Requires practice but...
I got to test this beauty from Silk’n in my role as #lykoinflutester and thought I’d share my thoughts. (Warning for long review) Addendum 260118: NOTE! 1.5 YEARS LATER IT HAS STOPPED WORKING. ONLY COLD AIR COMES OUT! My hair is thin, straight, and has no volume on its own. However, freshly cut, so I have tested it with both long and shorter hair. What’s included is: - Hairdryer - Precision nozzle - Round brush for volume - Paddle brush for smooth and shiny hair - "Curlers" with air technology. One for the right and one for the left side. - Storage bag. I love the look and the long rotating cord. As a hairdryer, it is incredibly light. Thoughts on it as a hairdryer: - Love it. Light, handy, and dries my hair super fast even at 70 degrees - It’s quite loud but not louder than my regular hairdryer. - The nozzle itself gets incredibly hot, barely able to touch it when you want to change. This even at 70 degrees. Volume brush: - Yes, it works really well! Easy to get volume and my hair becomes super shiny and nice. Worked both on my long and shorter hair. A bit clunky and a little tricky to get to the back, but I think it’s just a matter of getting used to it. Paddle brush: - I would say this probably suits you better if you have coarser, unruly hair. For my thin hair, it becomes mostly flyaway and a bit too smooth/slippery. Then the bristles don’t really grab my hair, it feels like it just glides over the hair or how I should explain. (Not showing this in the video as it’s redundant for me) Autowrap: - Absolutely fantastic!! I’ve never tested one like this before, but wow how quickly you can get beautiful curls. Also works here for both long and shorter hair. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it, but once you understand how to do it, it’s child’s play! The downside is that the tools get incredibly hot. It doesn’t do much on the wrap and volume brush since there’s a "dutt" you can hold that doesn’t get hot, but the concentrator gets crazy hot - use a towel to take it off. I would have liked to swap the paddle brush for a couple of larger wraps - then this would have gotten a full score! The price is really good. Saw that Lyko had a sale on this and you could buy it for 2362.50:-. Attention this!!
This was a product I was really looking forward to. I have fine and straight hair that goes to about my chin and I always need more volume in my hair. I looked at this for a long time and thought that there are so many different heads that there is surely some joy to be found, and finally the autowrap heads that make it easy and quick to get curls.... Well, here is my experience; 🤩 The round brush head is really big, too big for my own hair 🤩 The paddle brush head - it’s a brush 🤩 The autowrap I was waiting for I can’t use because I have tape extensions, even though it’s real hair🙄 - this was also not mentioned anywhere, only in the instruction manual in the product itself, so it’s worth keeping in mind! 🤩 The cool air button needs to be held down for cool air to come out, but often my finger lifted a little accidentally and it added heat😫 🤩 Price; especially after my experiences 🤩 The product is incredibly loud 🤩 The shape of the product's handle doesn’t seem to fit in my hand for some reason, maybe I just need a bit more practice Well, was there anything good about this? Yes, there certainly was 🤩 Good little nozzle part that can direct the air where you want it 🤩 Stylish black storage So this didn’t bring me the joy I was hoping for, nor did it provide the relief in my daily life that I was really looking forward to and hoping for. I can’t recommend the device, not if you have hair around shoulder length or any kind of hair extensions! An essential would buy again.
An essential would buy again, but now that it is, I’m trying to make use of it. It feels like the device's power isn’t really enough for curling iron attachments. Getting the hair around them takes some effort, and the airflow alone can only catch a very small amount of hair. A bit of a disappointment! The round brush seems to be the best accessory in the package. The product isn’t bad, but it’s not good either. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this.1532 views - The post was made 1 month

Accessories don't stick

Here are some tips to get the best results: Heat: Start on low heat (39-50 °C) and increase as needed. Avoid heating directly on the tape. Keep distance: Style the lengths without directing warm air directly on the tape attachment. Support the attachment: Hold against the root when brushing or curling to avoid pulling on the attachment. Cool shot: Use the cool button to set the curls without extra heat. Right nozzle: The autowrap tubes create nice curls, while the volume brush gives that lovely blow-dry feeling. Heat protection: Use a heat protectant that is safe for extensions, but make sure to avoid the product on the tape surfaces. Incredible!
