Banking water cream 🌱
As a #lykotestpilot, I got to try three products from #dermalogica, and one of them is this boosting collagen cream 🌸. First, a bit about my skin and what the cream promises: 🌱 Dry skin 🌱 Freckles 🌱 Red areas 🌱 Requires gentle exfoliation and moisturizing ingredients 🌱 Fine lines around the eyes The cream promises: 🌱 Helps preserve collagen and elastin 🌱 Intensive deep hydration 🌱 Should strengthen the skin’s future firmness and elasticity I really like this cream! You can immediately feel the skin getting moisturized, and as you see in the video, it melts right into the skin. I also like the jar, where you can easily pump out as much cream as you want without any mess 👏🏼. I’ve used it almost every evening during the test period, partly because my skin actually gets a bit red right after application, and since I use SPF 50 during the day, I haven’t needed to use it before then. The skin feels really super smooth from the cream, and I wake up every morning with a nice glow ✨ 😍. This one together with Phyto Nature E2 is really great for my skin. 🥳 The cream definitely doesn’t feel heavy on the face, and I can imagine it also works for acne-prone skin. Again, the price of this one, close to a thousand, and promises visible results after three days (according to the ad), lowers my rating by one star 🌟. I would still consider buying this one again, but only when it’s on sale 💦🤣. It still gives my skin something it needs: moisture and glow, and the skin actually feels firm after use, so I believe in it 🥹💜. Dermalogica is a brand I’ve only tried a few products from, but I’ve actually liked many of them! Nice gel consistency that unfortunately triggered my skin
This felt so nice at first! I really appreciate the gel consistency, it felt super fresh, cooled pleasantly on the skin, and gave a really nice glow the first few days! At first, I thought I had finally found the perfect product. But then came the setback… After less than a week, my face started to flare up and I got lots of small, itchy irritation spots especially on my forehead, which took quite a long time and a lot of moisture to get rid of after I stopped using it. It’s so frustrating when a product feels so good at first but then just irritates the skin barrier after a while. I was so lucky to get to test this series from #dermalogica as #lykotestpilot! 🤍 As a 23-year-old, I first wanted to try the products myself. This cream suited my skin very well! I have dry skin and this product was truly what my skin needed. It has a rich yet light texture that absorbs quickly without feeling heavy or sticky. My skin felt soft, well-moisturized, and had a nice glow already after the first application. ✨ Since the other products in the series are more targeted towards mature skin and I don’t have many wrinkles or lines, I let my mother (47 years old with dry skin) test them over a few weeks to see the best effect. She was incredibly pleased with this cream! She experienced that her skin became significantly softer, more supple, and well-moisturized throughout the day. The driest areas improved a lot, and her skin looked both plumper and fresher. She also really liked that the cream worked well under makeup. 💙 At the same time, I could also see the difference much more clearly on her skin; it looked much firmer and more even. All in all, both my mother and I think this is a fantastic moisturizer. I got to try this cream as #lykotestpilot and was positively surprised right from the first use ✨ I have combination skin, a bit on the oily side The packaging feels sleek and exclusive, and the jar is easy to use. Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream 50 ml
I have tested the Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream for one month, almost every day. My first impression was very positive; the cream provides plenty of moisture and has a light, water-based gel consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling heavy or sticky. I have normal skin with very rare breakouts, and this cream worked very well for my skin. It gave a nice, fresh glow and also worked excellently as a base under makeup. The makeup applied nicely and stayed looking good throughout the day. I should also say that it gave the skin a plump finish and contains lots of good ingredients that are supposed to help reduce fine lines, provide good moisture to the skin, and support the skin barrier. Regarding the cream itself, I don’t think it stands out much from other water-based moisturizers on the market. It contains some fragrance, which some people might be sensitive to, but I found the scent mild and pleasant and had no reactions. The only downside for me is that since the cream is so light and water-based, I feel the moisture doesn’t last all day. I therefore had to apply more moisture later in the day than I usually do with richer creams. Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream
I got the opportunity to test this product and review it. And what I’ve experienced so far with this product is the following: A cooling and light but moisturizing cream due to its light formula. I find it very pleasant to apply, it really feels "watery" and cooling. I received this just in time for a sun holiday. And it’s perfect to apply after a day at the beach to hydrate and cool down the skin. However, I think it’s not quite as moisturizing as I had hoped or as I generally prefer in creams. But for having the light consistency it has, it is moisturizing. On the other hand, it contains essential oils, just like the other products I got to test from Dermalogica. The scent is mild and not overwhelming. But unfortunately, I generally don’t think it belongs in facial products. This is because my skin has struggled with perioral dermatitis before, and essential oils and fragrance can easily trigger it. Love the consistency!
Really liked this moisturizer! The consistency is absolutely lovely. A light gel cream that absorbs quickly into the skin, provides plenty of moisture, and a nice glow. The skin feels well hydrated afterwards, without the cream feeling heavy or sticky. It gets plus points for both anti-aging and good ingredients. The cream smells like many other Dermalogica products, which might be a bit much for some on the face. My skin doesn’t react to it (but it can tolerate a bit). The pump bottle is a fun patent, but I’m curious if there will be product waste when approaching the end of the package or if you get it all out. I have to deduct a bit for the expensive price. 🤍 Light cream that absorbs quickly 🤍
As a test pilot here at Lyko, I have had the chance to try this and two other products from Dermalogica over a few weeks. The container is sleek and feels luxurious, and I appreciate the pump function. It is also light and convenient to carry in my bag. I have combination/normal skin and mainly use this in the evening as the last step. I find that it really softens and moisturizes the skin while making it smooth and nice. The cream has a lovely, light texture and absorbs quickly, which is a big plus. It feels really good on my skin and I haven’t noticed any irritation. The scent is a bit different – I think it reminds me of some kind of ointment from the pharmacy, but it’s not a strong scent so it doesn’t bother me. Luxurious Skin Cream
I have been lucky to be a test pilot for some luxurious products from Dermalogica. Here is my review after a few weeks of using the Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream 🩵 When I looked at the ingredients, it looks promising with a water-based formula (since I use water-based foundation), peptides, and anti-aging benefits. I have a combination skin type that is acne-prone. The packaging has a practical and hygienic pump in the middle of the jar. The only downside I can see is that you can't see how much product is left. 🧼 The cream melts nicely into the skin, and I feel that I get a glow and feel hydrated all day. It is not heavy but a very light formula. I was positively surprised already at the first use of this cream! First and foremost, I love the packaging with a pump. It is both hygienic and easy to use, making it easy to get the right amount of product every time. 🥰 What I noticed right away was the incredible glow the skin got after application. I have now tested this product for 3 weeks and think it is absolutely wonderful! It absorbs quickly into the skin and moisturizes without feeling sticky on the face, while also giving a glow! 🫶🏼 The packaging and the actual function of the product are probably the best parts. I always tend to either take too little or too much of something, so this was perfect! One click is more than enough 💃🏻 To get the final result of this product, it probably requires more time to really see the desired effect. Do I think this product is worth the hype?
