A cream for those who like a little glow

Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 I have been testing this product for almost a month now. As a reference, I have a dry skin type. This is a day cream with SPF 50. SPF is a bonus but does not replace the use of sun protection. The cream comes in a pump bottle, which I find convenient as it reduces mess and simplifies dispensing. The cream has a pleasant scent but a slight scent of sun protection. It’s not overwhelming, but you can still feel that scent is there. The cream itself blends easily into the skin and moisturizes well. The finish is on the glossier side but less noticeable when fully absorbed. It might be a bit too rich for oilier skin types. The price is higher, and honestly, there are many good creams in lower price ranges that are just as effective. That said, it’s a good cream if the price isn’t a concern. + pump bottle + with SPF 50 + moisturizing + glowy finish - slight sun protection scent - too rich for some skin types - the price #lykoinflutester #dermalogica

Day Cream with SPF and Anti-Age

I have been lucky to be a test pilot for some luxurious products from Dermalogica. Here is my review after a few weeks of using Dynamic Skin - Recovery SPF50 50 ml. 🤍 Before I read about the product, it seemed like a great day cream with SPF and its anti-age properties. I have a bit of trouble with sunscreens that are too greasy since I have acne-prone skin, so my T-zone gets oily easily. This is a skin cream with SPF, so it’s not something I would use all day in the sun as I burn easily and it needs to be reapplied often and in larger amounts, but definitely for everyday use. ☀️ The skin gets a nice glow, no whitecast but the formula is a bit too greasy for me. I have used it under makeup and it worked well. 🤍 anti-age properties 🤍 day cream with SPF 🤍 works under makeup ➖ a bit too greasy for my acne-prone skin ➖ the price #lykotestpilot #dermalogica

    ☀️✨ Glass skin in a bottle! ✨☀️

I have tested Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 throughout the test period, and it has quickly become one of my favorite products in my morning routine! 🥰 The first thing I noticed was how light and pleasant it feels on the skin. Despite being a sunscreen with SPF50, it absorbs incredibly quickly without feeling heavy or sticky. I also experience no “whitecast,” which is very important. The skin looks immediately fresh, healthy, and glowing after application. ✨ I’m in my late 20s and very focused on products that both protect the skin and provide plenty of moisture. My skin thrives best when it’s well hydrated, and this cream really delivers on that. It provides long-lasting moisture throughout the day while the skin feels soft, comfortable, and balanced. 💛 One thing I especially like about the product is that it combines high sun protection with skin-caring ingredients. It protects against UV rays while working on the skin’s firmness, elasticity, and moisture level. Ingredients like palmitoyl tripeptide-5 help support collagen production, making the product feel like both skincare and sun protection in one. ☀️✨ The result for me has been skin that looks more glowing, plump, and healthy. In fact, I would describe this as “glass skin in a bottle”! 😍 The skin gets a beautiful glow without becoming oily, and makeup also applies very nicely on top. I also like the mild and pleasant scent, which makes the product extra nice to use every morning. This is one of the best day creams with SPF I’ve tried, and a product I will definitely continue to use. 💛 Thank you so much for the opportunity to test this product – I’m incredibly impressed! 🥰✨ #lykotestpilot #dermalogica

    Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50

I got the opportunity to try and review this day cream with SPF 50. The consistency is perfect. I really like this type of cream. It is soft and a little bit oily in texture but leaves a natural glow. It arrived just in time for a sun vacation, so I apply this in the morning before sun exposure and supplement after a few hours with regular sunscreen. I have not yet experienced any sign of burning when I have only had this on my face. It feels very comfortable on the skin, provides good moisture and good SPF. However, it is a pity that it contains essential oils and "fragrance". The scent is mild and reminds a bit of tea and is really not overwhelming in any way. But unfortunately, I generally don’t think it belongs in facial products. This is because my skin has struggled with perioral dermatitis before, and essential oils and fragrance can easily trigger it. The price is a bit high. There are other creams that give a similar feeling at a lower price. But this one is supposed to be deeply effective and counteract breakdown in the skin. It will therefore be exciting to see what it does for the skin in the long run. #lykotestpilot #dermalogica

    Not for me 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have now used this product for 3 weeks and SPF is always something I use daily every morning! Unfortunately, this product really clashed with my skin! It didn’t absorb into the skin as one would have hoped, instead you could feel the product on the face. Since it didn’t absorb properly, I also noticed the product starting to flake off throughout the day on my face. I tried combining this with Dermalogica’s other products and using the SPF as the last step in my routine, but it was not at all the result I wanted. I also noticed I got bumps/pimples on my skin from this product, which is unfortunate! The function and application of the product itself is good, the cream is neither too thick nor too runny. Maybe it works better for someone else but not for me this time! 💃🏻 That’s why this product gets 1 ⭐️ out of 5 #lykotestpilot #dermalogica

Hi Nancy! 😊 Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with the product, even though it wasn’t quite a perfect score this time 🤍 Skincare is truly individual and can react differently depending on skin type and the routine you use otherwise. A little tip is to let each step in your routine absorb properly before applying SPF 🤗 Fingers crossed it works better! Wishing you a great day! 🌸

