Foam?
Hi, should the products become foam in the hair when I spray it in? Shake the bottle and spray lightly over damp or dry hair before heat styling, and if you get a lot of foam, it may be because you are spraying too close or applying too much in the same area. Aren't we always on the hunt for a really good dry shampoo? 🙋♀️ I actually think this dry shampoo stands out a bit – and for three reasons: 🫧 It cleans the hair effectively without leaving it rough or stiff. You know that horrible feeling? Yuck! 😅 🌺 It smells really good and gives a fresh feeling to the hair. 💁♀️ It gives nice volume and makes the hair feel fuller and more styled. The only thing I find less good is the price 💸 – it’s quite expensive for a dry shampoo. My hair is curly, frizzy, and overall pretty hard to tame. I find that products promising moisture protection usually work... meh, kind of. This one smells GREAT. Love Amika’s scents, luxurious salon feel that stays in the hair for a while. If you’re sensitive to scents, this is not for you. When you spray it in, the hair gets a bit wet but it dries quickly, so I find it easiest to spray when the hair is slightly damp, before blow-drying. The effect is okay. I have truly been impressed by Amika The Shield Anti-Humidity Spray! This is the kind of product I find especially interesting if your hair easily gets frizzy as soon as you go outside and face humid air. 😭🤍 I really like that it’s so easy to use. I shake the bottle and lightly spray over damp or dry hair before heat styling. So it can be used both before blow-drying and styling with heat tools. ✨ The best part is the feeling afterwards. The hair feels smoother, softer, and more controlled, while still feeling airy. I hate when anti-frizz products make hair heavy or stiff, and here I really feel the result is much more natural. The product is supposed to protect hair from heat up to 230 °C and help keep frizz away for over 24 hours, even when humidity tries to ruin the hairstyle. 😂🛡️ I also like that it contains sea buckthorn, hydrolyzed keratin, and polyquaternium-59, where the latter also provides UV protection. It’s also color-preserving and suitable for all hair types. 🌿✨ And the SCENT! 😭🌸 I really think it smells so good. It’s almost the kind of hair product where I catch myself wanting to use a little extra just to enjoy the scent. I also appreciate that it works well for fine hair. Several users on Lyko highlight that it works well on fine and frizzy hair and that the hair still feels light after use. However, I think you should be a bit careful with the amount. Does this styling product contain silicones that cannot be completely washed out with a sulfate-free shampoo? (I use Maria Nila Pure Volume) I'm not very knowledgeable in this area.
