The best C vitamin serum I've tried!
I rarely buy the same skincare product twice because I always think I can find something better. That's why I've tried several dozen C vitamin serums over the past few years. This will be the first (and maybe only?) C vitamin serum I will buy again and again. I have normal to dry skin and I like that my skin glows and looks hydrated. This serum, along with my favorite sunscreen, is the only thing I use during the day, year-round. I can apply makeup over it immediately without my skin looking dry or things starting to roll or flake. My skin has never looked better than when I use this combo. Gives a nice glow
I have tested C-tetra from Medik8 for six weeks. I am an experienced user of vitamin C serums and it is part of my daily routine along with SPF. My skin is dry, quite sensitive, and easily reacts with eczema and rashes. I also have some fine lines now at the age of 47. C-tetra is packaged in a dark heavy glass bottle that feels luxurious. What detracts from the luxury is the dropper, which is actually quite bad. It is difficult to dose and too much product easily comes out. The screw cap that the dropper is attached to is also not great; it has a poor fit and does not close tightly. So it’s definitely not something to take with you on a trip. It has a fresh orange scent that just smells incredibly good. The scent lingers for a few minutes after application before disappearing completely. The serum is very thin and fluid and absorbs incredibly quickly into the skin. As soon as it absorbs, the skin looks glowing and fresh. It is also the glow that I have noticed a difference in during these six weeks; it is more noticeable and the skin looks a bit clearer. It also works well under makeup along with my SPF, nothing rolls or anything. I was afraid my skin would react strongly when I started using the serum, but thankfully it did not. Superserum
This is a fantastic oil-based serum that, despite being oil-based, is not thick and doesn’t ball up on the skin. I have dry, mature, and sensitive skin and usually need to use quite a bit of product to feel satisfied – this serum is no exception, but that entirely depends on my skin type. I really like the texture, even though I usually avoid other oil-based serums because of that. They often feel so “dry and clogging” when spread out, but this serum might be the exception that proves the rule? I think my skin feels more elastic now after using this serum for a good while. Best for my skin!
I've been using this serum for about 2-3 months now and wow what a glow I've gotten. My skin is silky smooth and even. Looks a bit like I've had botox. I use it on my face/neck/decollete. Great scent, lovely on the skin and hasn't reacted negatively at all, only positively.
