Perfect for natural beachwaves! This was the first time I tested a saltwater spray, and By Lyko Wave Crave really exceeded my expectations! It gave my hair a lovely texture and natural beachwaves without feeling rough or sticky. I love how easy it is to use, just spray in towel-dried hair and let it air dry or style with a blow dryer for extra volume. The scent is also super fresh, and my hair still feels soft despite getting that nice tousled look. Perfect for days when you want a relaxed but styled look. Doesn't work for me
First a little about my hair. I have a mix of my mom's straight Swedish hair and a bit thinner hair and my dad's thick and curly Persian hair. So I have self-curly hair (2b-2c) but it's a bit thinner. I rarely or never use a curling iron and usually just use a diffuser. My hair can easily feel heavy from too many or the wrong products. I recently tried Lyko's Wave crave Salt Water Spray and unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. The scent is amazing and it feels like a real summer vibe when you use it. But unfortunately, it doesn't work at all for my hair. After application, I feel that my hair becomes heavy and separated, which gives a stripy appearance. It also feels sticky and heavy, which is not what I'm looking for when I want a saltwater spray. I wish it could give my hair a more natural and wavy look, but unfortunately, it doesn't work for my needs. Awesome saltwater spray
I had the honor of testing hair care products from By Lyko. Awesome products for the hair! I tried By Lyko wave crave and I must say it’s the best saltwater spray I’ve ever tried. I have naturally straight hair and unfortunately can’t get my own beach waves despite using saltwater spray, so unfortunately I can’t say it made any difference there. But I have very smooth hair which means I need texture in my hair to make the curls hold when I curl my hair. I’ve had a hard time finding one that works for this since none have made it hold properly until now. I spray this in wet hair. I blow-dry my hair and then curl it. I finish with a bit of hairspray and the curls last for several days! I’m super impressed with how this saltwater spray gives so much texture to the hair that the styling can last for several days! Surely great!
Oh, how I wished this would become my go-to product! But I can't get it to work. I have tested various saltwater sprays for many years because I really want something that helps my curls become that effortless & beachy. And this does that to some extent. But unfortunately, I experience with this exactly what I don't like in other saltwater sprays, that the hair becomes rough and stripy, and I can't handle that. So this didn't become my product. I probably have to put the whole idea of saltwater spray on the shelf 😅 But otherwise, I think the bottle is good, good size & the spray function is really great. The scent is fresh. Pretty okay.
I have once again received the incredibly nice task of testing products like #LYKOINFLUTESTER and this time products from #BYLYKO Here comes my review of Wave Crave Saltwater Spray. My hair is naturally curly, thick, frizzy. I prefer products that enhance the curls but don’t weigh them down. This spray comes in a nice little bottle with a pump. The pump sprays just the right amount of product. Smells mild and quite okay. Creates pretty okay curls, like you’ve just been hanging at the beach. But it also feels exactly like that, like you’ve just been hanging at the beach. The hair feels rough and unwashed from this spray. Okay, it is a saltwater spray, so maybe that’s not so strange. But unfortunately, that feeling isn’t my thing, which brings it down a bit unfortunately. And this feels a little more.... sticky?Translated from swedish

As a #lykoinflutester, I’ve had the honor of testing 3 upgraded products from #bylyko Pretty beach-waves? Yes please! Playful volume in my hair? Yes please! But is this product perfect for my hair? Naa.. I have thick Scandinavian hair that is like a LION MAN. (Hairdressers even comment that I have thick hair for being Swedish😅) it’s naturally curly and dyed. That’s why I love using products that make my curls feel good! But since my hair tends to get frizzy very easily, it’s hard to find products for it. Saltwater spray is truly a fantastic invention! But for my hair, no no no..the salt dries my hair out incredibly. Plus, living by the sea doesn’t make it any better unfortunately. So this product will stay in my bathroom cabinet, but my partner gets to “inherit” it from me since his hair looks SOOOOO GOOD after using saltwater spray 😍 he’s even almost stolen it from me already. Positively Surprised
I have tested this saltwater spray for a few weeks and I am positively surprised!✨️ However, this is the first time I am using saltwater spray in my hair, which means I have nothing else to compare it to. My hair is typically Scandinavian, meaning thin but with many hair strands. Wow! What volume!
#bylyko does it again! I have long been eager to try a sea salt spray but haven't done it, and now I got the chance to test three lovely hair products from Lyko's own brand. The packaging is a delight for the eyes with colorful 80s vibes and smells like candy 🍬. All three products are incredibly affordable. Here comes my review of their sea salt spray. I have never used sea salt spray before and had to google a bit. Apparently, it’s perfect when you do heatless curls, could be the reason why my curls never hold, I simply missed this spray! The spray can also be used as hairspray if you want a slightly softer result. It also works well to prep the hair with this before styling as it gives a salty texture. 🤩I sprayed generously on damp hair and blow-dried with a round brush, and wow wow what fluffy hair I got! The hairstyle also held after a night’s sleep. 🤗The spray smells a lot. I can’t decide if I like the scent or not. 🙁 The hair becomes easily tangled and rough. That’s the point, but I don’t know if it’s really for me. Why would you want to spray freshly washed hair with salt? I think this is a budget-friendly alternative to more expensive brands. Gives Hold and Texture
An appealing saltwater spray in a green, nice spray bottle. The text on is clear, and I love the scent. It brings my thoughts to a sunny summer day. I have long hair that needs dry lengths. I have tested this mostly at the front in the bangs and at the hair roots to get a bit of volume from there. The spray has worked well, it gives a nice mist that is sometimes a bit uneven. I normally do not dry my hair with heat but feel that without a blow dryer, the product left a slightly sticky feeling. So you can experiment both with using it in towel-dried hair or in dry hair and with or without a blow dryer afterwards. The result gives texture and a roughness in the hair, exactly the effect you use it for! 😁 It contains caring ingredients: several different hair peptides quite high up in the ingredient list. They penetrate the hair and work to repair. The sunflower oil in the product is moisturizing for the hair. Despite that, I find the spray to be drying, and this type of spray is supposed to give a rough feeling and is normally drying. So nothing strange about that. It is mainly the salt and the alcohol that are in it that are drying to the hair. Unfortunately, there are also several perfumes already halfway through the INCI list, which is additionally drying for the hair. So it smells very good, but it unfortunately has an extra negative side effect on the hair unnecessarily. So it is a reasonably priced saltwater spray that gives texture and hold in the hair. Lovely scent!
I love the packaging, I love everything about the color green at the moment 👏 It's a good bottle with a clear description on it. Has a good spray function and smells incredibly good! I think it adds texture to the hair and highlights some of my small natural waves. Easy to work in and just as easy to brush out. When I applied the product to towel-dried hair and let it air dry, the waves were a bit more visible than just applying it to dry hair. My hair right now is extra dry, colored a couple of years ago and simply needs a little extra love. Has a good price and you get a lot in the packaging!
