The Confident Woman's Scent
My normal scent preferences: Sweet, not too floral scents. The scent should be strong, one spray can be enough. Vanilla notes are my favorites! Upon first sniff, Valentino's Purple Melancholia Donna scent was a bit masculine and too strong for me. But after applying the scent several times, I've started to like it. The scent lasts long on the skin, and the sweet, plummy, and vanilla vibe comes out well after a few hours. I still wouldn't say this scent is too sweet! The scent is dark and not light, so it suits a confident woman. I will definitely wear this scent at parties and in the fall, but summery this is not for me. I believe this scent will find its user group, but it doesn't suit everyone. Even though it's Valentino's lovely Donna line, it's not the same as Born In Roma Donna, which has been my favorite scent for a long time! Very heavy and mature fragrance
ππΌββοΈAbout my personal perfume preferences I like fragrances that feel light and fresh, for example, nutty, citrusy, fruity and sweet perfumes. π¦ The bottle The bottle looks stylish and luxurious with some kind of "studs" on it. The deep purple color of the perfume makes it look special. The bottle is also quite heavy and sturdy, which gives it a premium feeling. Another detail I really like is that the glass is transparent enough to see how much perfume is left inside. π The smell The scent was quite heavy and intense, and for me it leans toward a more mature style of perfume. The vanilla base note of the perfume was actually very pleasant and that part of the fragrance I enjoyed the most. However, the overall composition felt a bit overwhelming and extremely heavy on my skin. Instead of feeling light and fresh, I felt that the scent just got more rich, heavy and dense as time went by, which may be great for people who enjoy bold evening fragrances. But for me, it felt slightly too heavy and not as easy to wear. π€ My opinion This perfume comes in a beautiful bottle and with a warm vanilla base that many people might like. For those who love strong floral perfumes with bold notes, it could be a great choice. smells like a man
I got a sample of this when I bought other things from here. This perfume has a fruity and chypre character with plum at the top and a vanilla base that can give a slightly unisex impression at first π₯° When it sits on the skin for 20β30 minutes, the scent softens and the vanilla tones come out more. Good and Confident Perfume!
The packaging of the perfume is very elegant and feels very luxurious! Additionally, it has a good grip around it, which I appreciate ππΌ When I first tried it, I got the impression that this perfume seems quite mature and that it might suit those who are a bit older, rather than me at 20 years old. But as it settled, I liked it more and more! And it has also grown on me over time, becoming a new go-to perfume! It is deep, but not heavy. It is also fruity, and when it settles, the lovely vanilla comes through. I would also describe it as comfortable, warm, and confident. I would also say that it has a freshness to it, while also having a lovely and spicy plum! The areas of use for this are many. I feel this perfume works just as well during the day as in the evening, as well as for various special occasions! Good and long-lasting
At first, I was quite skeptical due to the vanilla scent, but I've received compliments on this and it has really grown on me! πππΌ It's sweet but not sickening, maybe not an everyday scent, but definitely good! No new favorite
I got a sample of this with my latest order. I love perfume samples, so I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't familiar with this one. I've looked at the other Roma scents, but haven't smelled them yet. This perfume is quite strong/powerful, but not heavy, at first. It smells quite sharp of plums and a bit towards jasmine. It takes a little time before it settles and the vanilla comes through. The scent lasts a long time. This one didn't become a new favorite for me, I think it's too strong in the top note. But after a long while, notes of a soft vanilla come through, and that part smells incredibly good. I personally prefer scents like Prada Paradox, Flowerbomb, The scent for her, and similar. But this one surely has its target audience, but I don't belong to that. #lykoreview650 views
