[SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY – MOLECULAR REPAIR] When hair gets damaged, its molecular structure, made up of peptides, breaks down. This leads to breakage and a loss of elasticity and vibrancy. But most peptides are too large to penetrate the fibers, making the damage nearly irreversible. Enter the scientific breakthrough – Absolut Repair Molecular.
[INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY] This isn’t just surface repair; it’s deep molecular repair. This exclusive, high-concentration rinse-off serum, featuring 2% binding peptides + 5 amino acids, rebuilds the hair’s molecular structure** to restore its strength, elasticity, and vibrancy***.
[DEEP PENETRATION] Inspired by skincare serums, it goes beyond regular repairing masks, diving deep into the fibers to reconstruct the hair’s molecular structure****.
[INSTANT TRANSFORMATION] Experience an immediate hair makeover: shine and smoothness are dramatically improved*****.
[PROFESSIONAL FORMULA] The lightweight consistency of the serum is absorbed by the fibers, repairing the hair’s molecular structure**.
[DEVELOPED IN COLLABORATION WITH HAIR REPAIR EXPERTS] This line was created in partnership with three hair repair specialists: – Adina Pignatare @adina_pignatare from the USA: "My clients experienced incredible transformations! They felt their hair was incredibly vibrant and healthier. It’s impressive that something designed for repair has such an effect." – Mike Julliard @loungecut from France: "We’re not just beautifying hair; we’re giving it a new structure, new strength, and saying goodbye to lifeless locks." - Barbara Rabelo @barbararabelo_ from Brazil: "This series rebuilds and repairs deeply."

How to Use:
Use in the second step of your hair care routine, where you typically apply your mask. This concentrated formula penetrates the fibers and instantly transforms the inner part of the strands. For optimal results, use the rinse-off serum after Absolut Repair Molecular shampoo and detangle your hair for better serum absorption. Apply to wet hair. Divide your hair into 2 sections. Dispense 2–3 pumps of serum into your hands. Distribute evenly in one section from lengths to ends. Repeat in the other section. For very dry hair, apply from the roots all the way to the tips. Work the serum into your hair between your palms for 1 to 2 minutes. No waiting time needed. Rinse thoroughly. For the best results, finish with the Absolut Repair Molecular leave-in mask.

I’ve had the honor of trying this "rinse off serum" from #LOREAL over the past few weeks 😍👩🦰 My hair type: 🤖Dry🤖 🤖Damaged & bleached🤖 🤖Wavy/curly🤖 🤖Frizzy🤖 Usage: This is basically like a serum for the hair. You use it after shampooing instead of conditioner. 🧴 My opinion on the product: It really feels like the product penetrates deep into the hair & repairs. The hair becomes very soft & manageable afterwards. I also think it smells very fresh & nice. The consistency is, as you can see in the picture, quite runny & light. Which makes it a bit difficult to apply evenly in the hair, in my opinion. But I found it easiest to section the hair & apply. In summary, a great product for those of you with damaged & worn hair that needs love!💖👩🦰 #LOREALPRO #LYKOINFLUTESTER17 likes8815 viewsEmilia

1 monthVerifierad testareWatery and not economical
I was really happy when I got my latest assignment as a #lykoinflutester because I saw that it was salon products (or at least it seems so judging by the price tag!) from L’Oréal Professionnel to test for free in exchange for my honest opinion here on the site. I noticed that the serum was a smaller size than the corresponding shampoo, 250 ml vs 300 ml. This is not something I like, I want equal amounts of product from each. This turned out to be relevant right away. I have very long, dry, and thick hair, and this serum is not like a regular conditioner in consistency, but more like water 💦. For me, it makes the product quite hard to dose and not economical. It is described as concentrated, but that is really not the experience I get. It’s in with molecular/bond repair, but I can’t really say that I’ve noticed any repairing dramatic difference in my hair. But it’s easy to detangle, so the product does what I expect from a conditioner. The scent of the product is, unlike the shampoo, not as nice but more "dry and rough". There will be no repurchase of this, the other products in the series are much better! #lorealpro10 likes6713 viewsto leave a comment Kate
1 dayOkay
I tested the series for Smartson. The serum is okay, but you need to use significantly more product than what is described on the bottle. The consistency is very thin and hard to distribute in my otherwise fine hair. But I believe it has a good effect. I was very surprised by the smell, which was definitely not good in my nose, I got the feeling of a mix of men's perfume and sour ashtray, where the smell lingered in my hair all day and almost "followed" me. But I gave it a chance as I was curious about the effect of the products. I'm glad I did! My hair has gotten so much better, I've gotten used to the smell and it actually now stands on my Christmas wish list.1 likes37 viewsto leave a commentSilkea
1 dayMakes a big difference for dry curly hair.
I have tested the L'Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Molecular Rinse-off Serum, and as a woman with long, slightly curly hair who often straightens my curls, I have found it really effective. I use the serum after shampoo when my hair is still damp. I take a small amount and massage it into the lengths and ends, where my hair is most exposed to heat treatment. The serum is light and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feeling, and it makes my hair easier to style. When I straighten my hair, I immediately notice a difference – it becomes shinier, smoother, and easier to work with. After use, my hair not only looks smoother but also feels stronger and less dry, even after using a flat iron. I am especially happy that my hair stays smooth, shiny, and soft all day without feeling heavy or flat. It is definitely a product I will continue to use, both for the extra care and because it makes my hair more manageable. #lykotestpilot #lorealprofessionel3 likes408 viewsto leave a commentTH
1 dayMore hassle than improvement – a disappointing experience
More hassle than improvement – a disappointing experience I tested this serum for free for Smartson, and it was actually the product in the line that I had the highest expectations for. As someone with long and thick hair that is easily weighed down by conditioner, a lighter serum sounded like a promising solution. Unfortunately, reality did not live up to the expectation. The first thing I noticed was the consistency. The serum is as thin as water, which makes it almost impossible to work with. A large portion of the product runs between my fingers and ends up in the drain before it reaches my hair. It’s frustrating and makes the product far from economical to use – especially when, like me, you have a lot of hair and therefore need a certain amount. When the serum finally gets into the hair, it actually feels softer at first, but that is short-lived. After a few hours, I noticed that my hair started to feel greasy and heavy, as if the product hadn’t absorbed properly but just sat on top. I had hoped for lightness and an airy result, but got the exact opposite. The scent is also a minus for me. Although it’s not as strong as the shampoo’s, it still lingers, and I found it too overpowering and not very pleasant. Overall, the product has been a disappointment. The concept sounded good, but the thin consistency, the troublesome application process, and the greasy result make me not want to continue using it. I’m left feeling like I’ve wasted both time and product. If you’re looking for an alternative to conditioner that is light and effective, this serum unfortunately is not the answer. It’s simply too impractical and doesn’t deliver the desired effect. I had hoped for an improvement in my hair care routine, but ended up with more hassle than joy.57 viewsEmma S

