Surprised
I have thick hair that curls sometimes, I dye and bleach it a couple of times a year. So itās a lot to deal with. I have had the opportunity as #lykoinflutester to test products from #kevinmurphy, including this shampoo. I have used this shampoo a number of times now, and I am very positively surprised. I had freshly dyed hair when I started using this product. Considering how the water looks when I rinse out the product, I expected a lot of color to have disappeared, but I think the color has been preserved very well. I havenāt experienced that with other shampoos. A bit unusual (for me) packaging, but convenient to use. My hair feels soft and nice when itās dry. I recommend others with colored hair to try this shampoo. I donāt like the scent, but luckily it doesnāt linger in the hair long after washing. (Unmade-up picture is freshly dyed hair, the other after a number of washes. However, itās not the same light, so it may look like thereās a bigger difference than there is "live".72 views - Most helpful negativeThe post was made 2 weeksRating: 1 out of 5Verifierad testare
No, no... Not good. š
The third and final product to review from the Kevin Murphy products is the shampoo. āŗļø About my hair: Thick (many hair strands), curly, a tendency to be dry, and many years ago, also colored. I usually occasionally use color-preserving shampoos. But mostly shampoos that fall under the categories of āmoistureā and āhydrate.ā And I actually canāt see any difference in the results on my colored hair when I use color-preserving or hydrate shampoo. And the same goes for this. I donāt see that it would give a more color-preserving result on my hair than when I use other shampoos. Now I color my roots as often as every three weeks. So maybe thatās why it doesnāt show any greater results from being color-preserving when Iām adding new color at such close intervals? š¤·š»āāļø And then to this with my hair having a tendency to be dry (which curly hair often is)... Now this shampoo isnāt specifically tailored for dry hair, nor does it promise to be hydrating in any way. But that it makes the hair drier??!! Yes, that was exactly what my hair experienced. The hair becomes tangled, dry, and it was not good at all for my hair type. š© And then we come to this with the scent. š¬ The conditioner I tested in the same series had a scent that wasnāt so good. The shampoo smelled stronger. And not good at all. Like an incredibly strong menās perfume. And unfortunately, the scent lingers in the hair for several days. So now I can be sure that color-preserving shampoos do not suit my hair, even though my hair is colored. But that my hair exclusively needs hydrating shampoos. So for me and my hair, this was in no way a hit. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KEVINMURPHY531 views- The comment was made 2 weeksI will keep this in mind to not have it on my shopping list. āļø I need to have good shampoo, the air here is dry. However, I only use Korean brands. ElliR is one of the people I know. She loves La'dor, it is absolutely fantastic. š©·š·šāØ Really nice review, dear Lina1 likes

Lyko Influtester
As part of the Lyko Influtester, I got to try this Kevin Murphy Everlasting Colour Wash. The shampoo has a creamy consistency, but it feels a bit thin and watery when applied to the hair, and it doesn't lather much. The scent is light, but also a bit synthetic and fades quickly. Unfortunately, it didn't do anything wild for my hair. I'm used to having my hair colored and usually use Elvital Color Vive Shampoo, and honestly, I didn't notice a big difference. My hair didn't feel particularly soft after washing, but a bit frizzy and lacking shine, especially at the ends. Kevin Murphy Everlasting.Colour Wash might work fine for some, but for me, it didn't live up to the expectations of color protection and nourishing effect. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KEVINMURPHY58 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Everlasting Color Wash
This shampoo came at the perfect time. The same day I colored my hair at the salon, this showed up in the mailbox. I often feel that the brown color gets a bit dull and boring after a while, and suddenly it looks very orange. I have used purple/blue shampoo to tone it down before, but to really test this one, I have only used this series the past few weeks. I think it works well! The hair color has held surprisingly well, and I even think the cool tone has stayed better. Very impressed in that regard. The only downside is the smell. It smells quite strong of something that reminds me of a men's cologne. Despite the lather and the hair feeling clean, the smell is a bit of a drawback here, but overall a very good shampoo. #kevinmurphy #lykoinflutester56 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Everlasting.Colour Wash 250 ml
As #lykoinflutester, I received shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask from #kevinmurphy this time. They come in practical bottles for shampoo and conditioner, and a pump bottle for the hair mask. I've wanted to try products from #kevinmurphy for a while now, they've been all over social media. The scent of the products is a bit unusual, maybe just unfamiliar. But I think it smells a bit more like men's products. I had recently dyed my hair, so the products really showed their effect. The shampoo lathers well and the hair feels clean, but a bit tired. The product does the job, but I don't feel any wow factor.37 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 1 weekRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Delicious shampooš¦
