Difficult to assess the effect after only 4 weeks of use..
I received this exciting hair product for testing as #LYKOINFLUTESTER. This is a strengthening serum from Kérastase that, according to the product description, is supposed to prevent hair loss due to hair breaking. The serum has ingredients that are supposed to make the hair more resilient and minimize hair loss. The serum is supposed to strengthen and care for the naturally protective barrier in the scalp. The serum should be used once daily in the morning or before bedtime. You can apply up to 4 doses to a dry or towel-dried scalp, section by section. 1 dose = 1 pipette to the mark. The serum should be lightly massaged in and not rinsed out. I was super excited to test this serum since after three pregnancies (six years since the last) I have gotten thinning around the hairline on my forehead. Here, the hair grows extremely poorly, and the little that grows gets a maximum of 6 cm long. Exciting to see if this serum could help. I also generally have hair that never gets as long as I want because it breaks and splits easily. I otherwise have medium-length, Nordic, fine hair with slightly bleached ends - otherwise untreated. I’m starting to go gray (I’m 43 years old). These are my thoughts on the product after 3.5 weeks of use: ✅ Lovely container that looks good on the bathroom shelf ✅ Good pipette that makes application easy, doesn’t drip. ✅ The product doesn’t feel sticky on the hands afterwards (even though you should of course wash it off) ✅ The hair doesn’t feel greasy at all when used (I’ve used it in the evening) 🚨 Quite okay scent (but relatively strong). Smells a bit masculine ❌ The bottle is not very economical in use and the price is quite high. I applied 4 doses each time and used up the product in 4 weeks. ❌ No visible results after four weeks. As an influencer, I had the honor of testing this product. The packaging: In glass that feels sleek and luxurious with a smart pipette. So pretty with the ombre colors too. The consistency is gel-like and wonderfully cooling. Good consistency as it doesn't run out so easily 👌. It smells so good, both orange/citrus and a bit of woody undertone yum. Very fresh scent. I feel that the scent settles after a while, which I think is good since I have worked in healthcare. Smells mild but not too strong after a few hours. The pipette has a good clear marking for how much to take and is easy to handle 👌. When I apply the serum, I feel fresh. But my hair gets greasy, and I find it stiff/chunky after it dries. I don't like that it gives me such a greasy impression, something I really work to avoid. Even the next day, I find my hair greasier and with a strange slightly stiffer feeling in my hair. Which I don't like. I've been using it for a while now and notice no significant difference in my hair at all. I assume you need to use it longer. But I'm most irritated that my hair feels so greasy after a while within 1 hour of application for me unfortunately. So I think it's a ridiculously expensive product to give me greasier hair and no difference in hair quality, but I assume you need to use it for more than 2 weeks. I'm not that impressed yet, but I get to test it a bit longer to see if it gets better going forward. But I don't like the feeling in my hair after it has been a while. I had the honor of becoming #lykotestpilot and have been able to test Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant 90 ml for four weeks, and here is my experience. ✨ ❤️ Pros: - The packaging – Easy to use and dispenses just the right amount of serum. It is also well-sealed, which reduces the risk of spills. - The consistency – Light and pleasant formula that absorbs quickly into the scalp without leaving a greasy feeling. 💔 Cons: - Fragrance – Contains fragrance, which can be bothersome for those who prefer unscented products. - The scent – I find the scent to be quite strong and more on the masculine side. Conclusion: In summary, the serum did not quite live up to my expectations. The scent was too intense for my taste, and I did not notice any significant difference in hair loss during the testing period. One positive thing is that the bottle lasts a long time – after a month, there is still plenty of product left. Test Pilot
I have had the honor of being a test pilot for #kerastase 🌸 I have fine, thin hair that is damaged from daily use of a flat iron. Serum: The serum is the best I have tested. I have hardly lost any hair and it smells really good. But it is not very economical, I have used up a bottle in 4 weeks. Hence the low rating. I probably won't buy it again due to the price. Unfortunately not the right match for my hair
I got to test this product as part of the Lyko Test Pilot program, in exchange for an honest review❤️ First impression: The bottle feels luxurious and of good quality since it is made of glass. Large bottle. Experience: I have used the serum according to the instructions, but for me, it feels a bit drying. After application, it leaves an alcohol-like scent on my fingers that reminds me of dish soap. My hair type: My hair is damaged, porous, and dry at the ends. I wash my hair about once a week to avoid further damage. Result: Unfortunately, I have not noticed any improvement regarding hair loss or hair quality. It may be that you need to use it for a couple of months before you see and feel an effect. A nutrient-rich serum!
Product tester 👋🏻 Serum from Kerastase, which I have tested for the last 4-5 weeks along with shampoo and conditioner also in the Genesis series. My assessment🌟 ⭐️ A light serum with a good and fresh citrus scent ⭐️ Easy to apply via pipette, and it settles nicely in the hair without giving a greasy appearance (something I often experience with hair oil) ⭐️ Overall, together with shampoo and conditioner in the same series, they complement each other very well and the hair feels shiny, strong, and light ➖ A bit pricey, even though there is a lot of product in a bottle ➖ Not used daily as recommended but 2 x a week, so unsure if results can be achieved with just the serum ➖ Should be tested over a longer period and also without using Genesis shampoo and conditioner to see if the hair strengthens only with the serum My assessment is that the serum has been useful together with shampoo and conditioner in the same series, but I haven't tested hair serum before, so not much to compare with. A serum to trust!
