Luxurious with expensive
I have as #lykoinflutester tested the Advanced Night Repair Serum from #esteelauder ✨ Right after application, the skin gets a really nice glow and looks fresh! The consistency is light and runny, absorbs quickly, and leaves the skin soft and properly hydrated. The scent is also really lovely, a bit citrusy but in a sophisticated way, nothing that overpowers. The bottle is heavy, luxurious, and feels premium. It looks really nice in the bathroom and would make a really luxurious gift. I really like how the skin looks afterwards, hydrated, soft, and with a nice glow. The only thing that brings down the overall experience is the price… I’m a bit unsure if I would have bought it at full price myself, even though the product is super good. Luxurious serum that unfortunately didn't suit my skin type
I got to test the Advanced Night Repair Serum as a Lyko Influtester. ✨ I am 30 years old and have sensitive, super dry, and thin skin. Unfortunately, I could only use the serum twice, so I can't comment on long-term results. The serum is fragrance-free as far as I can see, but I still experienced a distinct scent 🌿, probably from the plant extracts in the formula. Upon application, the serum felt initially moisturizing, but I simultaneously experienced stinging and irritation and small bumps on my face, so I didn't dare to continue using it. I suspect it might be the hyaluronic acid or some of the extracts that my skin couldn't tolerate, as I've had similar reactions before. Additionally, I've been struggling with a damaged skin barrier for a long time now. The product is also quite expensive, so I really hoped it would work better for me. A great product
I was so excited to test this serum, which is SO popular and much talked about in the skincare world. First of all, I want to say that it is a good product with a lovely consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin, and I feel that my face is moisturized and gets softening care. When I apply it in the evening, I wake up feeling a bit fresher, and I experience my skin as more «awake». I haven't tested it during the day, but I believe it would be nice to use during the day now in winter. Advanced Night Repair Serum
I have been so lucky to test Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Serum. The first impression of the packaging wasn't necessarily impressive, but the bottle definitely screamed "luxury". The heavy glass bottle gives an exclusive feel, and I love that it's made of glass - because that makes it more environmentally friendly. The pipette also has a great shape, with an angled tip that makes it easier to be more precise. The consistency is exactly what I expect from a serum, but with a bit more fullness that makes it feel more nourishing than the completely "watery" variants. It has a fresh scent, but I can't see any perfume on the ingredient list. The scent disappears quickly and doesn't linger. The serum absorbs nicely and doesn't leave any stickiness - which makes it the ultimate partner with other products and makeup prep. I have combination skin: a bit oily here, a bit dry there, and generally quite "mood-based". The results I've noticed the most are hydration, my skin feels smoother, hydrated, and generally more balanced - especially in the dry areas that usually scream for help. There is no dramatic transformation, but a nice, stable upgrade of the skin's overall condition. For me, skincare is about more than just glow – the face is most exposed to stress and free radicals every day. Damage can be difficult to reverse, so I like to take care of my skin now while I can. Good products are therefore not just a luxury, but a long-term investment. Deep Moisture
This serum gives the skin a proper dose of moisture that fits perfectly through a long autumn and winter. The product both looks and smells luxurious, and it gives the skin a really nice glow. I have tested the product both day and night, and I think it sits nicely under makeup🙏🏼 With a slightly oily T-zone, it can feel a bit heavy, but all in all, an incredibly good product that works deep in the skin! Right serum for dry winter skin
I have been using the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum for a while now, and for my dry skin, it has made a noticeable difference. The consistency is light and absorbs quickly without becoming sticky – perfect under night cream or even under makeup during the day. What I like best is that my skin feels more hydrated and soft when I wake up. Dryness lines appear less prominent, and my skin has a smoother and more “plump” feel. It gives a nice, natural glow without feeling greasy. The packaging and feel of the product are very luxurious, and it reflects the price. Amazing Serum ✨
I have been using this serum every day for a couple of weeks now, always in the evening and as needed in the morning! It has truly been a lifesaver for my skin now that the weather has gotten colder! ❄️ I have combination skin and get occasional breakouts around my period, and this serum has helped keep my skin more balanced, hydrated, and calm throughout the entire period. Already after a few uses, my skin felt softer and more hydrated, and I have noticed that my skin doesn't get as easily tight or patchy dry (around the eyes) in the cold anymore. ☺️ The serum is very liquid and absorbs quickly, feels light on the skin, and works well under my night/day cream. Delicious and hydrating