    Dynamic skin 🌱

As a #lykotestpilot, I received three products from #dermalogica, and one of the products is this cream with SPF 50 (which we like, right?). Before I break down my thoughts, I want to tell you a bit about my skin and what the cream promises: 🌱 Dry skin 🌱 Freckles 🌱 Red areas 🌱 Requires gentle exfoliation and moisturizing ingredients 🌱 Fine lines around the eyes Dynamic skin promises: 🌱 Improve firmness and elasticity 🌱 Inhibit uneven pigmentation 🌱 Stimulate the production of hyaluronic acid and collagen If you look at the pictures Dermalogica themselves posted of a person with forehead wrinkles, it shows a significant effect after just two weeks of use. I don’t see that effect on myself, of course, the person and I don’t have the same skin, but the "advertisement" is pretty straightforward: less visible wrinkles. In my case, that’s not visible, and at the same time, I’m not looking for my wrinkles to be reduced by the product; I want more and different effects. Also, I don’t have as visible wrinkles as the ad picture shows. 🫶🏼 I really like it, I want to be clear about that. Sure, it takes a while to work it into the skin, but it melts in nicely, the scent is also fresh and not too strong in my opinion. The cream isn’t better than any other, so I can’t give it five stars. I have many creams with SPF at a much lower price that suit my skin even better 🫶🏼 It gives a very moisturizing feeling and sits incredibly well under makeup, which I appreciate 💕, but the price is too high for me. Now, keep in mind I haven’t used it longer than about two weeks; maybe in a week I’ll see more of the promised effect. 🥳 Will I buy it again? No 🙂‍↔️ Would I buy it again if it cost 499? Yes 🙂‍↕️ I give it three strong stars ☀️☀️☀️ #lykotestpilot #dermalogica

    Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50

I have received this product for testing and here is my honest opinion. This is supposed to be a lightweight day cream with SPF50 that increases firmness, elasticity, and moisture content. I have very sensitive skin that needs a lot of moisture, and I am also prone to acne. This is a cream that feels very light on the skin. It absorbs quickly and does not feel sticky on my skin. Unfortunately, I experience mild irritation from this. Similar to the Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream from the same brand that I have also tested, this also contains some fragrances and essential oils that can irritate sensitive skin. It's a shame because I really liked the feel of this, and who doesn't need a day cream with SPF50 ☺️ This cream has chemical sunscreens (like Avobenzone and Homosalate) that can work great for a healthy skin barrier, but for me, mineral sunscreens usually work better. I would think this is a nice day cream for those who do not have skin as sensitive as mine. #lykotestpilot #dermalogica

    Luxurious Day Cream with SPF50

I have had the luxury of testing Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 for a few weeks as Lyko’s test pilot. I find that the day cream ticks several boxes I look for in my skincare routine; moisturizing, ingredients with anti-aging properties, and high SPF. Smooth application with a pump bottle, the cream takes a while to absorb into the skin. The day cream leaves some shine but feels more like a radiance/glow and works well for my normal/dry skin type. I’m impressed that the day cream has SPF50 and I feel it provides good protection. When I’ve been in the sun, I have also applied sunscreen as extra protection. I feel my skin has gained more radiance and it feels hydrated and protected. It will be interesting to continue using the product to see deeper results! #lykotestpilot #dermalogica

A rare SPF day cream that is actually light!

Most skin creams with SPF are quite greasy, which gives me breakouts, but this one doesn’t! It’s not as light as gel creams, but it’s perfect for me with dry/normal skin. It’s easy to apply and absorbs quickly. I use this in the morning, and I don’t experience any issues with makeup. Doesn’t leave a white cast! The only thing to be aware of is that even though there is SPF in the skin cream, you still need to apply regular sunscreen in addition during summer/in heat. If you’re just going out for a quick trip, the cream alone is enough, but for longer periods sunscreen should also be used. I took this with me to the south and used it on my face before regular sunscreen. I highly recommend this as you get extra protection + moisture back into the skin (something you need after lots of sun and swimming!). The pump is very easy to use and perfect for travel. Although the product is very good, in my opinion the price is a bit too high for everyday use considering it’s only 50 ml. I will continue to use it for specific occasions (like travel), but because of the price this won’t be something I use every day. ⭐️Summary review⭐️ + thin and light (considering it contains SPF) + absorbs quickly + doesn’t leave a white cast + good packaging/pump +/- need to use sunscreen on top if it’s very hot - high price for only 50 ml #lykotestpilot#dermalogica

    God, but ridiculously expensive

Got this as a Christmas gift. Very good and comfortable. But then it was empty and I thought I would buy it. But I discover that it is (for my finances) way too expensive - which automatically makes it bad. You can find a good SPF cream like this without paying so unnecessarily much.

    Best in class👩🏼‍🎓

I've been testing this for a few weeks and yes, I am converted! This is my new holy grail🏆 I have combination skin, a bit sensitive and quite dry when it starts to get cold🥶 My biggest problem with combination skin is finding something that provides good moisture to the areas that need it without getting oily in the rest of my face. This one does it all! I am a big fan of pump bottles, so I don't have to get bacteria in my moisturizer😌 The consistency is velvety soft and easy to massage into the skin, extra plus for drying quickly➕ A little minus for a bit of a weird smell, but it disappears quickly➖ The cream gives a light and natural glow, and my skin feels well moisturized all day🤩 And then we have the icing on the cake: it has sun protection🧴🌞 I prefer to keep my skincare to a minimal number of steps, at least in the morning (I usually run through the bathroom to make it to work hehe), so a moisturizer with sun protection is a sure winner for me🥇 The price is unfortunately steep, but the cream is economical in use and the results speak for themselves. It hurts a bit in the wallet, but it's worth it! #lykoinflutester #dermalogica