I have been so lucky to test the series from Kevin Murphy and this delicious shampoo! It has a great design and a practical open/close function. This is the shampoo for you if you want to bring life to your colored hair!!! ššš It takes very little product to cleanse and wash the hair well with this shampoo. It lathers well already with just adding a small pea-sized amount. My hair is naturally smooth, dry, damaged, and "dull", but after using this series designed for colored hair, I have quickly regained the shine as if I just came from the hairdresserš I was recently asked if I had just been to the hairdresser, and itās almost exactly 1 year since I last wentš¤ Fun! The only thing I have to deduct a bit on the rating is the smell. It has a quite strong scent, and unfortunately, it leans a bit more towards the masculine side. But itās not so bothersome that I wouldnāt use the product since it has such a good effect on my hairš I have used the shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask together as recommendedāŗļø Highly recommended š„š„š„ #lykoinflutester #kevinmurphy199 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 1 out of 5Verifierad testare
The scent wasn't to my liking
I have been using this shampoo for about three weeks. The first impression was unfortunately quite strong, as the scent is really powerful, musty, and a bit perfume-like. The smell also lingers in the hair for a long time, which wasn't pleasant for my taste. However, the product cleans the hair well. I wash my hair twice in a row, and it felt a bit drying. I have a sensitive scalp that dries out easily, especially in winter, but fortunately, this didn't cause any irritation, which I was a bit afraid of due to the strong scent. The shampoo promises to give hair shine, and it certainly does, the hair looks smooth and a bit shinier after washing. However, I didn't notice any particularly distinctive effect compared to other shampoos. I wash my hair every other day, and it felt like it got greasy faster in connection with use. This product worked okay, but I probably wouldn't buy it myself, especially since the price is quite high. Without the strong scent, the feeling would have definitely been more neutral. The product is economical, though I have fine hair. #lykoinflutester #kevinmurphy51 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Good but not the best
I have been testing some products from #lykoinflutester for a few weeks on assignment as #kevinmurphy š¤ This shampoo is part of the Everlasting.colour series, which consists of moisturizing and color-preserving products. According to the description, it should also counteract damage from hard water, which suits me as I live in the countryside. However, I mostly have natural hair color (Iām in the process of growing it out), so Iām unfortunately not the right person to judge that particular property. My first impression of the shampoo is that it feels luxurious and professional, as always with Kevin Murphy's products. The packaging is sleek and nice, but I think many of the colors on the packaging are a bit tricky if Iām being honest š I wonāt let that affect the rating, but it does affect whether I personally would buy it again or not... and I definitely donāt want anything ill-orange in my cozy shower corner (haha). Sorry! Other than that, I have no remarks, the impression of the product itself is positive and I like the scent. Itās mild and natural, smells a bit like a sauna (birch!?), suitable for those who donāt want anything perfumed. My experience with the use is that it cleans excellently, possibly a bit less lather than I would have liked, but thatās a matter of taste. All of Kevin Murphy's products are sulfate-free (to my knowledge), so itās probably a bit like that, pros and cons simply! Iām satisfied with the result, my hair feels clean and moisturized as promised. Whether it preserves color well or poorly, I canāt really determine, I have a bit of a hard time commenting on how it handles hard water as well in such a short time. My assessment is, in any case, that itās a good shampoo, and that Kevin Murphy is a safe and reliable brand. After a couple of weeks of use, I do feel that my hair has become a bit more static, I think my hair might need even more moisture than this, I usually focus on products/lines with a lot of moisture. Since Everlasting.colour is primarily marketed as a color-preserving shampoo, I think itās a bit neglected, but it is still described as moisturizing, and therefore I think Iāll lower the rating to a 3. I would recommend this shampoo to someone who is primarily looking for a gentle but effective cleansing for colored hair, and who wants sulfate-free products with mild scents.44 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 1 out of 5Verifierad testare
Everlasting.Colour Wash