First, I want to start by saying thank you to Lyko for letting me test this serum from #kerastase that #lykotestpilot ❤️ The serum is my ABSOLUTE favorite in the Genesis line and the product I don’t want to be without! The serum is incredibly light in consistency and absorbs quickly without weighing down the hair, which makes it perfect even for fine hair.🌸 It is specially formulated for weakened hair that is prone to hair loss due to broken hair strands – something I have personally struggled with, both due to breastfeeding hormones and wear on my hair from highlights. Since I started using it, I have really noticed a clear difference. After washing my hair with shampoo and conditioner, I massage the serum into towel-dried hair at the roots, and it feels both fresh and light, without leaving a sticky or heavy feeling✨ I also like that it becomes a little moment of self-care; the massage in the scalp feels both relaxing and beneficial. The result has been that my hair feels stronger at the roots and doesn’t break as easily as before. It also stays fresh and airy for a long time between washes. 🫧🌸 For me, who has typically Scandinavian thin fine hair, I have found the serum to be economical and it will last quite a while, which is a plus. Kerastase hair serum! Strengthening serum from Kérastase for daily use, prevents hair loss and hair strands that break. The serum is enriched with an effective combination of aminexil, Edelweiss Native Cells, and ginger root, which makes the hair more resilient. I have been so lucky to try this hair serum. I have been using it for 3-4 weeks now, and that might be a bit short to see the full effect. The serum smells good and is easy to apply with the pipette. I apply the serum in the evening so that it can work overnight. The hair does not get greasy. I will continue with the serum for the recommended trial period of six to eight weeks to see the effect of this fantastic serum. I think the serum is somewhat insufficient as one bottle does not last longer than four weeks of use. Feels good!
I have been so lucky to be #lykotestpilot for #kerastase 's genesis series, both shampoo, conditioner, and the serum. For reference, I have chemically treated hair and have struggled with some hair loss. I have used the serum almost every day since I received it a little over two weeks ago, and it feels good! I have used to apply it every time after I showered and then blow-dried it a bit in, or in the evening on dry hair. It can look a bit "greasy", but it works well overnight. I received the products a bit late in relation to the review deadline, so I can't give a full assessment on whether it has helped with hair loss ☺️ The serum is in a glass bottle with a dropper that is to be used to distribute the serum in the hair. The bottle itself is a bit heavy and not the most practical to take on trips, but it also feels luxurious 😍 The dropper is very nice as there is a mark on how big 1 dose is, and it doesn't drip when you take it in the hair. I do not give the product a full score on the star scale due to the price as it is quite pricey products, and I still cannot assess whether they are worth it in terms of purpose ☺️ I have also noticed that you cannot see a difference before 6-8 weeks, and one bottle does not last for that as the serum is to be used every night. Feels luxurious!
The product smells fresh and feels luxurious in ombre colored glass with a dropper, it kind of makes you happy to see it in the bathroom cabinet 💖 I have used it in my evening routine and distributed 3-4 droppers over sections in my hair, then massaged it in lightly until I feel that the hair/scalp starts to absorb it. The hair gets a bit rough and strange, almost a little greasy, but it’s always gone when I wake up the next morning ☺️ The product is not particularly economical compared to the other products in the same series, and the price for this one is also a bit high unfortunately. My hair is thin Scandinavian hair that is very dry and damaged with a dry scalp. It’s hard to say if the serum has helped with hair loss after such a short time, but my scalp feels much better at least and it feels like it’s working. That’s why I got to try the Kérastase Genesis Serum, and I was excited to see if it could make a difference. The product gives a luxurious first impression and feels professional both in appearance and use🤩 The first thing I noticed was the scent, which smells good but is quite strong right after application. Fortunately, it fades after a short time and leaves a mild, pleasant scent. I was positively surprised that my hair didn’t get greasy as long as I applied it as recommended. The serum is easy to distribute and absorbs quickly into the scalp without leaving product residue. My hair is medium thick, and I have a dry scalp with inactive psoriasis. Because of this, I occasionally experience more hair loss than normal, so I’m looking for products that can strengthen the scalp and help reduce hair loss. After about 3 weeks of use, it’s still too early to assess the long-term effect on hair loss, but so far I feel that the scalp feels calmer and less dry. The serum feels gentle and pleasant, and I’m excited to see the results over a longer period. A good and pleasant serum that gives a positive first experience. To conclude, the scent could have been a bit milder, and the effect on hair loss is hard to assess after just 3 weeks. But it looks promising so far!

Nice serum
#LYKOTESTPILOT #KERASTASE This serum was probably the product I was most excited to test, and it was an interesting experience to use it over time. I haven't experienced major issues with hair loss before, but like many others, I've noticed a bit of extra hair in the brush now and then – especially during periods of stress or seasonal changes. Therefore, it was exciting to try a serum that is supposed to strengthen the hair strands from the root and counteract hair loss. I applied the serum directly to the scalp with the dropper, especially at the temples and in front of the hairline. It became a regular evening routine, as it could look a bit greasy right after application – but it absorbed very quickly, and when I woke up the next morning, there was nothing greasy or heavy in my hair. Very practical! The scent is mild and discreet, which I really appreciate – especially because the product is meant to stay on the scalp. I have sensitive skin and scalp, but I haven't experienced any irritation, itching, or discomfort. It actually felt quite soothing to use the product – and my skin felt more balanced after a couple of weeks of use. After four weeks, it's hard to say anything for sure about hair loss, but my hair actually feels a bit stronger at the roots, and I notice less hair in the brush. Whether this is placebo or a real effect, I don't know – but it gives me motivation to continue using it over time! 💭 In summary: This is a serum I believe many can benefit from – especially if you have early signs of hair loss, a sensitive scalp, or just want to prevent it.
