  Shine & Repair Conditioner

  I have tested this conditioner from Izel Beauty that is supposed to provide intense care, nourishment, and strength to the hair. It is supposed to protect against wear and reduce split ends. I have dry, thin, and Nordic hair that easily gets split ends, so I am always looking for a conditioner that can seal the hair. I have used this after shampooing 2 times with the shampoo from the same series. This conditioner really makes the hair shiny, soft, and easy to comb. But then there was the smell. As I have said about both the shampoo, the serum, and the heat protection spray from the same series, this scent is way too strong for me. Unfortunately, it ruins an otherwise good product. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #Izelbeauty

  I have tested products from lyko again, this time a series from #Izelbeauty It will be a joint review of the products, since I couldn't tolerate them. I have tested: 🧖‍♀️Shine & Repair Shampoo 300 ml 🧖‍♀️Shine & Repair Conditioner 300 ml 🧖‍♀️Hair Perfecting Shine Serum 75 ml 🧖‍♀️Gloss Shield Heat Protection Spray 150 I really liked the design of the products, sweet colors and easy to use, all the products were easy to work with and had a nice consistency. I liked the scent a little right away, BUT it kind of never went away and eventually became so intense that I got a slight headache. I was excited to try the products, but already after the first wash, I started to itch, and it burned on my scalp. I tried a different soap the next time I showered, and that went well. Then I tried the products from #Izelbeauty again, and the same thing happened. The itching stays until I shower again. It got so bad for me that I had to take allergy medicine. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test the products much since I react to them. I have sensitive skin, so this unfortunately wasn't for me. I think they are way too perfumed. But my hair looked nice after a shower though. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #Izelbeauty

  I have tested this, along with three other products in the same series. This conditioner has the same sweet, floral scent as the shampoo and is easy to distribute in the hair. It gives an immediate smooth feeling, but I think it leaves a slightly too heavy finish, especially in fine hair. ➕ Makes hair soft and smooth, smells good (the scent lasts leeenge) ➕ Easy to distribute and comb through ➕ Gives a nice shine ➖ Can feel heavy and cause an oilier scalp faster ➖ A bit too silicone-like for my taste Probably best suited for those with dry or curly hair, but for me, it became a bit too heavy in the long run. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #Izelbeauty

  Can't stand the smell...

  As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to test this conditioner from #izelbeauty. I have dry, bleached hair with an oily scalp, wash my hair about 2 times a week, and try to focus on moisture. This conditioner is supposed to provide strong, shiny, and soft hair. Reduce hair damage, protect against heat damage, and is suitable for all hair types. I find this conditioner easy to distribute in my hair and it makes it very soft and shiny. It feels a bit like it gives a protective layer when you then blow-dry your hair (like silicones do). So I like the "effect" on my hair. I usually don't notice much difference between conditioners, but here I actually noticed a positive effect👍 I can't say much about the reduced risk of hair damage/breakage or protection against heat damage, but it feels smooth and shiny after use. However, I don't like how "bulky" the bottle is, it doesn't fit among my other bottles. But what brings the rating down the most is the smell! I can't describe it other than that it's extremely strong and lingers in the hair until you wash it again. And I really don't like it! So the problem is that even if you would like the effect of the conditioner, as I do, you have to like the smell because you won't get rid of it.. And it's hard to know if you'll like it because they can't really explain it... If you're sensitive to scents, don't buy the Shine & Repair series from this brand (tested conditioner, shampoo, heat protectant & shine serum and they all smell the same). But as I said, I still think it's an okay conditioner that my hair seems to like, for a good price, but the smell is horrible and makes me want to give this product away and never buy it myself. There are so many other conditioners I like the smell of that give the same if not better effect😬