Smells wonderful and gives the hair a lovely shine. It's easy and economical to use. Overall, I'm satisfied with the entire line. However, it works better for my daughter's brown hair than my blonde. When she brushes, the brush glides easily through. But in my blonde hair, the brush got stuck in knots. #smartson54 viewsto leave a commentRegine
2 daysThe serum smells like chemicals and doesn't quite deliver on its promises regarding moisture
I was lucky enough to try the entire line through Smartson. shampoo, serum, and leave-in from L’Oréal. The serum had a very strong chemical smell and was very masculine compared to the shampoo and leave-in. I also didn’t find that it removed tangles and frizz as promised. I haven’t tried it long enough to determine if it can help my hair in the long run. But I hope that it still happens. I have very damaged hair and have used straighteners and other tools without heat protection for many years, which has left me with thin hair strands that have a lot of frizz and damage. But unfortunately, this serum hasn’t given me a good feeling so far. After the 5th use, I felt a bit better while using it, so I probably need to use it for a while before I see real results. But the scent is quite strong, almost like some strong hair dyes when you rub it in. I’ve followed the instructions after shampooing by sectioning my hair, squeezing out moisture first, and pulling from root to tip in many passes before rinsing out. After 3/4 uses, I feel a significant improvement in moisture levels compared to the first and second uses, so this is probably a product that gets better with time but not after the first use. Even though I don’t yet feel the biggest improvement in frizz and moisture, I can tell that the day after it actually feels soft, even though it hasn’t felt that way. So yes, it needs a bit more time, but the fact that there’s already an improvement makes me want to continue using it and see if it does anything more in the long run. I’ve managed fine without conditioner, but I don’t feel it makes it easier regarding tangles and frizz. But worth a try. So I need to keep testing before I can decide if it will be a repurchase.1 likes61 viewsto leave a commentEmma

2 daysLovely scent, less frizz.
I got to try this series through a test pilot at Smartson and I am impressed. I love the scent of real salon shampoo, and all the products in this series smell absolutely amazing. I think the rinse-out serum has a slightly too liquid consistency, almost like a thin oil, but that's just a matter of taste. It made it a bit harder to distribute, but I am very satisfied with the result. I have normal hair that tends to get dry at the ends and has a tendency to get a bit frizzy, but this series has really helped with that. Super satisfied!52 viewsto leave a commentKaroline
2 daysSo much shine!!
I got to test the product for free through Smartson. In the shower, I didn't feel much difference using this serum compared to another conditioner, but when I got out and dried my hair, I noticed a big difference! My hair got an incredible shine and became super soft, not to mention the whole series smells amazing, which is a big plus. A bit difficult to distribute since the serum is quite thin, so the best way was almost to apply it directly to the hair and not in my hands.31 viewsto leave a commentAhlsenida

6 daysWhich product is best?
Which of the products should one buy from rinse-off and leave in? I have naturally wavy/curly hair but it is heat-damaged from flat ironing. I cut it regularly but can't decide which product can help my hair the best.1 likes144 viewsEmma
Customer service at Lyko6 daysHello Alice I recommend including both the Rinse-Off Serum and the Leave-In cream in your routine. The Rinse-Off Serum is an intensive treatment used in the shower to deeply nourish the hair. The Leave-In cream is applied after the shower to towel-dried hair and acts as a finishing treatment while creating a protective barrier for the hair lengths All the best!
