Lays on like a dream!
I think this is an incredibly nice foundation. I use the shade 2W2 Rattan🫶🏼✨ I have combination skin with a forehead that easily gets oily, and this foundation is really matte in a nice, long-lasting way. It keeps the shine away and stays where it should all day without separating or getting cakey😍✨👏🏼 If you have drier skin, I would absolutely recommend using a richer cream underneath, because it is, as mentioned, matte in its finish. With a richer cream underneath, it lays super nicely and looks even and fresh. With a lighter cream, the result is also nice, but more naturally matte. Feel free to check out my video where I show how it works on me both with a rich cream and a lighter one, so you can see the difference clearly. I actually have nothing to complain about when it comes to result, durability, or finish. The only thing that holds me back is the price. 640 kr is above my pain threshold for a foundation, and honestly, I don’t think I would have bought it at full price. I would definitely wait for it to be on sale. Unfortunately the worst foundation I've tested!
I'm so sad that this foundation turned out to be such a total disappointment for me, I had high expectations for this! The color I received didn't really match me as it was very light, but I overlooked that in the review and focused on how it performs. I am 33 years old, have skin that leans more oily and is slightly acne-prone. I haven't really gotten wrinkles yet, but some fine lines around my eyes have started to appear. I usually use L’Oréal True Match foundation or Lumene CC Cream. The first thing about the product is the incredibly worthless packaging with a screw cap!! No pump, no dropper or anything for application, you have to POUR out the product. It's messy, a waste of product and yes, worthless. It laid on my skin like a dry film, I've tried applying both with a brush and with a sponge. Instead of making the skin smooth, it emphasized every pore, line and made me look older. I've never experienced anything like it! I can't manage to work this into my skin, no matter how much I try in different ways. I've set my makeup as usual with powder and setting spray, yet the oiliness has really come through about 10 hours later, which it doesn't usually do with my other foundations. It has also slid off and doesn't sit well at all, while when I have my usual foundations, they stay put all day. (I prefer to pour directly from the bottle instead of using a pump 😊) I don't know if this new bottle has a new formula from the previous one? Have you tried this foundation before? It looks like you are applying way too much product on the back of your hand, try a little less (like 1/4 of what you use) and make sure to be moisturized when applying the foundation. I usually use a damp sponge (I saw that you also tried that but maybe you should try with less product? 🥰 I have this foundation (I have the old bottle) and love it, I'm the same age as you and have normal/dry combination skin. So the result should be drier on me in that case, but I like this and always get a nice result. I like coverage but prefer to use two thin layers ❤️ this foundation is one that you need very little of, I think, but it also depends on what result you want 🥰2 likes

Love the new formula!
I was initially very skeptical about the new formula since I like the original, but it works so much better for my drier skin with an oily T-zone. :) I use Benefit’s Porefessional primer with this and use a beauty blender. New formula is awful
I've used this for many years and been really satisfied. Now it has been replaced with this new one and I have to say I am sooooooo disappointed. It doesn't cover, is shiny instead of mattifying, and transfers onto clothes. I am so disappointed, I have no words. You should remove the good reviews of the old foundation as they don't apply to this one. It's so stupid to change something that was so good. The new formula is not as good. I bought Dawn, which I have always used, and think it is very orange in the new version. Any tips for another shade and another foundation I should try? Solid foundation
🥰I’ve been so lucky to get to test this foundation. My honest opinion is that I find it super easy to work with and it sits beautifully on the skin with a natural and matte finish. I think the coverage is definitely one of the biggest advantages because it can be built up from medium to full without looking heavy, and it’s great for evening out the skin and hiding all imperfections. However, you need to remember to moisturize your skin with a good cream before applying this foundation, otherwise your look will appear very dry. Overall, I think it’s a very solid foundation, especially if you want long-lasting wear and a more matte finish. I’ve used the double wear for many years - and this new upgraded version of the double wear simply assures me that I need to continue using it! It doesn’t crease and it lasts through the whole day. I have used the same foundation for 15 years.. double wear 1n2 and it has been the perfect shade and I have loved it like no other foundation. And now when I ordered this in the same color, I turned yellow and it feels really sticky.
