What a lifesaver!
I've had bad acne for several years, which has been very tough. I started with iso about 15 months ago. Got this and other products from the same brand as a recommendation from my dermatologist. Even before the medicine could help, this started to help. Since I finished the treatment, I've kept the pimples away with this cream and the cleanser that I've recommended before. I can highly recommend it! The new formula doesn't work for me
The cream has a light formula that doesn't feel oily and quickly absorbs into the skin with a matte finish. I'm a bit torn about this product as I've used it for several years in cycles and initially loved it. I noticed a big difference in redness and that pimples disappeared faster. However, during these 4 weeks that I've been able to try it again after a break of a few months, I must say that my perception has changed. I rarely use this product all over my face but focus the product on my problem areas and have experienced that the acne has gotten worse on the days I've used the product. I've thought that my skin might be too sensitive and that I shouldn't use it every day. Suddenly, my acne feels better on the days I don't use it. Maybe this product has a purging period, or it simply doesn't suit my skin. At the same time, it has helped somewhat in other areas of my face to reduce redness, such as on my forehead. Therefore, I find it hard to review the product as I've gotten such different results. Another downside I've noticed is that I can't get it to work under makeup. It crumbles no matter what other products I combine it with. It's also not moisturizing enough for me, even though I have combination skin, so I always have to have another cream on top. Unfortunately, this cream is no longer a hit for me, even though I liked it before. Maybe it's the new Duo+B formula that doesn't work for me compared to the old Duo+ Anti-imperfections Corrective Unclogging Care. Mild and Gentle Cream!
I have tested this product for about 3-4 weeks. My first impression of it was that it has a fantastic consistency and feels very moisturizing on the skin. Since I haven't tested the product for that long, I unfortunately can't really say yet whether it works or not, as I don't see any difference in how my skin looked before compared to now. It does get a plus for me because I think it sits very nicely under makeup! I personally have had acne for several years and haven't really found anything that works perfectly yet, however, I can say that the acne hasn't gotten worse from the product, but as I said, I don't see any major difference. I will continue to use the product and see if anything happens with my skin, but so far I have nothing bad to say about the product. Test Pilot
As a test pilot, I got to try 3 products from LA ROCHE-POSAY for 4 weeks!💙 - Regarding “Effaclar DUO+M 40 ml,” I find that it doesn’t trigger breakouts as easily! The product is supposed to reduce marks after acne, but after 4 weeks, I unfortunately find it hard to say if it actually does. I have tried both laser treatments, expensive products, etc. to get rid of my acne scars from teenage acne! My acne scars are red, but I haven’t seen any significant effect from them yet. But maybe that will come with longer use of the product😉 It doesn’t flare up as much, which is nice and reduces the risk of new acne scars! I've used this in conjunction with other Laroche skincare products and this has become a new favorite! I have tested this product for about 4-5 weeks. During this period, I haven't gotten any new pimples, which for me is a big WOW!! Since I usually get at least one pimple a week!😍😍 The product itself has a cooling gel consistency and absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving no greasy feeling on the skin! It's something I really love! I've tested wearing it both under makeup and just having it completely "naked" on the skin. Good, but not quite for me
This is a product that I basically like. It has a nice consistency and is easy to use and works just fine under makeup, for example. This has worked well for me when I've had smaller and somewhat superficial breakouts of pimples and clogged pores. The downside of the product for me, and what makes it not quite a home run, is that I have very dry skin and a sensitive one at that. I don't think it moisturizes enough just as it is, so I have to use other creams as well to achieve sufficient hydration. I also experienced, especially on sunny days, that it made my skin more sensitive. I also found that my skin could sting sometimes when I applied the product, but not always. However, I do think the product works, especially as a “spot treatment” I do believe this product works better/best for people with an oily skin type. Does what it promises!
#lykotestpilot #larocheposay #lykoreview My skin is very sensitive and dry. I don't have major issues with acne or blemishes, but I can get uneven skin tone with red areas. I think this cream really helps my skin achieve an even skin tone, and my skin feels very smooth! Additionally, I find that redness after pimples fades faster. However, the cream isn't quite enough as a moisturizer for me, and I like to apply a bit of Cicaplast from La Roche-Posay afterwards. I don't like how the product looks alone on the skin, but I prefer a bit more glow. It's definitely a good cream that does its job and works for sensitive skin, but if you have drier skin like me, you might need more moisture! ☺️
