I got to test this leave-in conditioner from #redken. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are just as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) This is the leave-in conditioner from Redken's popular bond building product line. My experience: The scent is very masculine and lingers for a long time.. I don't like smelling like a man, so that's a big minus. But if you overlook the scent, it's a good, creamy leave-in conditioner that also protects the hair when blow-drying (if you're going to straighten or curl your hair, you'll probably need a separate heat protectant). The silicones make the hair soft, easy to comb, and give it a healthy, shiny look. Is it worth your money? Well.. more worth it than the shampoo, but still expensive. You can find better, cheaper alternatives. A cheaper bond building alternative is L'Oréal's bond building line.. they have the same owner and similar ingredient lists. But if you really want to try something from Redken's bond building line, I think it's enough to use either the pre-shampoo treatment, the conditioner, or the leave-in conditioner. A new favorite
I have quite thick and dry curly hair that tends to get frizzy, for example when I use heat tools or due to humidity outside. In addition to being quite dry and damaged. Since I started using Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave-In Treatment regularly, this has changed completely. The first thing I noticed is the pleasant and clean scent that isn’t too strong. The cream is light in texture and distributes evenly in the hair without weighing it down. I must say the effect of the product has been surprisingly good. My hair feels much smoother and easier to work with, and I notice that it doesn’t tangle or frizz up like it usually does. It feels stronger and more protected, as if it can handle heat styling much better than before. The result is smooth, shiny, and stronger hair, with no signs of frizz. For those of you with dry, damaged, or treated hair who want less frizz and damaged hair, this is a product that really makes a difference. It’s easy to use and fits perfectly into a daily routine without extra hassle. I must say it has become a new favorite product for my hair. Nice product
I got to test this product as a Lyko influtester. I really think this product smells good and gives a fresh feeling right upon use. I have dry/damaged lengths with an oily scalp. It doesn't weigh down my fine hair, which is a big plus. I find that I need to use the product a bit longer to see a clear result, but once it gets to work, it makes the hair both soft and easy to style. It has a nice consistency and spreads easily throughout the hair. The packaging is simple but very nice, easy to carry. Extra appreciated is that it also contains heat protection, which makes it both practical and versatile. A lovely product that I would gladly continue to use. Is it worth the price? Doesn't stand out
I have tested Redken's Acidic Bonding Concentrate leave-in treatment. This is a leave-in conditioner that is supposed to repair damaged and colored hair. Overall, it is a good product, but it doesn't stand out from other similar products. The packaging is nice and easy to use. The conditioner has a light creamy consistency and is very economical to use. It has a nice slightly fruity scent. I apply a small amount to towel-dried hair and style as usual. What I like about this is that it doesn't weigh the hair down, but tames frizz and gives shiny hair without looking greasy. The hair feels healthy and strong and is soft and easy to comb through. My hair is fine and Nordic and has some wear and tear after a lot of coloring and bleaching, so good conditioner products are essential for my hair, especially now that it's cold. This definitely does the job, and I really like that it also has heat-protective properties. I have been tasked by Lyko to give a review on Redken's Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave In Treatment. Lucky for me, this is a product I have already used on and off since it was launched, so I have had plenty of time to form some opinions about the product. A bit about my hair: - nordic hair type - natural waves/fall in the hair - color-treated - exposed to a lot of heat tool usage - long, and prone to split ends The product comes in a handy squeeze tube, so you get the desired amount without wasting product. Has the same scent as the rest of the Acidic Bonding series, a bit tangy. Light lotion consistency, and easy to distribute in the hair. I would recommend sectioning the hair so you get optimal effect. The product promises to repair the hair from the cuticle to the cortex, ultimate repair and intense care. Important to note that you should ideally use the entire series with shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask in addition to the leave in treatment to get the full effect Redken refers to in their ads. I feel the hair becomes stronger and more resilient, but you have to use it consistently and over a longer period. I don't quite like the feeling in the hair after use. I find that it becomes a bit "dull" so I use a hair oil over it at the end once the product has had time to work, so that the hair feels smooth after use. I have been so lucky to test this, and as someone with fine, Nordic, and bleached hair that easily breaks, I was both excited and a bit skeptical🙈 Products that promise strength and protection can often be too heavy for my hair – but this surprised me positively✨ The consistency is lightly creamy and distributes evenly without making the hair greasy or flat, as long as I stick to a small amount in the lengths. The first thing I noticed was how much smoother and less frizzy my hair looked after blow-drying💨 Since I use heat tools almost daily, I really appreciate that it provides high heat protection without feeling like an extra layer in my hair👏🏻 The scent is mild and “salon-like”🌸 and it disappears quickly, which I see as a plus. My hair: Nordic, dry, damaged, worn, fine and thin, not colored/bleached I have been using this leave-in treatment in conjunction with 6 hair washes now and I am very satisfied! I have very damaged hair as I am trying to grow it out longer and use heat styling tools. Usually after blow-drying, the ends are frizzy, dry, and split, even with the use of hair oil, but when I use this, they look surprisingly healthy. What I really like about this compared to other similar products is that the hair doesn't feel greasy or dirty in any way - which allows me to apply it to damaged areas closer to the hair root as well as take enough amount to hit all hair strands. The fact that it is heat protective up to 230 degrees also means that I no longer blow-dry my hair without protection, which feels really good. I have, as #lykoinflutester, tested this leave-in product from #redken on my hair. To start with, the packaging is fantastic! I love holographic, so that's a big plus for it. The texture is creamy, and the product melts easily into the hair. The scent is wonderful, so that's also a plus. However, that's where the good things about the product end. I have tested it both before and after I got my hair cut. It definitely worked better when I got rid of a lot of my over-bleached, color-damaged hair, but considering the price, it unfortunately does too little. This leave-in cream smells very nice in my opinion, quite fresh I would say. The consistency is nice and I find that it is very easy to distribute in my long hair. I also don't think you need to use an excessive amount of product to feel that it is evenly distributed! My hair is quite dry, but I think this cream does a good job of nourishing it. Maybe not as much moisture as I had hoped for, but definitely above expectations! I appreciate that it protects against heat, and after I blow-dried with this, I definitely think my hair stays good from tangles. Fantastic product for damaged hair
I finally got to test this Redken treatment product, and it has been absolutely amazing! The product promises to repair all types of damaged hair, reduce frizz, protect color from fading, and give hair strength. I must say that all the promises were fulfilled. The product's consistency is quite traditional for a conditioner, maybe a bit loose. It was really easy to apply to the hair. I have very tangly hair, and after washing, they are always completely knotted, but after applying this product, they detangled very easily! From this, I already knew that the product was very effective. Also, after drying, the hair is wonderfully soft and doesn't tangle as easily as it normally does. The product's packaging is similar to other Redken packages. It shows that this is a salon-level product. I also like that you can easily get the cream out of the jar, and since it is a tube-like product, you can definitely use every bit of the product, right down to the last drop. The scent of the product didn't evoke any opinions in me one way or the other. A pretty traditional salon product scent. You could say it was quite neutral. However, if you are sensitive to scents, the fragrance might be a bit strong. Overall, I really liked the product a lot! It will definitely stay in my routine, and even though it is quite pricey, I think it is worth the money.
