Lovely shampoo
I have also received this shampoo from the brand #KERASTASE to test as a #LYKOTESTPILOT. Very fun test since Kerastase is one of my absolute favorite brands in hair care🤩 The shampoo lathers very well, and you really don't need much product per wash. Economical product! I always shampoo my hair at least 2 times to get it really clean and fresh🧖♀️ Kerastase always has such nice and luxurious packaging✨ Pink is also my favorite color, which makes this product line extra pretty in my eyes🧷 However, the caps for both the shampoo and conditioner are a bit tricky to screw back on when you're in the shower with wet and slippery hands. The scent is luxurious and fresh in the shampoo, and the scent lingers even after the shower. However, I sometimes find it a bit too strong, so maybe not for the most sensitive. My hair feels soft, smooth, and fresh after use. To know if it helps against hair loss, you probably need to use it for a longer time, but I will continue to use it and see if I notice anything. Terrible smell
Smells just like mosquito repellent, and my hair smells very strongly after washing until the next wash, when the smell intensifies again. THIS SMELL IS AWFUL. If you're sensitive to scents like I am, you should definitely skip this. My hair breaks just as much during washing and afterwards. I haven't noticed any effect on hair loss/breakage 😔 but I will use this up because it was the most expensive shampoo and conditioner of my life. 🩷 Kérastase Genesis shampoo I have really gotten hooked on this shampoo! It lathers up well and you only need to use a small amount each time, which makes the bottle feel very economical. I usually shampoo my hair twice because I think it gets the cleanest and freshest that way. 🫧 And how beautiful are Kérastase's packaging? ✨ I really love the luxurious look, and since pink is my favorite color, this series looks extra nice on the bathroom shelf. 🩷 One small downside, however, is the caps. When you're standing in the shower with wet hands, it can be a bit tricky to get the cap back on properly. The scent is very fresh and feels luxurious. It also stays in the hair for a good while after the shower. Personally, I sometimes find the scent a bit intense, so if you're sensitive to strong fragrances, it might be good to keep that in mind. After washing, the hair feels soft, smooth, and clean, and I also think it stays fresh for a long time. 🌸 Regarding hair loss, it's a bit too early for me to say if I notice any difference. I think you need to use the products regularly over a longer period to properly assess the results. Therefore, I will continue to use the series and see how my hair develops. Helps with hair loss😍
I always used typical “cheap shampoo,” and I also lost quite a lot of hair. I noticed that as soon as I switched to the Kerastase Genesis series, I had much less hair loss, and my hair felt both healthier and stronger. It also smells really good. Disappointed
I find that the shampoo makes my scalp oily. Previously, I only needed to wash my hair every 3-4 days, but now my scalp gets oily already after 24 hours and my hair feels heavy and stringy. I also don’t like the bottle; it has a twist cap which makes it hard to hold and keep the shampoo out while trying to screw the cap back on. Use:
Wet hair then remove excess water before applying a quarter-sized amount of shampoo to the hair. Add water and emulsify. Focus this first wash on the scalp using finger tips to massage the scalp and remove impurities. Rinse thoroughly. Apply a second quarter-sized amount of shampoo and add water. The second lather will produce a more abundant foam which will help cleanse lengths all the way to the ends. Rinse thoroughly.