SO fun to have gotten to test this, I love that you can blow dry, curl, and straighten with the same styling tool! For starters, it’s incredibly beautiful, it feels solid and luxurious, and I love the box it comes in! It’s definitely heavy, so not something you carry around, but a very big bonus that you get a good first impression when you open the package💕 I’ve been wanting an air-wrap for a long time, and I’m so impressed! It feels much gentler on the hair and is relatively easy to work with once you’ve learned the technique😅 I have long and thick hair, and it was no problem for me to take larger sections! I think this is perfect to buy if you often style your hair, it is definitely a bit pricey, but then you really have everything you need💗 It’s quieter than my regular hair dryer, which is a plus. There are also different heat settings that you can easily switch, which is great! I also like the function that you can twist the top part 90 degrees so you can hold it in different ways! This styling tool is really nice and feels luxurious, and I like that you get so many styling options in one tool. It works well once you get the hang of it, but I find it a bit tricky to use at first to get the right technique. Once you learn it, the results are nice, but it takes a bit of patience. As #lykoinflutester I have had the honor of testing a product from #silkn😍And nothing less than Silk’n SilkyAir Flex 5-in-1 😍 Unfortunately, I don’t have any nice video/photo that shows the result, but I will try to describe my review in words after testing this fantastic hair dryer! 😍🥰 A bit about my hair: Dyed, thin, gets curly if I don’t blow-dry or style it but let it air dry, hair is over the shoulders (so medium length). The first reaction was wow - I really wanted to test this hair dryer after my failed attempts with Dyson, which I tried to give a chance. The storage bag that comes with it is very nice - however, it weighs quite a bit, so it can’t be taken in the travel bag, but you simply have to take the hair dryer with all the accessories separately out of the bag. The hair dryer’s accessories, appearance, color (I got a pink one 😍) and the long cord are incredibly good. The result after I have tested it a few times: Pros: - Different accessories provide options to style the hair in various ways - Very easy to work with, and I managed to create different hairstyles with the various accessories, which I couldn’t do when I used Dyson. - Affordable compared to other similar hair dryers with the same function - Heat can be regulated - The cord is long and rotatable Cons: - The accessories get very hot even when using the lowest temperature (you need to be very careful when switching between different accessories) - The storage bag weighs a lot, which means you can’t take it on trips, for example, if you fly In summary, I highly recommend this incredible hair dryer! 😍 Thanks to Lyko and SILK’N 😍🌹1 product in post Love it 😍2565 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. I have been so incredibly lucky to test #silkn like #lykoinflutester ❕ This is truly a 5-in-1 styling tool and everything you need 💕 I was very excited beforehand when I found out that this was going to be tested since I have previously had a Dyson. First, a little about my hair: Nordic, thin, flat; color-treated, hair loss & frizzy. Starting with the packaging: WOW 🩷 It screams luxury and is super practical, and you have space for other hair products in addition to the parts that come with it - with all its pockets ❕ It feels stylish and is nice to have standing out 🩷 The actual styling tool is also beautiful and so practical with all its functions: hair dryer (can turn the tool 90 degrees), curls (right and left attachments), volume & straight hair! You can really style your hair in many ways in no time! With this, hair is NOT exposed to heat damage, as it regulates the temperature if it gets too high with its technology. You can choose between 4 temperature settings and 3 speeds. Additionally, there’s a cool shot function, lock function, memory function, and internal cleaning function. The cord is also long and swivel, which simplifies the process, a big plus ❕ In the box, there are 5 different attachments that you can use while styling 🩷 It feels very user-friendly, BUT be careful when touching the attachments during use as they get very hot. I’m still figuring it out and find that it gets easier each time. When using autowrap, it’s very easy to get the hair on, something I remember struggling with on the Dyson at first. Here you have to remember to use the right attachment in relation to the side of the face you want the curls to lay on. In pictures/videos, I do a simple blowout after the shower. I experience volume, softness, fullness, and straight hair. My hair needs a lot of products to hold the curls, and I didn’t choose that here, but when I use it, I really get beautiful princess curls that hold with this 💕 The hair routine becomes playful and fun with this! All in all, I think this is really a good dupe for my Dyson and it can really be recommended as a budget-friendly alternative 💸 The only thing that takes away a star is that the end pieces get hot.
