    Lovely shampoo

    I have also received this shampoo from the brand #KERASTASE to test as a #LYKOTESTPILOT. Very fun test since Kerastase is one of my absolute favorite brands in hair care🤩 The shampoo lathers very well, and you really don't need much product per wash. Economical product! I always shampoo my hair at least 2 times to get it really clean and fresh🧖‍♀️ Kerastase always has such nice and luxurious packaging✨ Pink is also my favorite color, which makes this product line extra pretty in my eyes🧷 However, the caps for both the shampoo and conditioner are a bit tricky to screw back on when you're in the shower with wet and slippery hands. The scent is luxurious and fresh in the shampoo, and the scent lingers even after the shower. However, I sometimes find it a bit too strong, so maybe not for the most sensitive. My hair feels soft, smooth, and fresh after use. To know if it helps against hair loss, you probably need to use it for a longer time, but I will continue to use it and see if I notice anything. My hair stays clean for a long time with this shampoo, I also experience🌸

    Terrible smell

    Smells just like mosquito repellent, and my hair smells very strongly after washing until the next wash, when the smell intensifies again. THIS SMELL IS AWFUL. If you're sensitive to scents like I am, you should definitely skip this. My hair breaks just as much during washing and afterwards. I haven't noticed any effect on hair loss/breakage 😔 but I will use this up because it was the most expensive shampoo and conditioner of my life. My hair looks wonderfully clean and voluminous when washed with this.

The shampoo is developed for fine to normal hair with a tendency to hair loss caused by hair strands breaking. It strengthens the hair fiber and can help reduce the feeling of hair loss when brushing. The formula is mild but effectively cleansing and helps to remove excess oil in the scalp, making the hair feel fresh without becoming heavy. For you whose hair quickly becomes oily, this could therefore be an extra good choice ✨ Hope you like it!

      Hello! 💗 Kérastase Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant does not contain classic proteins (like keratin or wheat protein), but strengthens the hair with peptides, ginger, and edelweiss extract. It is therefore not considered a "protein shampoo", but still provides strength and reduces hair loss due to breakage! Take care!💗🙏🏼

    I've been using the entire Genesis line for a while now and my hair is so much nicer. My hair doesn't break, it doesn't fall out, and it maintains a really nice shine 🫶🏽 Truly worth the money!

    Naturally dry but not damaged hair

    My hair is naturally on the dry side, but not damaged. Does this suit me? Repairing products often contain too much protein, which causes my hair to become too stiff and break.

    The shampoo makes the hair dry, and it gets greasy very quickly

    I bought the product some time ago and have used this shampoo 2 times a week. I noticed that it dries out the hair extremely much just by putting it in the hair, it gets really «dehydrated». And not only that, it gets just as greasy as it was before I showered the next day (in some cases the same day). I actually like Kerastase, but unfortunately this one is really not worth it.

    Pretty okay and gives a very nice shine

    I’m glad I got to test this product as part of the Lyko Test Pilot program, in exchange for an honest review❤️ First impression: The packaging has a nice color that gives a luxurious impression. The scent is strong. Experience: Already at the first wash, I noticed that the shampoo is very concentrated – a small amount goes a long way and it lathers abundantly. My hair feels clean without becoming rough. My hair type: My hair is treated and colored, porous and dry. I wash my hair about once a week to avoid wear. Result: After washing, my hair feels clean and shiny. The scent is strong and lingers for a long time. However, I haven’t noticed any difference in strength or reduced hair loss, but as a cleansing and shine-giving shampoo, it works well. Pros: • Luxurious packaging • Concentrated and lathers abundantly • Gives shine Cons: • Very strong scent that can be perceived as a cleaning product • No noticeable difference in hair loss or hair quality #lykotestpilot #kerastase #genesisbainhydrafortifiant

    Mediocre shampoo

    Kerastase shampoo Genesis Bain Hydra Fortifiant Shampoo is a strengthening shampoo that protects weakened hair prone to hair loss. Contains a unique blend of ingredients that reduce hair loss. During periods of significant hair loss, the product from Kérastase strengthens the hair follicle and thus reduces the risk of hair falling out. The formulation soothes and reduces itching by strengthening the naturally protective barrier of the scalp. I have been trying this shampoo for 3-4 weeks now. I have medium-length blonde hair with light highlights. The hair strands tend to break easily. I hoped to achieve improved hair quality with less hair loss and broken hair strands. The first wash with the shampoo was not a success. The hair felt hard and tangled. This improved after several washes and regular use of the shampoo. I also had some itching and a sensitive scalp. After two weeks, the itching decreased. After 3-4 weeks, there is little tenderness and itching. It will be exciting to see after a full “treatment” of six to eight weeks if the shampoo can reduce hair loss/ broken hair strands. [hashtag] [hashtag]

    Holds what it promises!

    I have had the honor of being #lykotestpilot and received Shampoo, Conditioner, and Serum from #kerastase in their Genesis Series 🌸 Finding a hair care line that both prevents hair loss and simultaneously cares for the hair deeply is a challenge, but Kérastase Genesis has truly impressed me. 🤩 As a breastfeeding new mom, I have experienced increased hair loss, something many can relate to, but after using the entire line – shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in serum – I have noticed a clear difference. My hair feels stronger and healthier🌸 Kérastase Genesis shampoo is a real hero when it comes to strengthening and caring for the hair. Already after the first few weeks, I saw less hair in the brush and in the shower, which gave a reassuring feeling that the product actually lives up to its promise🌸 The shampoo smells wonderful and cleanses deeply, while the hair stays fresh and clean long after washing – perfect for a hectic everyday life. 🫧 However, I do find that the shampoo can leave the hair a bit rough right after rinsing, which makes me want to complement it with a moisturizing hair mask for extra softness. Additionally, the product is incredibly economical, which means the bottle lasts a long time. ✨ The scent is elegant and a bit more on the masculine side than I expected – a sophisticated, almost unisex character that feels modern.     Delicious shampoo!

    I have been so lucky to be #lykotestpilot for #kerastase's genesis series, both shampoo, conditioner, and the serum. I love the shampoo and conditioner, they don't weigh down my Nordic fine hair and smell amazing. I've only used them for a little over 2 weeks (received the products a bit late compared to the review deadline), so I can't give a full assessment on whether it has helped with hair loss. But I can definitely say that I will buy the products again when I run out 🩷 The combination of the products feels very delicious, and I will definitely come with an updated review eventually 😍 I don't give the products full score on the star scale due to the price as they are quite pricey products and I still can't assess whether they are worth it in terms of purpose ☺️ #lykoreview

Use:
Wet hair then remove excess water before applying a quarter-sized amount of shampoo to the hair. Add water and emulsify. Focus this first wash on the scalp using finger tips to massage the scalp and remove impurities. Rinse thoroughly. Apply a second quarter-sized amount of shampoo and add water. The second lather will produce a more abundant foam which will help cleanse lengths all the way to the ends. Rinse thoroughly.
