A perfect hit for me as a day cream!
I’ve found a new favorite product, this cream! It feels luxurious and is really good. I have dry skin, really dry skin, and want a lighter cream that still makes my skin hydrated, plumped, and nice, and that’s exactly what this cream does! I’ve tested three products from Emma S, and this is my favorite of the three that I will definitely buy again! It has a sleek design, and I’m just making my fine lines look better, as it says on the packaging. I think my entire facial skin looks nicer and fresher with the cream. It’s really fun to be truly satisfied with a cream that’s mid-priced and that I experience as luxurious and yes, more expensive! I wouldn’t be surprised if it cost around 800 SEK. As mentioned, it provides good moisture and other things that really give a nice result on my skin, which is a bit older and has started to be called mature. But I can also really imagine that it suits younger people than me. It contains a little bonus SPF, since you never use enough of a day cream for full sun protection, so that’s just a bonus because of that. The moment I would think it’s enough as SPF is a dark day in December when I’m outside no more than 5-7 minutes during the few daylight hours. But it still feels fresh with a little protection. The scent is mild, soft, and fresh, I find the scent nice and exclusive. A scent that doesn’t take up space and perks me up in the morning when I use the cream. It’s not the same scent as the Emma S Hydrating series, which is also nice and mild. Unfortunately it didn't suit my skin
I have been able to test this day cream with SPF 20 for a few weeks and I was excited to use a day cream with sun protection since I usually prefer to use them separately. My first impression of the day cream was that the packaging felt luxurious and the scent was nice. It has that classic sunscreen scent that I like. The texture felt light but a bit oily. Unfortunately, the result of this was not just glow, hydration, and sun protection, but it clogged my skin and I got some bigger pimples, which I usually don't get. My skin type is dry on the surface with a more oily T-zone. I have slightly larger pores, so something in combination with my skin unfortunately didn't work. A really good day cream with a few small downsides
I have been testing this day cream for about three weeks now, and overall I really like it in ALMOST every way! It has become a very lovely final step in my morning routine and suits me who has very dry skin. 🧖♀️ What I especially like is how moisturized the skin feels. I usually also like to apply a generous layer of my day cream because my skin is often very dry, but with this one I actually need to be a bit careful. If I take too much, the layer becomes a bit too thick and can feel sticky on the skin. With the right amount, however, it feels very nice and moisturizing! I also have to highlight the pump, which I really like! It makes it easy to get out the right amount of product and feels very smooth to use. However, I am actually a bit less fond of the packaging itself. Compared to the other products I have tested, it doesn’t feel quite as luxurious, which is a bit of a shame because the product itself gives a significantly more luxurious feeling than the packaging does (also considering the price)! I think it feels that way because of the plastic silver lid. I took before and after pictures during the test period and to be completely honest: after three weeks I don’t yet see a big or dramatic difference in the pictures. But considering that three weeks is a fairly short time, I don’t think you should draw any too big conclusions about the long-term results yet. What I can say already is that the skin feels very moisturized and pleasant, and I actually look forward to using it in my routine. Probably good for older skin
Have tested this through #lykotestpilot #lykoinflutester and #emmas ! The packaging feels solid and luxurious, always nice when products come in a box. The bottle itself is nice and luxurious with a sleek design. Great that it’s a pump bottle, it’s convenient and hygienic. The cream itself is a bit thick, I think, but smells light and nice. Would have preferred a fragrance-free product though! My skin is dry with an oily T-zone, has many pores and some acne. Used this after cleansing. It moisturizes but feels a bit greasy! Was a bit tricky to get into the skin, easier on the neck. A plus that it contains SPF. Mixed feelings about this cream. It moisturizes but makes the skin a bit greasy – wish it absorbed more easily. I prefer to use Emma S gel cream from the Bye Bye Pores series as a moisturizer. I’m 40 years old and would probably like to use this when I’m around 60. Will therefore give it to my mom, feels like I have too oily a T-zone for this product. So overall – a nice, luxurious, and quality product that adds moisture but feels too greasy. Probably a nice gift for someone a bit older, would recommend it to them! Revitalising Day Cream SPF 20
