Here I have found a favorite of the all-rounder type! Usually, I'm not that excited about serums. I have a lot of different products that I've tested without noticing anything major. But here, the difference is noticeable! If I have any signs of red and irritated skin, I pat this on in the evening after cleansing (and often toner), and voila! Better the next day. If I have a little pimple on the way: I apply the serum in the evening, ooog voila! Better the next day. If my skin starts to get a bit flaky and dry, e.g. due to a cold: I apply the serum in the evening, and voila! Better the next day. It feels so good that sometimes I skip the cream in the evening and just use this. The consistency is thick and fluid, I see some have described it as slimy, and as a good replacement for snail slime. I can't bring myself to use snail slime (I have way too many garden snails!😆), but I can imagine this has a similar effect. I have yet to use it for active exfoliation (massaging it around and rinsing off) as I have other products I use for that. I really wanted to love this product. However, it lacks in a lot of departments. It states that it is an Essence, however it is extremely thick, more serum like, and doesn't absorb fully leaving an oily layer on the skin, making it not really suitable for use as an essence. I dont find it provides anywhere close to as much moistur as snail mucin does and as it is on the pricier side and runs out extremely quickly i do not find myself to be able to give it a higer rating. It has its uses and performs well when used as the last step before a mosturiser, but is not versatile enough, unfortunately. I don't find the hefty price tag matches the actual value of the product as there are no fancy ingredients, the bottle is made out of plastic and the over all feel of this product does not explain the price tag. New favorite
I got this in Lyko Lovables and it has really become a new favorite. I use it as an exfoliation 1-2 nights a week and it feels gentle and kind. My skin becomes smooth and feels so soft and hydrated the next day. Better wrong and happy than right and sad!
I was skeptical… But I’d rather be wrong and happy than right and dissatisfied! I tested it partly as an exfoliation and honestly… so much gunk came out!!! A terrifying mixed delight! At the same time, it doesn’t smell weird like another one I have that’s similar from a K-beauty brand. Received damaged product
I ordered this. But it arrived damaged and completely empty. I contacted you for a return. No response or new product. I know I won't be shopping with you anymore. I've also experienced something similar and then I called customer service and it was always resolved immediately and you always get really good help 🩷 There are no other chains as good as Lyko when it comes to fixing things if something has happened. I only trust Lyko and Vita. Kicks, Blivakker, Fredrik, and Louisa, to name a few, are really bad at customer service! Annoying exfoliating slime
I got this in a Lyko Lovables and have now used it for a while. Unfortunately, I have to admit that it’s not really for me, simply because I don’t like the feeling it gives me on my skin when I apply it. Thought of as a serum, it becomes annoying and slimy... It ends up where it shouldn’t be on my face when I massage it in and then move my hand to the next spot. As an exfoliation, it feels like everything is rolling off my skin. Sometimes this even happens when you didn’t intend to exfoliate but just want to apply your cream right after the serum, which feels strange and wrong on the skin - you just want to wash it all off because you feel so dirty. Results then? Well... Neither good nor bad really. It’s okay, neither more nor less. Both in terms of hydration and glow. ...and I don't see any benefit, no change whatsoever, I really don't know what this product does. This feels like a sticky and quite useless layer (used as an essence) in my daily routine.
