I'll start by saying this: I'm really not a vanilla person when it comes to perfume. On the contrary, I usually find vanilla scents very difficult, as they can easily become too sweet, heavy, and almost a bit overwhelming for me. So I didn't exactly expect Vanilla Suede to be a scent I would fall for. But it surprised me. Vanilla is definitely present here, but it is accompanied by bergamot and sandalwood, which makes the scent feel softer and more balanced than the classic, very sweet vanilla scent I usually associate with this type of perfume. What I especially like is that it doesn't feel too strong. On me, I experience it as soft and pleasant, with a warm vanilla tone rather than a heavy vanilla bomb. There's simply more to the scent than just sweetness – and I think that's exactly why it works for me. I got it in the By Lyko Lovables – The LeyGlow Kit, and of all the scents, it's quite ironic that a vanilla perfume made me rethink 🤍 A vanilla scent for someone who actually doesn't like vanilla scent. That probably says it all. Lovely scent, but wish for better longevity 🤎
A lovely perfume with a nice vanilla scent that I really like. Completely surprised!
Got this in a Lyko Lovebles and have to admit it was one of the things I was least excited about in the box. I expected it to be more on the sweet and sticky side, but it’s rather soft and almost smells a bit clean. I almost fell a little in love with it! Wonderful scent 💋
I think this perfume smells incredibly good! Vanilla perfumes are usually not my first choice, but here I can hardly smell any vanilla at all. It smells sweet (but not too sweet) and feminine. A powdery scent that is quite mild. At first spray, it reminds me of some kind of "aunt perfume," but once it has settled on the skin, it smells really good. I am also happy with the bottle. Got it in one of the lykolovables and have to say it’s a very pleasant scent. Very sophisticated, mature, and skin-close scent that also has a long-lasting fragrance. Perfect for everyday use. It’s neither too strong nor too sweet. For those who find vanilla perfumes easily cloying, this is a perfume for you as bergamot and sandalwood balance out the vanilla and give it a very pleasant and cozy scent. Truly a mature vanilla scent. I’d say it’s a very easy-to-like perfume that suits many. Mild scent
I bought this a bit blindly, after reading and hearing about it. But I was a little disappointed. It’s a soft and mild scent, nothing that stings the nose here. A bit old-fashioned in scent right after application, then the scent becomes softer and milder. I was looking for the vanilla notes in this, but I can hardly smell them unfortunately. A perfume for those who don’t want to smell too much or want to combine with another scent. Unfortunately, it didn’t become a new favorite for me. #lykoreview2985 views