I have had the honor to test this cream from Emma S 😍 The first thing I thought about was that the pump bottle was very nice and luxurious. Extra positive was that it is a pump bottle. I have combination skin, but a bit drier in autumn/winter. The pump dispenses a perfect amount and the cream is so smooth when you apply it, it doesn’t smell strong but really smells luxurious. The glow you get is just WOW. It keeps my skin moisturized but doesn’t leave a greasy feeling on the skin like many other creams do for me. After testing it for a few weeks now, my skin is so soft and moisturized and my pigmentation spots on my forehead have actually decreased. Good day cream for mature skin
I think this is a good product overall. The cream has a slightly thicker consistency, so it feels like you need a bit more to get it everywhere. It absorbs quickly into the skin and feels nice on the skin. I have especially noticed a difference in redness and also think that fine lines have become less noticeable. One negative thing is that I think it has a bit of a strange smell, although it’s not something that bothers me a lot. Another negative is that it only contains SPF 20, which for me is too little since I usually use sunscreen with SPF 50 on my face. So that part feels a bit pointless for me, but for someone who doesn’t usually use sunscreen, it’s a good multi-product. Therefore, a slightly lower rating from me, but I definitely think it suits others with more mature skin who want sun protection in their day cream. Overall, I’m satisfied with the product and definitely think it works, but personally, it feels like it suits slightly more mature skin better than my own. Sticky
I have used this day cream for a few weeks, but it was not for me. The packaging is great, a nice and practical pump bottle. Two pumps were enough for my face. I used the cream during the day at first, but it left a sticky film and had trouble absorbing into the skin and made my face sweaty. I then switched to using it at night instead, but the sticky feeling remained. Beautiful Glow ✨🌟🤍
I've had the honor to try some skincare products from Emma S ☁️🤍🫶🏼 The design of this day cream is sleek and the pump bottle makes it very hygienic and very convenient, but when I first pressed out the cream, I was a little hesitant. As someone with dry skin, it didn’t feel powerful or rich enough to save my skin. It has a nice formula with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and antioxidants as well as SPF 20. The cream absorbs smoothly and gives an immediate glow, but the sun protection factor feels a bit low for real sunny days and I still needed to apply a fairly generous layer so my skin wouldn’t feel tight after a few hours. I have very dry skin that quickly soaks up all moisture and easily gets dry patches or visible dryness lines if a day cream is too thin. I’m usually skeptical of multifunctional day creams with SPF as they rarely provide enough nourishment for dry skin. The cream softens the skin for the moment and reduces the finest dryness lines thanks to the hyaluronic acid, but it’s not quite enough on its own for me. To keep my dry skin soft and hydrated all day, I need to supplement with a hydrating serum underneath. Revitalising Day Cream SPF 20
After testing this day cream for about 4-5 weeks, my skin has started to "get used" to it. I have very dry skin and have previously used a lot of moisturizing creams. This product absorbs incredibly well into the skin and feels nice both as a night cream and day cream. I haven't noticed any major differences in the "wrinkles" I have, but the skin feels elastic. This day cream is truly a full score for me and my sensitive, dry skin. The product comes in a sleek packaging and a practical formula with 50 ml content, which is a generous amount for a very good price. The formula provides a lovely and moisturizing feeling, and I have never before experienced skincare with SPF working well under makeup, but this is the first time I’ve found a product that actually works!! It both moisturizes, protects, and counteracts signs of aging in the skin. The scent is also a plus as it is very pleasant and gives a fresh feeling on the skin. A nice day cream
I have had the chance to try this day cream from Emma S for about two to three weeks as a test pilot here at Lyko. The packaging is fresh and sleek, feels elegant and simple – in the best way! Nice with a pump. The packaging feels very light. 🤍 The cream itself is lovely, absorbs nicely and quickly. The skin looks fresh and you get a lovely glow, especially in combination with the Smoothing Niacinamide Formula from the same brand (which I apply before this). Contains lovely ingredients. I have tested it for too short a time to determine if it helps reduce fine lines and even out skin tone, in my opinion. It feels luxurious and lovely, yet simple. Contains SPF 20, which is a plus! I have reactive and somewhat dry skin. My skin has not reacted to this. But I sometimes feel it’s not quite enough as a moisturizing cream for me; I feel a bit dry after a while. All in all, it’s very good, I rate it four out of five. I’m very happy I got to try this, will gladly use it all up!
