Fantastic hair color😊
I have bleached my hair at home for many years, eventually got tired of having super dry and damaged hair. So I decided to go back to my natural color. It was a very scary decision, but I was very tired of blonde hair and it was a lot of work to maintain the color and health of my hair. I decided to try Wella color touch, as it is not a super permanent color. The color faded slowly but surely, after 5 months almost all the color was gone again. I had very bleached hair, so some of the color will of course remain anyway, but I actually think it just turned out nice😇 I used the color 7.1, and was very pleased with it, it is a lovely cool brown color. Intensive Toning
I have previously used this toner in other shades. Most recently 4/0, but I didn't think it got as dark as I wanted. This one is supposed to have the same darkness level, but 4/0 has neutral undertones and 4/77 has brown undertones and can therefore be perceived as darker. So I was hoping to get a somewhat darker result this time. The color in the tube could have given me a scare as it was bright orange. The mixture also turned red-orange, but just have to keep calm and hope for the best. But it is indeed strange that orange color can give a dark brown result. This toner does not irritate my sensitive scalp and does not give me a noticeable regrowth. I am already a brunette, but I tone my hair a little darker. The accompanying after-treatment is lovely, the hair becomes soft and shiny. I let this sit for 30 minutes under a plastic cap, as I usually do. The hair became somewhat darker than with 4/0. My hair is not thick, but long - a good bit below the armpits. One package is more than enough for my hair. The downsides are: - the color sticks very much to the skin and can be hard to remove. So be quick! - it washes out quite quickly, even though it is semi-permanent. But I prefer to tone more often than to have regrowth. I would say it's a cross between toning and coloring. Does it really wash out?
I've heard that there actually aren't any hair dyes IRL that wash out? I've been struggling for two years to become blonde. I'm not platinum, but still blonde. But I really want to go dark now for the fall. But I want to be blonde again by summer. Does it really wash out?
