can you use this at the same time as epiduo?231 viewsMaria L.
Customer service at Lyko2 days agoHello! Since one can become a bit sensitive from epiduo, I would recommend something that really repairs and soothes the skin. Therefore, I would like to instead suggest this lyko.com/sv/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-cicaplast-balm-b5--100-ml Good luck and take care! ✨

3 days agoIt’s peeling off
Hi. I just bought this and I’m actually very satisfied. But I’m experiencing that it’s peeling off and rolling into flakes.. I’m using hydrating toner, snail essence, La roche b3 serum, and finishing with this. I’m also going to use sunscreen but haven’t gotten it yet. Help😫210 viewsLine
Skin therapist at Lyko3 days agoHi Karoline! This can happen when you use too many layers/too much product. I recommend trying with just one serum/essence and using less product when applying, letting each product absorb before applying more. Have a nice day😊

1 week agoHey💖
Can you use this both in the morning and at night? And should you combine it with another moisturizer or just use this one? I also use The Ordinary niacinamide serum, does it work?699 viewsEmma
Customer service at Lyko1 week agoHallå der Magdalena! 👋🤍 This works great to use both morning and night as needed. Since it doesn't provide much moisture, I would recommend applying a moisturizer beforehand for the best results. 😍🍂 A serum with Niacinamide can definitely be combined with the product above and should be applied before DUO +🤍 Take care!

Can I use it at the same time as retinol?744 viewsJosefine
Customer service at Lyko1 week agoHey hey lovely Donya This Duo+M should not be used at the same time as retinol in your skincare routine, so I recommend using this in the morning and your retinol in the evening Remember sunscreen during the day to protect your skin Take care!

I have been using the product as a spot treatment for 2 days now, and the pimples sting/itch right after I apply the product, and for a good while afterward. Could this be an allergic reaction? Or does it mean the product is working?😅799 viewsJosephine
Skin therapist at Lyko1 week agoHi Wiktoria It's completely normal if you experience the product "tingling" a bit on areas with pimples and blemishes, but it shouldn't be uncomfortable or sting. Experiencing stinging/itching in connection with using this cream can have several different causes. If you've scrubbed or exfoliated your skin, or are using other active products (cleanser, toner, or serum) before the cream, this can contribute to increased sensitivity to the active ingredients in Effaclar Duo+M. Here, I recommend using gentle or tailored products from the same brand to avoid this It's not recommended to use this cream or other active products on open pimples/wounds, as this can create further irritation in the area and delay the healing process Wishing you a wonderful day ahead!

Can I use it morning and night? And can I use the Cicaplast cream from La Roche-Posay over it? (I feel like the product provides enough moisture, so I feel like I need something over it)💖930 viewsJenny
1 day agoDo you mean that Cicaplast isn't good if you have acne-prone skin?

2 weeks agoCan it be used with other products?
Can it be used together with the niacinamide serum from The Ordinary, and can it be used just as a moisturizer under makeup?1 likes734 viewsEmma S
Customer service at Lyko2 weeks agoHey Sille I hope you’ve had a lovely start to the day! La Roche-Posay Effaclar DUO+ can definitely be used under makeup, just avoid the eye area As for whether the product can be used in combination with The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, this can be hard to say. It may cause irritation in some people depending on sensitivity and tolerance. The Ordinary's Niacinamide combined with acids specifically indicates that the combination with acid (which DUO+ contains) can cause redness and irritation. I would therefore recommend using these products in separate skincare routines to avoid this clash Have a great weekend

Customer service at Lyko2 weeks agoHey, Thank you for your product review! I'm sorry to hear that the product didn't meet your expectations Here's an alternative recommendation for a K+ cream that has a similar application but gently exfoliates the skin and effectively prevents clogged pores: lyko.com/en/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-effaclar-k---sebum-reducing-moisturizer Psst, you can find a free skin test in the Lyko mobile app if you'd like us to create tailored product recommendations just for your skin Have a lovely day!

2 weeks agoCan you use this with Epiduo?
I'm about to start using Epiduo and wonder if you can use this as a moisturizer?967 viewsEmma
Customer service at Lyko2 weeks agoHey Johanna! 👋 Effaclar DUO+ can be a bit too strong as a moisturizer in combination with Epiduo. For the best results and to minimize the risk of irritation, I would recommend choosing a mild and simple moisturizer without exfoliating ingredients. For example this one: lyko.com/sv/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-cicaplast-balm-b5--40-ml Have a wonderful week! 🌞🌺
