A nice ascorbic acid serum
Ascorbic acid is known to be unstable, so it's important to use the product within a few months. You can store it in the fridge.7387 views - The post was made 2 daysRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
God!
So far I really like this a lot! I use it 2-3 times a week and haven't had any reactions. I also like the light, watery consistency – nice for me as I can easily get closed comedones.81 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Honestly, best vit c serum, budget friendly.
I have tried many budget friendly vit c serums and honestly, this is the best one so far. I believe some of the low ratings are due to user error and not understanding the product, and how potent it is. For more sensitive skin, I suggest trying to do the "sandwich method" like for retinoids (moisturiser/serum/moisturiser). It helps a lot, I did at the beginning before my skin got used to it.281 views - The post was made 1 month
Combining with Retinal
Hey, my skin is used to both vit c and retinal, but I was wondering if I can use this serum at night before going in with A game from the same brand. I couldn't find any information that there's a conflict on the formulations, like for example with The Ordinary products. Thank you!1259 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHi Ana😊 Thank you for your question✨ Even though your skin is used to both Vitamin C and retinal, it’s generally not recommended to use C-Glow and A-Game in the same night routine, as layering these strong actives can increase the risk of irritation and damage. The safest option is to use C-Glow in the morning and A-Game at night, or alternate them on different evenings. This way you get the benefits of both without stressing the skin barrier. Also always remember sunscreen during the day. Hope this helps and wishing you a great day!💫2 likes

No thanks
Bad smell and not for sensitive skin :/1432 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHi K.K, Thank you for your review 💕 The natural scent of vitamin C is not very pleasant in my opinion, and since this product doesn't have any fragrances to mask it, it can be particularly noticeable. Fortunately, the scent often dissipates from the skin quickly after application! 🍊 Let me know if you want recommendations for products that would be better suited for your sensitive skin. PS. Vitamin C may also require a bit of acclimation from the skin, so you can start by using it less frequently and gradually increase usage as your skin gets used to it. To avoid potential allergies and sensitivities, we always recommend testing a new product on a small area of skin (like the hand) and waiting 24 hours to see if the product causes any reactions. Have a lovely day! ✨😍2 likes

Storage?
Great that this serum is available in Norway now, but how do you store this serum in your warehouse? Is it kept cold in storage? And do you get regular deliveries so that the product is from a relatively fresh batch? I have previously purchased directly from the manufacturer and know that the serum they send is from the week's fresh batch, and they recommend that it be placed in the refrigerator when the package arrives. - The post was made 4 months
Where to store?
Where is it better to store this product? In the cupboard in the dark at 20-25 degrees? Or in the fridge?2130 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 4 monthsHey there! 🩵 Geek&Gorgeous says that storing the product in the fridge can extend its shelf life! 🤩🧊

Combine with Niancinamide
Hi, can this vitamin C be combined with Geek & Gorgeous B-Bomb Niacinamide serum? ☺️1791 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 5 monthsHey Michellé😊 Thanks for your question✨ Yes, you can absolutely use Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow (Vitamin C) together with B-Bomb (niacinamide) – but don’t mix them directly. Use C-Glow first in your routine (after cleansing), let it fully absorb, and then apply B-Bomb on top. They work well together as long as you apply them in the right order. Good luck – feel free to reach out if you have more questions! Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a lovely day🌞

Can this product be used while breastfeeding?1479 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 5 monthsHey again Anna! I understand you - always fun to have something new - so here are 2 suggestions that are milder than pure c-vitamin (one is unfortunately temporarily out of stock) 🧡 lyko.com/sv/niche-beauty-lab/transparent-lab-super-c-serum-30-ml lyko.com/sv/the-ordinary/the-ordinary-ascorbyl-tetraisopalmitate Have a nice weekend 🌸1 likes
Geek & GorgeousC-Glow Serum 30 ml
A super-light, water-like 15% Vitamin C + extra antioxidants (Ferulic Acid & a smaller amount of Vitamin E) formula to give the skin environmental protection, boost collagen & even the skin tone. Skin type: all skin types - please do a patch test if you have sensitive skin
Skin concern: dark spots, aging, dull & uneven skin Pure Vitamin C (or Ascorbic Acid) is a 3-in-1, clinically proven superstar that gives the skin environmental protection (antioxidant), boosts the skin's own collagen production and fades hyperpigmentation. This water-light formula contains 15% Vitamin C & extra antioxidants to give a healthy glow, even and firm the skin. The disadvantage of pure Vitamin C is that it is super unstable, and hard to formulate with. This formula uses a low pH and extra antioxidants to help to stabilize Vitamin C, but even like this, C-Glow comes with a relatively short, 8 months shelf-life. key ingredients:
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid – 15%) – A clinically proven active that gives the skin environmental protection (antioxidant), boosts collagen production and fades hyperpigmentation. Also gives an instant glow to the skin.
Ferulic acid + Vitamin E – Antioxidants that help to stabilize Vitamin C and increase its antioxidant power. The formula contains a high amount of Ferulic Acid, and a smaller amount of vitamin E.
Dimethyl Isosorbide – A new-generation solvent that aids the proper penetration of Vitamin C + solubilizes the high amount of Ferulic Acid into the formula.
Use:
Apply a few drops to the face after cleansing, before using other serums and/or creams. Ideal to use in the AM but can be applied PM as well. As the C-Glow formula has a water-like texture, it is recommended that you put a drop directly onto your face and quickly pat it on with your other hand.
