    LOVE

I love this cream, it’s soft and doesn’t irritate the skin. I have quite a few problems with pimples on my forehead and kind of fungal acne and it has helped a lot. However, the product runs out quickly, so a larger size would be great!!

    Amazing product, frustrating packaging

I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel I have to give feedback to La Roche-Posay here. The product itself is genuinely excellent and easily deserves five stars, but the packaging is far from the same level. If you ever switch to a tube design that actually allows you to use every last bit of the product, the rating would immediately go up to five stars. As it is now, you end up having to squeeze so hard at the end that it becomes uncomfortable, and there is a real risk of losing grip and accidentally poking yourself on the rigid edges of the tube while trying to get the remaining product out, sometimes even breaking the skin. There are far more flexible and better tube solutions available, which makes this choice hard to understand. This applies to both Toleriane Sensitive Cream and the Riche variant. You can remove the plastic cap to get slightly easier access to the remaining product, but in practice it is such a hassle that I usually end up throwing it away earlier than I should. That said, the formula itself is very good. The Sensitive Cream works well for everyday use, especially during summer. The Riche version is noticeably thicker and better suited for the winter season. - I rarely write reviews, but in this case I want to give clear feedback to La Roche-Posay. You have created a five-star product in packaging that barely deserves one star. The day you switch to a tube that actually makes it possible to get out all the contents, the rating will also be five stars. As it is now, you shouldn’t have to squeeze so hard that you risk hurting yourself to get the last bit out, especially when you easily lose grip and can accidentally poke yourself on the tube’s hard edges so that it starts to bleed when you try to press out the last bit. There are plenty of soft and more user-friendly tubes on the market, which makes it hard to understand why this hard and impractical solution is used. The problem applies to both Toleriane Sensitive Cream and the Riche version. You can remove the plastic part of the tube to more easily reach the last bit, but to avoid the frustration, I usually end up throwing the product away before it is completely finished. The product itself is excellent though. Sensitive Cream works very well for everyday use, especially during summer. The Riche variant provides extra moisture and is better suited for winter.

    Works on skin with PDO

Always go back to this when PDO breakouts get worse. After a while, I’m tempted to use more active ingredients but it works poorly on my skin, then this is the rescue alongside the cream from the doctor.

    Sensitive Skin

I started using this cream when my skin was extremely sensitive for a while and I had heard so many good things about this brand. The cream is light, moisturizes well, and doesn't irritate my skin, it's just perfect. I also like to use it under my makeup, which gives an incredibly good result. I've bought this cream several times and it always helps when my skin needs something gentler 🙌🏼

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Cream 40 ml

My skin therapist told me to stop using cicaplast baume 5 and that I need a lighter cream. I have a bit of mild perioral dermatitis around my nose but also sensitive and acne-prone skin. Would you recommend this cream or do you have something better from la roche-posay?

Hi Elsa😊 I understand, and how great that you have been to a skin therapist who could look at your skin live. Yes, La Roche‑Posay Toleriane Sensitive 40 ml is a mild, soothing, and light cream that is suitable for sensitive skin and can be a good alternative if you need to stop using Cicaplast Baume B5, especially for you with PD. It is fragrance- and alcohol-free and gentle even for skin with mild perioral dermatitis. There is also a cicaplast gel that many find calms this skin condition, but this one is lighter in consistency lyko.com/sv/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-cicaplast-b5-recovery-gel-40-ml?fromsearch=cicaplast2Bgel If you want a bit more hydration, Toleriane Dermallergo Creme is also a good alternative. lyko.com/sv/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-toleriane-dermallergo-creme-40-ml Hope you find an alternative that suits you and that you have a really nice day💫

    Burning and hot skin

I have sensitive, dry and atopic skin and immediately when i put the lotion on, my skin started to burn. I washed the product off and used my regular products but the burning still continued for a while. It might have been the niacinamide in the product that caused this reaction.

Hi Willow😊 Thank you for your feedback🤍 I’m sorry your skin reacted that way. Toleriane Sensitive is designed for sensitive skin, but people with very dry or atopic skin can sometimes react to ingredients like niacinamide. Stop using the product, soothe your skin with gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers, and avoid other actives until your skin calms down. If the burning continues, consider seeing a dermatologist. Here's another calming moisturizer to use instead: lyko.com/sv/la-roche-posay/la-roche-posay-toleriane-dermallergo-creme-40-ml Hope this helps and wishing you a great day💫

    PD

Hi! Does this cream work now during the winter for sensitive combination skin that also has issues with perioral dermatitis? Or do you recommend another moisturizer?

Hey A! It might work, but I would check out Purito's Bamboo cream instead, and if you need more nourishment if you feel dry, then choose the Sleeping pack or alternate between them 💜 If you feel breakouts, choose Bioderma Cicabio! If you want more personalized tips, feel free to take our Deluxe skin test that you can find in the app under Beauty Scan 💌 Wishing you a nice day!

    Better?

Hi! What is the difference between this face cream and The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%? Which is best for combination skin with a bit of redness over the nose and cheeks? I have slightly oily skin between my eyebrows and nose and dry skin under my mouth and cheeks that often feels a bit tight.

Hey there! 🌞👋 Of course, I can help you with that! La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive is a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer that soothes and strengthens the skin's barrier. It's perfect for combating tightness and dryness, but it doesn't contain azelaic acid, which actively works against redness. The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% is more active and focuses on reducing redness and uneven skin tone. It can give a slightly mattifying feel and may be experienced as a bit drier on the cheeks. For your combination skin with redness, I would recommend using The Ordinary on the areas that need it, like the nose and cheeks, and then applying Toleriane on top or on the dry areas. If you want a milder routine, you can use Toleriane as your daily cream and add the azelaic acid a few evenings a week. A simple routine could look like this: Morning: Gentle cleansing → Toleriane → SPF Evening: The Ordinary Azelaic Acid on red zones → Toleriane on dry areas
