Lays on like a dream!
I think this is an incredibly nice foundation. I use the shade 2W2 Rattan🫶🏼✨ I have combination skin with a forehead that easily gets oily, and this foundation is really matte in a nice, long-lasting way. It keeps the shine away and stays where it should all day without separating or getting cakey😍✨👏🏼 If you have drier skin, I would absolutely recommend using a richer cream underneath, because it is, as mentioned, matte in its finish. With a richer cream underneath, it lays super nicely and looks even and fresh. With a lighter cream, the result is also nice, but more naturally matte. Feel free to check out my video where I show how it works on me both with a rich cream and a lighter one, so you can see the difference clearly. I actually have nothing to complain about when it comes to result, durability, or finish. The only thing that holds me back is the price. 640 kr is above my pain threshold for a foundation, and honestly, I don’t think I would have bought it at full price. I would definitely wait for it to be on sale. Okay but like… wow 😍 This newly formulated foundation is just a wow keeper. You can throw away your old man for this one because this will never leave you! I usually go for a CC cream from another brand for everyday when I want something quick and easy. But when I know the makeup really needs to stay – that’s when I pull out THIS ONE 💅✨ Perfect for festive occasions, dinners, events, or just those days when you want to feel extra put together and know that the base won’t budge an inch. ✨ Pros: • Stays all day (gym 💦, work 💻, party 💃, dinners 🍸 – you name it) • Can work it out more than the “old” version 🙌 • A little more dewy finish but still super natural – no over-the-top glow • Sits so nicely on the skin • Doesn’t get cakey • Doesn’t get oily throughout the day • Gives an even, flawless but still natural look 🤍 I love that it feels a bit more alive in the finish but still has that classic durability. It gives you the chance to really try it before you decide 🕵🏼♀️🤍 If it’s not possible to try in-store, I’ve of course done a bit of research and found that 3W1 Tawny could be a good match for you. Missing the original!
I think the new formula is very disappointing. It looks nice when you apply it.. the coverage is almost as good, and it’s a bit more «dewy» than the original. But it definitely doesn’t last as long as the original version. By the time the workday is over, it has separated and slides around in the slightly oilier areas. Ironically, it’s called «stay-in-place». Huge letdown! I also think it’s a shame that Lyko chooses to use old ratings and reviews on a product that is completely new and different! The new formula is much worse and has a light coverage plus it has an unpleasant smell (most likely due to skin-caring ingredients). They say you can build it up, but I don't quite agree. The foundation also doesn't work as well when combined with a full-coverage concealer. I hope others' feedback brings the old version back 💗

Discovered the high-end makeup/luxury brand Estee Lauder in 2024 😃 Used it in both winter and summer, reliable, hardly needs touch-ups, stays on for more than 24 hours or when you cleanse your face. Double wear, stay in place 1NO Porcelin light beige suits me, warm undertone 👋🏻 Need very little to create a natural/almost #nomakeup look, the bottle looks small, but if you use it the right way, it lasts a long time. SPF 10 waterproof, oil-free, no alcohol, definitely good for sensitive skin.
