  AMAZING! BUT WRONG SCENT 💖

  As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I had the honor of testing this shampoo from #waterclouds 👩‍🦰 ☁️ MY HAIR QUALITY I have typical Scandinavian hair. Thin, fine hair strands, but extremely many hair strands, which makes my hair thick. My hair is usually straight, but also has natural waves if it air-dries with a lot of moisture and caring products in it. My hair tends to tangle, which contributes to small knots at the end of the day. Therefore, I usually prefer hair care with moisture and a hair care that doesn't weigh down my hair because of my thin fine strands. ☁️ SCENT I have an incredibly hard time placing this scent. It definitely smells like "the sea", but a fresh sea scent. It reminds me so much of Biotherm's Life Plankton series in scent. I assume it's the algae that makes it smell the way it does (doesn't smell like that musty algae smell). It also reminds me of a men's scent, I wish there were other aromas. ☁️ RESULTS Incredibly lovely shampoo! I can feel how soft and smooth my hair becomes right after shampooing and before conditioner. It feels very nourishing, both because of its thick honey-like texture/consistency and because the hair becomes very soft after just shampooing. Usually, my hair tends to tangle a bit after shampoo, but I haven't experienced that with this one. The hair feels airy, soft, and cared for after cleansing. Economical shampoo that lasts long and lathers incredibly well despite its rich texture. ☁️ PLUS + Feels nourishing, especially for damaged hair. + I like the consistency, which is thicker like liquid honey. Lathers incredibly well anyway! + My hair becomes soft, pleasant, and airy. ☁️ MINUS - Strong scent that may be too much for those sensitive to scents. - Smells a bit too much like a man.

  Don't use if you have colored hair!!

  I received the entire Motion Care series from Waterclouds to test, and I only needed to use this shampoo once to form an opinion about it. The series is supposed to be suitable for those who have an active lifestyle and want to give their hair extra love and care, which I absolutely do! But I honestly felt that my hair needed MORE love and care after using this shampoo😢 Ingredient number 2 in the ingredient list is sodium laureth sulfate, and if there’s something you do NOT want in a color-preserving shampoo (which this is supposed to be), it’s sulfates. This is because sulfates strip the hair completely of natural oils, the hair strands become porous, and the outer cuticle of the hair strand opens up, causing the hair color to fade. Just a few days before I used the shampoo, I had a minicolor in my hair to even out my hair color (unfortunately, I have no good before pictures), and while I was washing my hair, I saw that the foam turned completely orange (I used an orange-toned minicolor), so when I finished washing and drying my hair, the minicolor was completely gone and the uneven color came back🤦‍♀️ The shampoo is also supposed to be moisturizing, and you probably get some moisture from the marine plant extracts in the shampoo, but whether they make up for the amount of alcohol, which is ingredient number 3 in the shampoo, I doubt a little. Because I felt no moisture in my hair after using this. My hair felt smooth and soft while I was washing it, but it was as if I couldn’t rinse the shampoo out properly. The hair was kind of smooth and soft all the way through, and I didn’t feel like it got really clean. So after using this shampoo only 1 time, my hair became colorless, drier, frizzier, and the next day it was incredibly greasy! I will never use it again. #lykoinflutester #waterclouds

  Great shampoo with a lovely scent

  As an influencer for Lyko, I have had the honor of testing new products from Waterclouds. The shampoo bottle is sleek and easy to use. The shampoo has a wonderfully refreshing citrus scent. I have really appreciated the scent. I find that the shampoo gives a cooling effect on the scalp if you let it sit for a minute, which I like. A small amount of shampoo goes a long way and lathers well. Afterwards, my hair feels moisturized and soft. The shampoo is designed to suit active lifestyles that require daily hair washing. I have long, curly, and thick hair and usually wash it at least five times a week. I feel that my hair feels more moisturized when I use this shampoo and I really think it’s true that it suits daily hair washing. To sum it up, I really like this shampoo and an extra plus is the scent. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #WATERCLOUDS

  As #lykoinfutester I received this shampoo, conditioner and the hair and body spray from same line to try out. I have medium length hair. I usually wash my hair every 2 to 3 days once and use styling tools or hair dryer after every wash. So my hair has some damage as a result of that. The packaging looks good and sleek for the shampoo but maybe not the most optimal for the formula. The shampoo is very thick and gel like. So not so easy if you want to squeeze the bottom. It’s not the most satisfying shampoo when it comes to how it lathers. I ended up lathering it up between my palms first and then applying to my hair ( One can probably use the shampoo foam maker tools aswell). Even though I felt I was not able to get enough under my hair so had to flip my hair and apply from under. As I said earlier I prefer to was my hat every 2 days once but I noticed if I wash my hair daily it works just fine and is strong enough to cleanse my hair throughly. Also I think would work just fine those with shorter hair. The shampoo has a minty/herbal scent and cooling effect. I thought it was pleasant and refreshing. It’s not the most moisturizing shampoo ever but it didn’t dry out my hair even if I was washing my hair more often during testing it so that’s good. Probably not the perfect shampoo for me who prefer to wash my hair less often but is a good shampoo for daily use. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #WATERCLOUDS

