niactil 4% Wishing you a fantastic day ahead π1 likes

Something to avoid combining with?
In my routines, I have these products: Hyggee natural repair serum, Niche Beauty Lab Copper Peptide Anti-Aging 3%, Geek & Gorgeous A-game retinal 0.1%. Is there any of these products that doesn't work well with Niactil?1 product in post Something to avoid combining with? - 2 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Can never go without!
I have perioral dermatitis and my skin loves this. It calms the skin, it provides a lot of moisture without making my skin oily, and I believe it slows down signs of aging. #lykoreview1908 viewsto leave a comment - 2 months
What will happen to Niactil when the company re-brands?
To my great joy, Niactil has been allowed to come back, and I was so happy!! Thank you Elixir/Face formula for listening to your customers' pleas and instead allowing both the old and the new variant to be available. (I have written about this before, i.e. how Niactil is basically the only niacinamide product on the market that has also been created with people with dry, dry/mature, and dry/sensitive skin in mind and is therefore, besides being a niacinamide product, also a glycerin bomb. Which is absolutely fantastic. I have been using it since Elixir came to market. And I always have a stock of it at home and use it daily morning and night). MY QUESTION is about: What will happen now with Niactil when Elixir becomes Face formula? I note that among the new products, there is now a third Niacinamide product that seems to be a variant more targeted at oily/acne-prone skin with 6% niacinamide and succinic acid. Which is a combination that can certainly suit oilier and greasier skin types with acne issues. But which will be detrimental for dry, mature sensitive skin. Does this mean that the company will once again remove the old Niactil or remake it? Does the new version replace both Niactil and Face formula? Or will Niactil remain in its original and perfect form? (Please please, say that Niactil will be allowed to stay? It is the only truly well-functioning niacinamide product on the market for all of us who have dry skin). Grateful for feedback from the Elixir/Face formula team, so one knows if one needs to try to hoard Niactil while it is still available...1601 viewsto leave a comment - 2 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Wow feeling right away
The product arrived at my home today, so I obviously had to test it right away, and I immediately got a wow feeling after the first application. I don't know yet how it will help my skin. We'll see. Eagerly waiting for the results.πβ¨1 product in post Wow feeling right away2007 viewsto leave a comment - 3 months
Exfoliating?
Hi. Is this like an acid that makes the skin sensitive to the sun, and should one take a break during the summer?1876 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey Linda! Cool that you checked out this popular gem π If you want to use this in your morning routine, SPF might be a good idea since it contains Salicylic Acid. Using at least SPF30 could be a good rule of thumb! Hope you like it π1 likes
