Difficult to assess the effect after only 4 weeks of use..
I received this exciting hair product for testing as #LYKOINFLUTESTER. This is a strengthening serum from Kérastase that, according to the product description, is supposed to prevent hair loss due to hair breaking. The serum has ingredients that are supposed to make the hair more resilient and minimize hair loss. The serum is supposed to strengthen and care for the naturally protective barrier in the scalp. The serum should be used once daily in the morning or before bedtime. You can apply up to 4 doses to a dry or towel-dried scalp, section by section. 1 dose = 1 pipette to the mark. The serum should be lightly massaged in and not rinsed out. I was super excited to test this serum since after three pregnancies (six years since the last) I have gotten thinning around the hairline on my forehead. Here, the hair grows extremely poorly, and the little that grows gets a maximum of 6 cm long. Exciting to see if this serum could help. I also generally have hair that never gets as long as I want because it breaks and splits easily. I otherwise have medium-length, Nordic, fine hair with slightly bleached ends - otherwise untreated. I’m starting to go gray (I’m 43 years old). These are my thoughts on the product after 3.5 weeks of use: ✅ Lovely container that looks good on the bathroom shelf ✅ Good pipette that makes application easy, doesn’t drip. ✅ The product doesn’t feel sticky on the hands afterwards (even though you should of course wash it off) ✅ The hair doesn’t feel greasy at all when used (I’ve used it in the evening) 🚨 Quite okay scent (but relatively strong). Smells a bit masculine ❌ The bottle is not very economical in use and the price is quite high. I applied 4 doses each time and used up the product in 4 weeks. ❌ No visible results after four weeks. Maybe you need to use it longer to see results (but now the bottle is empty…) I find it difficult to properly assess this product since I feel it should be used over a longer time frame to see any potential results. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KERASTASE1 product in post Difficult to assess the effect after only 4 weeks of use..89707 views - Most helpful negativeThe user's roll: Lyko Creator. As an influencer, I had the honor of testing this product. The packaging: In glass that feels sleek and luxurious with a smart pipette. So pretty with the ombre colors too. The consistency is gel-like and wonderfully cooling. Good consistency as it doesn't run out so easily 👌. It smells so good, both orange/citrus and a bit of woody undertone yum. Very fresh scent. I feel that the scent settles after a while, which I think is good since I have worked in healthcare. Smells mild but not too strong after a few hours. The pipette has a good clear marking for how much to take and is easy to handle 👌. When I apply the serum, I feel fresh. But my hair gets greasy, and I find it stiff/chunky after it dries. I don't like that it gives me such a greasy impression, something I really work to avoid. Even the next day, I find my hair greasier and with a strange slightly stiffer feeling in my hair. Which I don't like. I've been using it for a while now and notice no significant difference in my hair at all. I assume you need to use it longer. But I'm most irritated that my hair feels so greasy after a while within 1 hour of application for me unfortunately. So I think it's a ridiculously expensive product to give me greasier hair and no difference in hair quality, but I assume you need to use it for more than 2 weeks. I'm not that impressed yet, but I get to test it a bit longer to see if it gets better going forward. But I don't like the feeling in my hair after it has been a while. In the beginning, it feels super fresh and good, which then turns into a greasy strange feeling in the hair🙈. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KERASTASE1 product in post Nja93527 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. No significant difference
Not every baby hair is new growth.. Growth is also partly influenced by regular scalp massage when using this product. Very expensive and runs out quite quickly, Veloide or Rapunzel's Hairsyrup are better at half the price. Plus a nice scent and it doesn't grease the hair #lykoreview1 product in post No significant difference181 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 dayHi Laura💛 Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Kérastase Genesis Anti Chute Fortifiant serum. We understand well that you wanted to see a clear difference in hair growth, and it’s true that not every “baby hair” necessarily means new growth – the natural circulation and massage of the scalp also affect the results. It’s also true that the product is quite expensive and is used up relatively quickly. It’s good to note that part of its effect on the scalp is related to the regular massage during application. However, many customers have found that the scent and light texture are pleasant and that the hair doesn’t get greasy during use, which is a big plus 🥰 If you’re looking for alternatives that are more cost-effective but offer similar scalp-strengthening ingredients, the mentioned Veloide or Rapunzel Hair Syrup products can be good options 💕 They often contain similar active ingredients but at a lower price. We really appreciate that you also gave feedback on usability and effects – it helps us and other customers find the products that suit them best 💛1 likes