  Fresh scent - makes hair soft and smooth

  I, who have typical Scandinavian hair (thin but many hair strands), prefer a volumizing shampoo over other types. My hair is very flat and lifeless, which requires a volumizing shampoo to look good after the shower. However, I think this shampoo feels both moisturizing and gentle on the hair. The hair became very soft and smooth after use. I think it smells fresh and nice, but it might smell a bit too strong for those who are sensitive. #INFLUTESTER #WATERCLOUDS

  I have now tested the #waterclouds series Motion Care. The first impression is like the rest of Waterclouds' products, sleek and inviting design. Since this is advertised to be used by both genders, I was quite excited about the scent. It has a fresh and what I would call clean scent. It smelled a bit stronger than I had hoped, but can absolutely be used by both genders if one is not sensitive to perfume and scents. I have thin Nordic hair, which is bleached but only in the lengths; at the roots and outward, I have my natural color. This results in the ultimate combo of being a bit extra worn at the ends and getting greasy quickly at the scalp. Therefore, it is important for me when I buy hair care products that they take this into account. When it comes to shampoo, which I mainly have on the scalp, it is important for me that it does not weigh the hair down. This shampoo does the job totally okay, the product has a consistency that feels a bit like a gel, but it lathers quickly and well when applied. I found that the product needed to be used two to three times every time I washed my hair to get it really clean. A bit more than my usual shampoo. Even though it required a bit more product before I felt completely satisfied, my hair was clean and did not feel weighed down. I found that my hair was fresh and nice and did not get greasy until day two. (A bit less than I usually prefer, but for this price totally okay) The nourishing effect on colored hair that it promises to have unfortunately brings it down for me. I found that the ends of my hair became noticeably drier and more damaged after using this shampoo. Overall, a totally okay shampoo at a totally okay price.   Fresh and Cooling Shampoo

  Motion Cate Shampoo 250ml I have the honor of being a #lykoinflutester to try this moisturizing shampoo. My hair is quite dry and damaged from previous bleaching of highlights. I need a lot of moisture in my hair. I love Waterclouds' product packaging, both the outer packaging and the bottle itself. They have a nice and sleek design. I like to have them visible in the bathroom. The consistency of the shampoo is clear and quite thick and a bit sluggish. I would say that unfortunately, it’s not as economical as I had hoped. You need quite a bit of shampoo to get a lather on the scalp and to distribute the shampoo throughout the hair. The scent is fresh and clean. You get a cooling sensation on the scalp, which is very pleasant. The hair feels really moisturized after washing. It doesn’t get frizzy and is easy to brush. I do like the shampoo quite a bit, but unfortunately, it’s a bit disappointing that it’s not very economical and runs out way too fast. #lykoinflutester #waterclouds

  Waterclouds has no clear or particularly exciting profile - I like that the producer behind "wants something" - to take care of the planet, create jobs in the local community, or use local ingredients. Waterclouds is hair care developed by hairdressers. Simple and straightforward. I am almost 48 years old, in perimenopause, and it shows now in my hair. It is a bit more brittle and drier than before. I have thin Nordic hair and a lot of hair strands. I have hair type B2 - mostly. Straight in the front and curls in the back. I see it called Irish hair on TikTok. Maybe it is. Regardless of what it is called, it is quite difficult to style. I wash my hair every day, and Waterclouds tells me that I can use this shampoo then. After testing it for a few weeks, I completely disagree. I find that my hair is stripped of moisture and becomes really dry. Even though I let it go both 2 and 3 days between washes (my regular brand I can use twice a day without losing moisture and shine). I especially notice it on the ends - they almost crunch. I am almost worried that I will split them with continued use. The scent is also completely wrong. It smells strong and the scent lingers until the next day. It also does not match the type of perfume I use - vanilla scents - this one smells too much like lemon and is very sharp. A shampoo that is to be used every day should be fragrance-free, I think. I like the design of the bottle - it is pretty. The bottle is nice to hold and easy to open. The shampoo lathers well, is easy to distribute, and is also easy to rinse out. I need a bit more product than my regular brand, so Waterclouds shampoo is not too economical. This is not a bad shampoo, absolutely not. But for my hair - which is now changing - I need different types of products. I actually think this is a shampoo that would suit men best - the scent leans masculine. So I can imagine that this series would make a good gift for the sporty young man. #lykoinflutester #waterclouds

