I got to test this leave-in conditioner from #redken. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are just as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) This is the leave-in conditioner from Redken's popular bond building product line. My experience: The scent is very masculine and lingers for a long time.. I don't like smelling like a man, so that's a big minus. But if you overlook the scent, it's a good, creamy leave-in conditioner that also protects the hair when blow-drying (if you're going to straighten or curl your hair, you'll probably need a separate heat protectant). The silicones make the hair soft, easy to comb, and give it a healthy, shiny look. Is it worth your money? Well.. more worth it than the shampoo, but still expensive. You can find better, cheaper alternatives. A cheaper bond building alternative is L'Oréal's bond building line.. they have the same owner and similar ingredient lists. But if you really want to try something from Redken's bond building line, I think it's enough to use either the pre-shampoo treatment, the conditioner, or the leave-in conditioner. I have tested hair care products from Redken through Smartson and was positively surprised. My hair was previously quite damaged and dry, but I actually noticed a difference after just a few washes. It now feels softer, healthier, and much easier to manage in everyday life. I also like that the products smell fresh without being too strong. Additionally, I experience less frizz and more shine, which makes a big difference. I will continue to use them going forward. Really effective treatment
I have been using the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate treatment for a couple of weeks, and I am genuinely impressed with the effect. Already after the first few times, I could feel that my hair felt stronger, more flexible, and significantly less dry. It is clear that this product goes a step beyond both shampoo and conditioner. It provides a more intensive care that you can really feel – especially if the hair is damaged or lacks moisture. My hair feels more resilient and looks healthier after use. I use it a couple of times a week as an extra treatment, and that is enough to achieve a good effect. It does not weigh the hair down but leaves it soft, shiny, and easy to comb. All in all, a product I would definitely recommend if you want to give your hair a little extra love and care. Favorite for the damaged hair!
This is probably my favorite step from the line. I use it on damp hair, and it instantly makes my hair feel smoother and easier to brush through. The texture is light, so it doesn’t make my hair greasy or heavy at all. The scent is amazing and stays a bit in the hair, which I love. After styling, my hair looks really shiny, soft, and just healthier overall. It’s perfect if you want extra protection, smoothness, and that final polished look. The best leave-in I've tried so far
First of all, I love the scent! It's fresh and citrusy, and not heavy/sweet at all like many other hair products can be. The product is easy to apply to the hair, and it doesn't weigh it down or make it greasy. My hair is quite frizzy, and this leave-in helps so much to keep my hair soft! I think it works best if you style your hair after applying – I always use a hot brush to style my hair, and it simply becomes so soft afterwards. I will definitely buy this product again. This is the "icing on the cake." The leave-in cream is light and does not weigh the hair down at all, which is important to me. It calms frizz and gives a lovely finish after styling. It feels reassuring to know that it also protects against heat. The hair looks healthier and feels much more resilient to everyday wear and tear. Fresh hair again
Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave-In Treatment is a product that really surprised me positively. I was a bit skeptical at first because leave-in products can sometimes feel sticky or weigh hair down, but this one has a light, almost gel-cream texture that absorbs quickly. I immediately noticed that my hair became softer and much easier to detangle, without feeling greasy or heavy. After a few uses, I felt that my hair looked fresher, with more shine and less frizz. The big bonus is that it also provides heat protection, making it perfect before styling. Heat protection up to 230°C and a strengthening effect on the hair make it feel like a true all-in-one product. It worked very well for my hair, but I can imagine you need to be careful with the amount if you have very fine hair. I am super satisfied with the Acidic Bonding series from Redken! It comes highly recommended if you want hair that is left smelling great, soft, and truly cared for. My hair gets oily easily, so I was a bit skeptical about how the products would work for me — but I am only positively surprised. I have medium hair strands and uncolored hair, and I notice that my hair becomes less frizzy, has fewer broken strands, and gains a more noticeable shine after use. The consistency is like any other leave-in, and you only need a small amount of product, which means it lasts longer ;). However, I would still recommend using the series about once a week and supplementing with other products that focus on reducing oil if you – like me – tend to have quickly oily hair. Very good!
I have been using these products for a couple of weeks now, and I am very satisfied with the result. The hair feels really clean after washing, while not becoming dry or frizzy. The shampoo lathers well and has a pleasant scent, and the conditioner makes the hair soft and easy to comb through. The leave-in treatment provides extra care and makes the hair feel stronger and more shiny. I also notice more fullness and volume, especially at the roots. All in all, the hair feels healthier and better cared for, and I will definitely continue to use these products.147 views