Pretty okay
My hair has gotten longer but I don't know if it's just because of the product. Unfortunately, it smells super strong and I found that my scalp became more sensitive. I won't be buying it again.1 product in post Pretty okay271 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Good but really not cheap
So the product is super good! I experience both less hair loss and much less itchy scalp. BUT I think it is unreasonably expensive. I use half of the recommended dosage and still have to buy a new bottle every month. Doesn't feel quite fair, so it brings my rating down. It also smells extremely strong of men's perfume 😅 Despite the price, I am currently stuck with this as it is the only thing that helps with my itchy scalp 😬 Is there any other serum that has the same effect on just itchy scalp? I've tried several but so far only this one works for me...1 product in post Good but really not cheap - The post was made 2 weeksRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Wow!!!
I've been using this serum now for 2 months every day, I don't experience my hair getting greasy from the serum. I don't lose a single hair strand in the shower anymore!🚿The gaps I've had in the front are almost gone, experiencing lots of baby hairs and the growth I've gotten!! I was at the hairdresser 2.5 months ago and have never had such growth in such a short time!! I'm obsessed with this serum!🩷🩷1 product in post Wow!!!3422 views- The comment was made 5 daysIt just looks like it has grown 2cm? Hair grows naturally 1cm a month for most people, for some faster..

Dangerous for pets?
I think this works well, but I've heard that you should be careful around your pets, which is why I've become scared to use the product. Is it true that it can be dangerous for dogs to be near the product?1 product in post Dangerous for pets?2653 views- The user's roll: Hairdresser at Lyko. If you follow the recommended use of the product, it should be okay, but I usually still suggest consulting your veterinarian regarding ingredients/substances if it could affect 💕 Wishing you a nice day 🥰

Sticky
I don't like this product as it gives a sticky, greasy, and heavy feeling in the hair. There are marks on the pillow even though the product has been in for several hours, I would not recommend this as it is expensive1 product in post Sticky2534 views - The post was made 3 weeksRating: 5 out of 5
Sometimes you change your mind
I reviewed this a while ago and gave it a very low rating because of the scent and price. Since the product is so expensive, I continued to use it so I wouldn't throw my money away. I am defeated, I didn't want to like this so much but I am really defeated. Just ordered another bottle. Why? It really makes a difference. Aside from the fact that I look like a hedgehog because of the new hair growth, there’s also a bald spot I’ve had since I was 4 years old that has started to grow back. When I was little, I got to whip with the electric mixer in the cake batter and leaned down into the bowl to smell. A strand of my bangs got caught in the mixer and was ripped out. Never got that hair back.. But now! I’ve also tried Loreal Elvital’s Growth Booster which is also good but it’s noticeable liiite more on the scalp, not a greasy feeling but still noticeable. That’s why I’ve chosen to continue with Kerastase. Doesn’t leave the scalp greasy but rather fresher the next day Really makes a difference in hair growth Despite the perfume, not irritating for the scalp Nice packaging - Smells very perfumey but you get used to the scent - Expensive1 product in post Sometimes you change your mind2643 views - The post was made 3 weeksRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
Lovely product!
I have already used 2 jars of this product and I notice a lot of new hair. I love the scent of the product and it spreads easily. Plus for the glass packaging. #lykoreview1 product in post Lovely product!2266 views - The post was made 3 weeksRating: 4 out of 5
Luxury with Results: 4 Weeks with Kérastase Genesis
I have used Kérastase Genesis serum daily for 4 weeks, and I am really excited about the results. First and foremost, the product feels incredibly luxurious – both in scent, consistency, and the way it is applied. The serum is easy to work with, absorbs quickly without feeling heavy or greasy, and makes my hair care routine something I really look forward to. After a few weeks of use, I have noticed a clearly improved growth and generally stronger hair. My hair feels more resilient, while also feeling more well-groomed and healthy. It feels like the serum is really working deep down and not just providing a temporary effect. I have also not experienced any irritation or discomfort – on the contrary, my hair has gained more shine and life, making it a clear favorite in my daily routine. Conclusion: Kérastase Genesis serum lives up to its luxurious reputation while also providing tangible results. I have experienced better growth, stronger hair, and a lovely feeling of care, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for both effectiveness and an exclusive experience in their hair care. Fresh and beautiful, but doesn't reduce hair loss
I have now tested this product for four weeks and had hoped for reduced hair loss, as I have very thin hair and sometimes bald spots at the temples (especially during stressful periods). During these weeks, I see no difference, and there are no signs of new short hair strands that are growing up, so I am skeptical about its effect on hair loss or stronger hair. It smells good and I find it pleasant on the scalp, soothing itchiness. But it is also a bit sticky and feels slightly greasy. Not worth the price in my opinion.