  I have recently tested shampoo, conditioner, and mist from Waterclouds. This series is called Motion care and is designed for those of us who are very active 🏃‍♀️➡️🚴‍♀️ I spend a lot of time outdoors walking my dogs in the woods and fields. It’s nice to have a dedicated series that is gentle on the hair and scalp for those of us who need to wash our hair every day. I have thin Nordic hair with a sensitive scalp. I have been using this every day now to see how my hair and scalp reacted. The bottle has a nice and simple design. I found the shampoo's consistency to be thick, which made it difficult to distribute well in my hair. I first tried it in my hand, but I must say that this consistency was strange. But even though the consistency wasn’t the best, I am very satisfied with the result. It’s a light and fresh shampoo. My hair stays nice all day and the next day. I haven’t had any reaction on my scalp, neither itching nor dandruff, which is something I can easily be bothered by if I wash my hair every day. The shampoo is supposed to contain soothing menthyl lactate for a cooling sensation, which you notice when you apply the shampoo. It also provides a lot of good moisture to the hair, something I quickly noticed. I will be using this shampoo going forward since I was so pleased with the result 🤩 So all in all, 4 stars from me, and it’s the consistency that unfortunately is the reason it doesn’t get 5 stars from me. I’m attaching a picture of how my hair looks the day after an active day.   I got to test this shampoo from #waterclouds. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are just as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) The shape and design of the bottle are quite okay (not too clunky). The design is very unisex. However, the bottle is hard and quite difficult to squeeze product out of. The consistency of the shampoo is way too thick for such a hard bottle. I think the thick consistency also makes the shampoo quite difficult to work with unless you do a round with your regular shampoo first, before you start applying this. I tried this shampoo as the only shampoo once, and then I had to do three rounds for it to feel clean enough. But when I first did a round with my Neutral shampoo and rinsed out, followed by a round with this, it worked much better.. so that’s what I’ve been doing for several weeks now. The shampoo gives the scalp a slight cooling sensation (comes from Menthyl Lactate). Even though it’s just sensory, I still liked it. My scalp also hasn’t reacted negatively to the shampoo despite the strong scent. Smells very mainstream fresh.. like lemongrass. No scent that makes me want to wave my money though. I think it’s a perfectly okay shampoo when I use it as a second shampoo, so I think it deserves a weak three in rating. However, I prefer Björn Axén’s volumizing shampoo over this one.

  💧I have tested this shampoo for 3 weeks along with the conditioner from the same series. 💧The bottle's design is simple and sporty! The product has a mild, clean, and pleasant scent. The scent may come off a bit masculine for some, but I like that it has such a neutral fragrance. It smells fresh and clean, and the scent doesn't linger for long. 💧My experience with the product is that it is a shampoo that is economical in use and feels lightly cooling on the scalp. 💧My hair and scalp: I have a lot of hair, many fine hair strands. I have slight fall/waves in my hair. My scalp is sensitive, and there are many products I can't tolerate. This does not apply to this product! My scalp has been much better since I started using this shampoo along with the conditioner in the same series. I haven't experienced any burning, itching, or anything else! 💧All in all, I am very satisfied with the product. I usually have low expectations for shampoos and conditioners as I have had many bad experiences. This is not the case here!   Great unisex shampoo!

  As a #lykoinflutester, I received a package with 3 products from #waterclouds The first product is a 250ml shampoo. The shampoo has a ”marine” menthol-like scent that may not suit everyone! (Not my favorite scent, but it works!) which I also think makes the shampoo feel very unisex. Not too ”feminine” and not too ”masculine”. I think the bottle is sleek since it has a slightly more fun shape + the little cloud on the front. The blue color fits into our bathroom, so these are still bottles you can proudly leave out in the shower. I have THICK curly colored hair and therefore don’t wash my hair daily (which this shampoo is supposed to work for!) but I have an active job, so sometimes you want to wash your hair more often when it feels like you’ve sweated a bit. After washing, my hair feels super soft and cared for! The shampoo also has a slight cooling effect on the scalp, which I find nice since my hair is extremely thick! My partner has also tried this shampoo since he wanted to because it’s not drying like many others since he also has an active job and a sensitive scalp. However, I don’t think this shampoo will become my new favorite, but maybe something my partner and I can share while traveling!
