Banking water cream 🌱
As a #lykotestpilot, I got to try three products from #dermalogica, and one of them is this boosting collagen cream 🌸. First, a bit about my skin and what the cream promises: 🌱 Dry skin 🌱 Freckles 🌱 Red areas 🌱 Requires gentle exfoliation and moisturizing ingredients 🌱 Fine lines around the eyes The cream promises: 🌱 Helps preserve collagen and elastin 🌱 Intensive deep hydration 🌱 Should strengthen the skin’s future firmness and elasticity I really like this cream! You can immediately feel the skin getting moisturized, and as you see in the video, it melts right into the skin. I also like the jar, where you can easily pump out as much cream as you want without any mess 👏🏼. I’ve used it almost every evening during the test period, partly because my skin actually gets a bit red right after application, and since I use SPF 50 during the day, I haven’t needed to use it before then. The skin feels really super smooth from the cream, and I wake up every morning with a nice glow ✨ 😍. This one together with Phyto Nature E2 is really great for my skin. 🥳 The cream definitely doesn’t feel heavy on the face, and I can imagine it also works for acne-prone skin. Again, the price of this one, close to a thousand, and promises visible results after three days (according to the ad), lowers my rating by one star 🌟. I would still consider buying this one again, but only when it’s on sale 💦🤣. It still gives my skin something it needs: moisture and glow, and the skin actually feels firm after use, so I believe in it 🥹💜. Dermalogica is a brand I’ve only tried a few products from, but I’ve actually liked many of them! Luxurious Skin Cream
I have been lucky to be a test pilot for some luxurious products from Dermalogica. Here is my review after a few weeks of using the Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream 🩵 When I looked at the ingredients, it looks promising with a water-based formula (since I use water-based foundation), peptides, and anti-aging benefits. I have a combination skin type that is acne-prone. The packaging has a practical and hygienic pump in the middle of the jar. The only downside I can see is that you can't see how much product is left. 🧼 The cream melts nicely into the skin, and I feel that I get a glow and feel hydrated all day. It is not heavy but a very light formula. I was positively surprised already at the first use of this cream! First and foremost, I love the packaging with a pump. It is both hygienic and easy to use, making it easy to get the right amount of product every time. 🥰 What I noticed right away was the incredible glow the skin got after application. The cream has a light and almost “watery” texture that feels very pleasant on the skin. Despite the light texture, it provides plenty of moisture and absorbs quickly without feeling heavy or greasy. ✨ I am in my late 20s and really like products that provide lots of moisture, glow, and help keep the skin healthy and balanced. During the testing period, this cream has become a favorite in my skincare routine. The skin feels hydrated, soft, and comfortable all day long. One thing I especially like about this cream is the combination of moisturizing and protective ingredients. The water-burst technology provides lots of moisture and a beautiful plumping effect, while ingredients like peptides, antioxidants, and biofermented radish root extract help support the skin barrier and give the skin a healthy and fresh appearance. 💙 After use, I find that the skin looks fuller, smoother, and more radiant. It gives a really plumped feeling, and the skin feels incredibly soft and smooth. I've tested many moisturizers over the years, but this one has truly earned a top spot among my favorites! 🥰✨ I am incredibly happy that I got the chance to test this product. Have now tested this product for 3 weeks and think it is absolutely wonderful! It absorbs quickly into the skin and moisturizes without feeling sticky on the face, while also giving a glow! 🫶🏼 The packaging and the actual function of the product are probably the best parts. I always tend to either take too little or too much of something, so this was perfect! One click is more than enough 💃🏻 To get the final result of this product, it probably requires more time to really see the desired effect. Do I think this product is worth the hype? Yes! ❤️ The price is a bit expensive, but if you want a product that actually delivers what it promises, I would strongly recommend this and to have patience in mind! Comfortable gel cream!
This is a gel cream that is thin, light, and easy to apply. When you first put on the cream, there is a citrus scent (which I was skeptical about due to sensitive skin), but the scent disappears quickly as the cream absorbs! I have normal/dry skin, and the cream has just the right amount of moisture for me (at least in spring/summer, haven’t tested it in winter). I liked the pump, and initially, a good amount of product came out. The only thing I have to mention is that if it’s in a toiletry bag and moves around, it’s hard to get the product out and it comes out unevenly. I took the cream out of the toiletry bag so it stands still and haven’t experienced any problems since. So it’s probably not the best cream to bring on trips. The cream gives a bit of glow and a plumping effect, and is supposed to have anti-aging effects (which I can’t comment on yet since I’ve only used it for 2-3 weeks). Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream
I received this product for testing and here is my honest opinion. I have skin that is quite sensitive, dehydrated, and acne-prone. I need a lot of moisture and gentle products. This is a gel-cream that is supposed to plump the skin as well as preserve collagen and elastin. The packaging is fun, but I notice that it often doesn’t pump out any product, so I have to press several times to get some out. The cream has a light gel consistency and feels like water when applied to the skin 💦 I find that it takes quite a long time to absorb, so I have used this in the evening when I’m not wearing makeup over it. So, how did it work for me? Unfortunately, not at all. I experienced quite a bit of stinging shortly after application, and on several occasions, I had to wash it off again because the stinging was unbearable. Unfortunately, I think this has way too many essential oils and fragrances for me; it smells very strongly of citrus and contains, among other things, orange, bergamot, and lemon peel oils, rosemary oil, and sandalwood oil. Lovely Face Cream
As a Lyko test pilot, I have had the opportunity to test Dermalogica's Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream for a few weeks, and I am very pleased with the product. I find that the face cream delivers on its promise of intense hydration, and my skin feels firm after use. The fact that it works anti-aging is a big plus. I like to use water-based face creams during the summer for a lighter feel on the skin, and this one has become a new favorite. It suits my normal/dry skin well.