I was given the chance to test this #kevinmurphy shampoo, and here are my thoughts after a couple of weeks of trying it out. For background, my hair is a bit dry at the ends, and I wash my hair 2 times a week. I donāt dye my hair, so unfortunately, I canāt assess the shampooās effect on color longevity in the hair. I have to admit that Iām not a fan of this shampoo bottle. Itās hard to keep it in the shower so that the product doesnāt run out when washing my hair. The bottle has to be placed on its side (if it fits) or the cap has to be closed, which makes the hair washing routine a bit more cumbersome and clumsy. With wet hands, I can only open this cap by using my teeth (which I donāt recommend) because the cap is extremely tight, so Iād prefer to just leave it openš¤ I canāt really describe the scent of the shampoo; itās not the most pleasant scent. Nowadays, there are so many fresh shampoo scents, and this one doesnāt quite reach the same level. This shampoo makes my hair feel dry. You can notice the dryness right away in the shower when the shampoo has been rinsed out. The hair also gets more tangled. Unfortunately, this shampoo did not meet my expectations. #lykoinflutester208 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Like the scent
I have tested Everlasting colour wash from Kevin Murphy. My hair is typically Nordic with fine strands. And after a lot of coloring, it needs a lot of care and moisture to not look like a crow's nest. Therefore, I was very excited to test this shampoo. I like the packaging, but after opening it, the color didnāt quite match the scent in my opinion. The scent gives associations to spa, sauna, dark wood with a hint of tar, and would probably fit better with earth tones on the bottle. I shampooed my hair twice as recommended. The product was easy to distribute and foamed well. The hair felt clean and cared for and looked healthy and shiny. All in all, I would say this is a good shampoo, but I canāt quite see that it stands out from completely ordinary shampoos. The scent is good, and I like that it lingers a bit in the hair. #lykoinflutester #kevinmurphy29 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 1 weekRating: 2 out of 5Verifierad testare
Did nothing for my hair š„ŗ
I was so lucky to receive Kevin Murphy Everlasting.Colour Wash to test it out as #lykoinflutester š§” I have medium-length, damaged, and colored hair - which suffers a lot in the winter. So I was very excited about this series from Kevin Murphy. I wash my hair about 2 times a week. I have been using this shampoo and conditioner from the same series, plus a hair mask from Kevin Murphy for the last 4 weeks. This shampoo is supposedly very good if you have color-treated hair, like I do. It is supposed to be pH-balanced, gently cleansing the hair, helping to preserve the color, providing nourishment and moisture, while also protecting the hair and giving lots of shine. The first impression is that the packaging is cool. I like that the opening is at the bottom of the bottle, making it easy to get everything out when it starts to get empty. The consistency is like most shampoos. The scent, however, Iām not a fan of. I think it smells a bit like menās perfume, and actually of all the products Iāve tested from Kevin Murphy. Fortunately, the scent doesnāt linger in the hair when itās dry šš» I always double cleanse with shampoo - that I go in with shampoo twice. To be sure that the hair gets clean. The shampoo is economical in use, you donāt need much to wash the hair. It lathers well after the second application, which is very good. My hair after washing, however, Iām not very impressed with. For this series to give lots of moisture and shine to the hair, I feel like it had almost the opposite effect on my hair. Itās been a long time since Iāve felt so dull and dry in my hair as I have since I started with this series. It may well be that it has worked very well to preserve the color in my hair and make it clean. But I have to say thatās all this has done for my hair š« Iāve almost been looking forward to this testing period to be over so I can go back to my regular hair products. Because I miss having soft, shiny, and hydrated hair. Iāve also noticed that the styling I do with my hair after washing (with my Dyson Airwrap) falls out very quickly - which is probably because my hair lacks moisture. It may also be that my hair type is not the best for this series. I can imagine that those with very naturally straight and smooth hair will like this. It may also be that this works better with another hair treatment. So I will try to experiment a bit to see if I like it better then. But for now, Iām not very impressed. Especially considering the price! I think many cheaper brands have better shampoos for preserving color in hair AND making it soft and shiny š„¹ #kevinmurphy336 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Gives me nothing but clean hair
I have now tested Kevin Murphy's Everlasting Colour shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks, and I must say I am disappointed. The product promises to provide nourishment and moisture, but I do not experience that. For reference, I normally have hair that is now colored to get rid of previous bleaching. First of all, I find the packaging a bit difficult - the bottle is very hard, and it is hard to get the product out of it. There is also a lot of product left in the bottle that you can't get out when it is "empty". The scent is also nothing to brag about. It is very strong and reminds me of an overly concentrated men's perfume. The shampoo lathers well and removes dirt, so the hair feels clean afterward. However, I find my hair harder to comb and more tangled after washing than with my usual shampoos. Whether the product holds what it promises regarding color retention is a bit hard to say; I haven't noticed anything about this. All in all, this is not a shampoo I will buy again. My hair feels way too dry and is hard to work with. I have to soak my hair in conditioner and hair mask while I use up the product over the next few weeks. #kevinmurphy #lykoinflutester54 views
