Acne scars on the back
I wonder if this product can even out acne scars on the back or if, for example, azelaic acid is a better alternative? I have tried glycolic acid before, but it didn't help with the scars. Or is there a better product that can help?1032 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 4 monthsHey Bella! Yeah, but this could work since this product both exfoliates and reduces clogged pores! π₯°π It can work on superficial scars but not the deepest ones possibly, but this is great since it also stimulates the skin and works for pigmentation too. Fingers crossed that you like it if you try! All the best β€

Can it be used on the face?
Can this product also be used on the face, but the salicylic acid concentration is only 0.5%?1260 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. The comment was made 6 monthsHey Jasmin! π This product is designed and tested specifically for use on body skin. Ordinary also has salicylic acid products for facial skin! However, if you want to try this on your face, I recommend doing a test first by applying it only to a small area. That way, you can see if the product causes irritation or allergies. Rinse the skin if you notice redness, itching, or stinging. Skincare should not feel uncomfortable! π₯°1 likes

Can it be combined?
Can this product be combined with HTH original body lotion that contains urea, betaine, and lactic acid? If one is going to start using the product from The Ordinary, what should one consider? Is there a transition period?2018 views- The comment was made 10 monthsOh! Okay, so HTH contains lactic acid and TO salicylic acid, so you probably shouldn't use them together, at least not at first. It all depends on how sensitive your skin is, 0.5% salicylic acid is very little, so it might be that you wouldn't have any problems using it as often as you feel like, but start a couple of times a week and PAY ATTENTION to how it feels for your skin. You can use HTH on the days you don't use TO, no problem. Hope that helped! I'm not a dermatologist though, just a skincare enthusiast ππ₯°2 likes