This serum from Estée Lauder gives a really delicious, almost velvety feeling on the skin 💕 It applies softly without becoming sticky, and provides just the right amount of moisture. I find it very easy to spread, and the skin absorbs it quickly without any hassle. The packaging is also super nice and feels a bit luxurious to have on display. ✨ The downside is definitely the price, it is very high, and therefore the product falls more into the category of “nice to have”, not something you really need in your routine. If you are extra sensitive, you might also risk having a small reaction, even though the serum is generally quite gentle. I have tested this exclusive serum for about three weeks. The serum doesn't smell much, and the little it does smell quickly fades away. The product has a smooth consistency and absorbs quickly into the skin. I have used about half a pipette per use. The product has been used morning and night before moisturizer. I have tested it for about three weeks, and I am very positively surprised! My skin feels smoother, more even, and less red. My skin is dry, sensitive, and has some hormonal breakouts. When I started using this serum, I had a few small pimples on and off, and they had been around for a while. Just after a few days of using this serum, they were already on their way to disappearing. Absolutely fantastic! They might have disappeared anyway, but I feel like it was this serum that helped. And, most importantly: No new small pimples have appeared! It is a steep price for this serum, but I think it might be worth it given the effect I have experienced in a relatively short time. Allergic Reaction
As #lykoinflutester, I received the Advanced Night Repair serum from #esteelauder ✨ I used the serum every night for about 1 week. I got small pimples/rashes that couldn't be squeezed. I didn't understand at first what it was due to, but then I stopped using the serum for a couple of days, and the spots disappeared. Unfortunately, my skin reacted to something in the serum. I will have to give it to my mom, who has used the serum for several years and loves it! 💖 Remember to test the product on your hand or on a small area of your face if you're unsure about allergies/have sensitive skin. Despite the skin's reaction, there are some positive things. I really like the consistency, how nicely the serum glides on the skin, and how quickly the skin absorbs it. 😍 I'm also a big fan of the packaging with the dropper. For little bang for the buck
I have tested this serum for a few weeks, and I want to start by being honest and say that I find it very difficult to make a fair review of skincare products. This is because there are so many other things that affect the condition of the skin, such as diet, sleep, hormones, stress, and weather changes, for example. What I can say something about, however, is of course the formula and the packaging! I really like that it comes with a pipette that is also angled at the bottom, which makes it very easy to apply and adjust the amount without having to contaminate the jar/bottle or the pipette with your hands and risk adding bacteria. You don’t need much product, just three very small drops (one on the forehead and one on each cheek) have been more than enough, I think. The formula is a bit thicker and more viscous than, for example, a toner or watery serum. It is also not completely clear but more cloudy. I find it a bit confusing and misleading that it says "night repair" on the bottle, as it states both "am" and "pm" on the back and in the description that you can/should use it both morning and night. About the same time I started using this serum, I had an outbreak of pimples on my forehead and big problems with very oily and greasy skin. However, I have no idea if it’s due to the serum or something else, considering what I described above. I usually get more pimples once a month (probably hormonal, of course), but it has been a long time since it was this bad. I continued to use the product, but not as often, and after a few days up to a week, it calmed down. I don’t know if the product maybe needed an adjustment period and that there was some kind of detox, or if it simply just depended on something else. Normally, I have combination skin and tend to get a bit oily in the T-zone. Sometimes I wake up with a very oily forehead after applying the serum in the evening, and sometimes I wake up with balanced skin and a nice glow. Maybe it has to do with how much I apply? Worth mentioning is perhaps that I have another product from Estee Lauder that also makes me very oily on the forehead. The serum absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel sticky. I use it after a hydrating toner and before my face cream. It smells quite a bit, but not necessarily bad. The scent reminds me of a C-vitamin serum I used before that had about the same consistency, but nothing is mentioned here about C-vitamin as far as I can understand, so it’s unclear what it is that smells. As for results? Yes, I actually don’t dare to say much about it in reference to what I started with and considering that I have only tested it for a few weeks. I see tendencies for a more even skin tone and more glow, but at the same time, the skin remains quite unbalanced with a pimple popping up here and there despite being in my 25s. What is clear, however, is that I don’t see such a magical difference that I would pay 1450kr to buy it again, but I will absolutely continue to use it until it’s finished!
