    Stable C-Vitamin?

    Hi, My skin therapist advised me to look for C-vitamin products with stabilized C-vitamin. Does this one have it? If not, do you have tips for another affordable C-vitamin product with stabilized C-vitamin that can be used in the morning? Thanks!

    Review

    I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about the Garnier Vitamin C Serum at first, but I was actually really positively surprised. The best part is that it sinks into the skin so easily in no time without feeling sticky, which is a big plus for me. And that light citrus scent? Perfect for waking up in the morning! After about 6-7 days, I started to see a difference. My skin looked fresher and more even. My dark spots started to slowly become more correct, and I got a really nice, natural glow. It works great under makeup too, and I haven't gotten any pimples or become irritated. Considering how cheap it is, it feels like a really good buy. I will definitely continue to use it.     Leaves more to be desired

    The packaging really gives the impression of a fresh, moisturizing, and invigorating product – something that smells fresh and gives the skin a nice glow. Unfortunately, the content didn't quite live up to that feeling for me. The scent is more chemical than fresh, and the serum itself doesn't feel as moisturizing or 'glow-boosting' as I had expected. It dries in very quickly, which can be practical in itself, but on my skin, it didn't provide any immediate softness or hydration afterwards. I used the serum after exfoliating with the same series, and in combination, I found that it could sting a bit on the skin. This made me more cautious about using them together. Unfortunately, I saw no noticeable difference in skin tone, radiance, or clarity during the time I tested it, so the effect was quite neutral for me. + Nice and fresh packaging + Absorbs very quickly – The scent feels chemical and less fresh than expected – Doesn't feel moisturizing or glow-boosting – Stings in combination with the exfoliation – No clear positive effect on the skin The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free.

    Salicylic Acid

    Hey! I see that this product contains salicylic acid, which is exfoliating. I use cosrx BHA Blackhead power liquid about 2 times/week. How does this serum work together with that since salicylic acid is also exfoliating?

      Hey Emma, Good that you are aware of the ingredients! 💫 Since both Garnier Vitamin C Glow Boost Serum and COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid contain salicylic acid (BHA), it can lead to a lot of exfoliation if you use both often. I recommend using the COSRX product 2 times a week as you do and alternating with the Garnier serum on other days. This way, you avoid over-exfoliating your skin, which can cause irritation. Always listen to your skin and adjust usage if you notice redness or discomfort. Wishing you a lovely day 🌺
