There are significantly better alternatives
It's rare that I test products I don't like at all. This is one of those. First and foremost, it's the spray mechanism that bothers me. I have to use two hands to press it in. That makes it terribly difficult to hit where you want, if at all. I assume the bottles are cheaply bought in bulk from an external company. My hair is typically Nordic. Thin strands, but there are terribly many of them. The spray makes my hair greasy and unpleasant. I don't like the scent. It reminds me of mosquito spray. And the spray has no good, if any, UV protection. And I find that terribly unpleasant. You don't protect your hair or scalp very well from the sun. So don't use this in strong sun thinking you have enough protection. It protects against pollution, and that's good. But that does not justify the price in any way, which is also very high considering what you get. I see no reason to buy this product again. Good, but not the best.
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test two products from Watercloud, and here are my thoughts on the light texture spray. I have pretty thin and smooth hair. No volume or hold on its own. This spray has the typical Watercloud scent. It might be too strong for those sensitive to scents, but I appreciate the slightly sweet and floral fragrance. I think it feels fresh. However, I would say the scent disappears quite quickly. This spray definitely gives my hair hold, but I think it works best when I want to put my hair up. The hair stays in place and can be "messed up" to look a bit beautifully messy. I would say it’s more like a light hairspray, but without the "crunch". A little minus for my lengths feeling a bit dry the day after use, and I wake up with a more tousled hair (in an unflattering way, i.e. 😅) For the price, I think it’s totally okay, especially since I find it relatively economical. Nice Volume
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test two products from Watercloud, and here are my thoughts on Rooth lift. I have pretty flat, thin, and dull hair that doesn’t deliver any volume on its own. I always need some type of volume product and a proper round with the blow dryer when my hair is freshly washed, so I was super excited about this one. I like the classic Watercloud scent, but it can be too heavy for those who are sensitive to fragrances. I’m used to using this type of volume product and really like that it focuses on lifting the roots. I section my hair and spray where I want volume, then massage it in. After that, it’s just blow-drying, starting from the top and bottom - then I use a round brush. I definitely think this spray mousse does the job. I get nice volume and even a feeling of thicker hair without too much product feel. One small downside for me is that it doesn’t hold the volume until the next day. Then my hair is flat again, unfortunately. Doesn’t quite reach five stars, but a four is definitely worth it 🙏 #watercloud1 product in post Nice Volume6387 views
