Requires Patience
Was sooooo excited to try this icy gorgeous blush in such a pretty winter pink color! It's often a plus when a blush is lightly pigmented so you can build it up yourself, but that was quite a lot of building 🥸 This one is very lightly pigmented and you have to work on it for a long time. Still, I feel like it gave very little color. Not very impressed, which is a bummer since I LOVE both the bronzer and highlighter in the same series. The new packaging from Make Up Store is really luxurious! Seems to be really good quality and I love the design. Easy to open even with nails, has a mirror and a nice pattern in the product itself. Nice packaging doesn't make up for the product, though. True Pink Indeed!
Perhaps the best cosmetics news of the year was Make Up Store's comeback! I've loved Make Up Store products since my teenage years, and I can still trust them. Natural touch☃️💗
I love that this is a hybrid of powder and cream. I can never really decide what I prefer between the two. I've also caught myself applying a layer of cream and then a layer of powder - so this feels just right! Usually, I choose a darker tone blush, but this time I decided to go for a lighter, cooler tone - frosted pink💗 I thought. It wasn't quite as cool light pink as I hoped and thought. But nice color and absolutely "wearable"😋💗 Like the whole series, the packaging is NOW in a classic simple design with soft edges. Makeupstore has really upgraded the design and quality: Makeupstore feels more luxurious now💅🏼 I found this a bit difficult to build up, but I wonder if a lot has to do with how light and soft their brush was (own review on that). But an incredibly nice color! But I feel it comes out more if I skip bronzer and stick to the pale winter skin☃️ But then you don't have to worry about putting on TOO much blush. But I hoped it would give a bit of the same vibe as the nyx buttermelt highlighter in the color u butta werk, just not quite as much highlight effect. I should say I haven't tried it myself but have a friend who uses it. Possibly like Ysl's make me blush 42 - a strong cool pigmented pink blush. But I will see this is less pigmented and warmer in tone than those. But I should say I've been using this blush since! perfect for everyday. But when I want to dress up more, I use one of my other blushes that are a bit more pigmented. I now use the blush together with my Caia multi-use brush F03. It is a bit more compact than their domed powder brush #06 (own review on that), so I feel it was easier to build up a bit like that. But nice to finish with the softest brush to achieve that nice "melted into the skin" effect. Unfortunately, no picture or video of the difference🫠 Therefore, it doesn't come across well in the picture how much more pigmented it can get. Incredibly hard to see it at all, but I promise it was more obvious in reality. But I'm considering buying it in one of the darker shades, because WOW the product is incredibly creamy and blends so incredibly well🙌🏼 it also feels incredibly light on the skin! I've also tried bronzer, highlighter, tapered highlighter brush #04, and as mentioned in this, their domed powder brush #06. In short: + nice color☃️💗 + beautiful packaging😌 + blends incredibly well with the skin🤩 + feels light on the skin☁️ +/- difficult (but achievable) to build up the light color, maybe easier with darker shades?😅 +/- would it be a bit more pigmented? in just that lightest color? #lykoinflutester #makeupstore

Blush - vintage rose
I have had the honor of testing the #makeupstore new releases for a few weeks. I was really sooooo excited to try these new products, as I used a lot from them during my teenage years. To start with, I really liked the packaging, sooooo sleek and simple. Just my taste! However, I think the product was poorly pigmented. You can of course build up several layers, and then the product looked really nice. I like that it has a bit of shimmer (tried to capture that in the picture). Unfortunately, I am always a bit stressed when I do my makeup in the morning, so I get a bit picky when it takes time.. Beautiful shade
The prettiest blush shade I own 💗 This is so beautiful and I love the glow it gives to the face! Gives a natural look!
♥️ 40 "Vintage Rose" blush has a beautiful rosy/red tone. Glowing Blush
I received a blush, bronzer, highlighter, and two brushes from Make Up Store to test. I have tried all the products on my face, and the experience has been good 😊 the products do not clog the skin, but I would have especially liked more pigment in the blush and bronzer. The product description states that the blush is very buildable, but I believe that one should achieve a more visible result with the first layer. It is also worth noting that you can choose a brighter shade if you want a more noticeable result. Riktigt fin rouge i en perfekt persikoton - inte för rosa, inte för orange. Nyansen ger ett frächt glow med en “sunkissed” känsla. Glowy blush that melts in perfectly 💖
Makeup Store Iconic Luster Blush in the shade Frosted Pink is truly super pretty! The packaging feels like a real upgrade compared to their previous ones, so luxurious and stylish while still being simple. In the pictures, the pink shade looked a bit cooler than in reality where the shade was somewhat warmer than I expected, but still very pretty. The formula is a perfect blend of cream and powder that makes it melt into the skin and is easy to work with. It works well with both a fluffy and a firmer brush, but I prefer the firmer one a bit more to pick up the pigment even though the product is definitely buildable. It reminds me a bit of Caia's glow blush but is slightly less pigmented. It lasts all day and gives a really nice glow without becoming glittery, which is a big plus. The only thing that brings down the rating for me is that I wish it was a bit more pigmented because then it would have been full marks. That could be because I chose the lightest shade, but regardless, I use this one very often and it has truly become a favorite in my routine since I got it home. Iconic Luster Blush: 30 True Pink
#lykoinflutester #makeupstore Along with the Iconic Radiance Highlighter and Iconic Glow Bronzer, I have also tested the Iconic Luster Blush, all of which come in a newly redesigned packaging. My first impression when I saw the products was - wow, they did a great job with the design!😍 It also depends on what kind of properties you are looking for in a blush, whether you want a more powdery, creamy, or more liquid format. I think this blush didn’t have enough pigment. I really had to swing the brush back and forth before some color showed up. 5⭐️ Packaging ( + for mirror) 2⭐️ Pigmentation 3⭐️ Can be built up regarding color If you want minimal makeup in your routine, this would be a go-to product. Poor Pigmentation
The blush caught me right away with its nice natural color, a shade that really looks like a color for me. The packaging is also top-notch, sturdy, pretty, and feels well thought out from start to finish. I'm more into the neutral toned shades when it comes to blush and don't want any loud pink colors. 💕 Unfortunately, the product doesn't live up to expectations. The pigmentation is really weak, so I have to go in with the brush several times to get any effect at all. It's a shame because everything around the product is so good, but the color just doesn't stick to the skin.
