    Nourishing and calming luxurious oil!

    💖 I got this oil from #KORAORGANICS for free as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. My skin is dry, sensitive, and acne-prone, and usually doesn't tolerate pure facial oils. Unfortunately, Kora's face oil was no exception. I patch tested on my safest area, but got clogged pores overnight. That really says nothing about the product: One must understand that "non-comedogenic" ingredients do not exist in the sense of "acne-triggering", as even products that physically cannot clog pores can still trigger irritation or act as occlusives. But because of this, I haven't been able to test the oil on my face. Instead, I've used it on my neck and décolleté, and there it has worked really well. I have a chronic tendency to eczema under my chin, and the oil has been very nourishing and moisturizing there. I find that most calming products only cause more irritation on eczema, so I am very pleased with how nurturing this oil feels. Otherwise, it doesn't feel at all on the skin after a few minutes and gives a nice glow without looking greasy. If you, like me, like a slightly more natural healthy glow, it's perfect to apply a couple of drops on the collarbones just before going out in the evening. The oil comes in a heavier glass bottle with a dropper, smells just right and fresh of rosehip, and gives a luxurious overall impression. Very economical, a couple of drops are enough for neck + collarbones. Plus for being organic and vegan 🌱 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Ideally, I would have given this 3.5 stars, as 3 feels too low and 4 feels a bit high since I couldn't use it on my face. But I raise it a notch because of how nurturing it is on my eczema, and I really like that all the anti-inflammatory and nourishing plant extracts seem to do their thing in this formula. I don't keep track of which oils are considered "dry" and which are not, but I don't feel that this feels heavy at all, so I believe it can suit different skin types and also balance an oilier skin type.

    Unfortunately...

    As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test this nourishing facial oil from #koraorganics along with two other products from KORA Organics. The facial oil is supposed to be rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, and it should also absorb quickly into the skin. I have dry, sensitive skin with fine lines and the beginning of wrinkles, so I look forward to seeing what results I can get with these products. I have now used this facial oil along with the two other products for about 1 month, and my experience is this... The facial oil is lightweight in consistency and should be warmed up in the palms before applying to the face. The scent is quite weak, which is an advantage since I’m not particularly fond of it. For me, the oil sits on the skin like a surface layer, and it takes a good while before it sinks into the skin. I really don’t like this oil as I have gotten so many breakouts on my face, and I have really tried to like it. I have continued to use the oil for a month, but since the breakouts keep coming, I will now stop using the oil. 1 out of 5 ❤️

    Beautiful oil for glow

    I got to try this oil from #koraorganics as a #lykoinflutester. Kora organics is a luxurious, organic brand from Australia started by Miranda Kerr when she realized how many harmful substances the skin absorbs through our skincare products. My skin is dry and mature, and this facial oil gives a lovely glow. The oil comes in a nice glass bottle with a dropper and is easy to dose. I find the oil to be very dry, and you need to take quite a bit to be able to spread it on the skin without having to "pull" at the skin. Therefore, I have mixed it with my moisturizer, and then 2-3 drops are enough. This gives it perfect hydration. A perfect complement to a moisturizer that isn’t very hydrating. However, I have used lyko.com/sv/kora-organics/kora-organics-plant-stem-cell-retinol-alternative-moisturizer-50-ml, and it is so incredibly good for my skin that I feel the oil becomes unnecessary. But it is definitely a nice and good oil for those who feel they need an extra moisture boost.
