L’Oréal Paris – Magic CC Cream Anti-Redness x Smartson 🪄
Magic in a tube? Unfortunately not for me 💯. I love this type of tube with a narrow tip – easy and nice to apply. What stands out about the product for me is the green color, which melts on the skin and is supposed to transform into "your own skin tone" 🧟♀️🪄. However, I was disappointed by this step! I am very pale and neutral – no matter how much I work the product in, the shade still ends up a bit too dark/orange and not quite my own skin tone. 😩 If you are as pale as I am, my tip is to test it in-store before buying! But if you have a bit of color in your skin tone, it probably suits you better 💛 SCENT: Sharp and somewhat generic perfume scent (would have preferred unscented). The texture is thin and smooth, easy to work with and not greasy. Dries quickly to a powdery soft-focus finish. Redness is toned down, but it doesn’t cover my purple/brown acne scars as well. Since the shade is too dark/orange for me, I need my usual CC Cream on top – making this an unnecessary step. Wonderful!
When you find a cream that covers well but at the same time doesn’t feel sticky or have the wrong shade. One that doesn’t hide my beloved summer freckles. I feel super fresh when I wear it. Definitely a new favorite that really gives an amazing glow. Not good..
Have tested this product a few times now. But end up equally dissatisfied every time. It is chalk white and still chalk white after applying it to the face. Almost looks like you applied sunscreen. It then changes color but does not suit my own skin tone at all, does not cover, unfortunately does not remove redness as promised. Looks completely powdery on the face afterwards and does not have a nice finish at all. I have tried L’Oréal Paris Magic CC Cream 1 Anti Redness and like how it evens out the skin tone and reduces redness without feeling heavy. The result is natural and fresh, perfect for everyday use. For me with rosacea, this cream covers redness relatively well. I like a product that still lets the skin show through so it still looks natural. However, I found the scent incredibly strong, and I mostly avoid perfumed products as they further irritate the skin. For those who don’t have sensitive skin, I think the product would suit much better! However, I wouldn’t buy it again myself. This one turns super yellow, almost orange. I have a neutral skin tone with some pinkish undertones. CC cream that does what it should
I had forgotten that this existed on the market until I tried it again. I definitely think it does what it is supposed to do. It applies nicely to the skin and reduces redness and uneven skin tone. It gives a nice color that is quite close to your natural skin tone. For me, it becomes a little browner, but now in the summer it matches perfectly.
