Very nutritive product for my skin
This is my 3rd step in my skincare routine. Unfortunately didn’t work for me :(
I got this Cool Derman Arctic berry Hydro-Recovery Nourishing face mask from Lyko to test. I’m 37 years old, so my skin is already aging, and especially in winter I even have atopic dry skin. I use face masks weekly, so I was excited to try a new product that promises effective hydration for dry skin 💦 The packaging itself is not pretty in my opinion – it’s very simple and not an “eye candy” in the bathroom cabinet. The product has a slight scent, not at all strong or disturbing. These aren’t the most important factors for me, but always a plus if I like the product otherwise. But oh! 😭 The product is way too runny to actually moisturize and nourish my skin 💔 (Note: I had done my normal skincare routine underneath without night cream) The mask even stung a bit when applying, so it wasn’t nearly moisturizing enough for my skin. As dry skin, I would have hoped for a really rich mask that binds the rest of the skincare and leaves the skin soft and hydrated 🥹 This cream didn’t do that on my skin at least. Maybe it works for oily skin, but the jar does say normal and dry skin. Promises too much 😮💨
I want to start by saying that I like the face mask, it gives radiance and the skin feels smooth after use, it stings a bit at the beginning of application, I don't know why but it's not something I exactly dislike, however it means that my skin reacts to something in the mask. Otherwise, it feels very gentle! I have used it about two evenings a week and think it is a nice product, it contains vitamins and avocado oil 🥑 💚 So why do I give it two stars? Well! It says on the packaging that the mask has an immediate smoothing effect, which it obviously does not have, it gives radiance but absolutely does not smooth my skin. I don't like when products promise too much, which I think this one actually does. Now it's important to know that not all products suit everyone and this one didn't quite suit me, despite nice ingredients, it does contain perfume but that ingredient is last on the list so we can assume it's not too much. 🌸 The price also lowers the rating, there are many nice masks out there for a better price and that work much better for me 👏🏼 495:- is a bit steep I think when the mask doesn't quite hold up. A bit too much perfume
I got the chance as #lykoinflutester to test three products from #colderma 🥰 super fun to get the opportunity to try a completely new brand for me. My skin is dry, so a moisturizing face mask that can be left on overnight is perfect for me. But to get enough hydration, this one was not sufficient. If you’re not as dry as I am, this could definitely be great. But the scent!? Unfortunately, I felt it had too much perfume and I didn’t like the smell at all. Hard to describe what it smells like, but it wasn’t a fresh scent nor one that makes me happy. My daughter thought it was okay, so she’ll take over. Overall, it still feels like a good mask. Good mask!
Have tested the Cool Derma product for #lyko for a few weeks, and here is my honest review 😉🤠 For info: Approaching 40, thin and dry skin, with oily T-zone, sensitive. The mask contains avocado, green tea, lingonberry seed oil, hyaluronic acid, squalane, oat extract, vitamins A, D, and E. Suitable for normal/dry skin. The mask is supposed to hydrate, soften the skin, give glow, protect, and renew the skin's surface. What I like about it - Seal on the tube - Flip cap - Thin consistency - Pleasant scent - Absorbs quickly into the skin - Not greasy - Easy to wash off - Good ingredients I used a good amount the first time to get enough for face and neck. It has a very thin consistency and is very runny. It's easy to spread the mask once you start, but it can quickly get messy, so take a little at a time... I leave it on longer than 30 minutes to maximize the effect, but already after 5 minutes I could feel that everything was absorbed. The skin feels soft and smooth afterwards. A bit too runny for my taste
I have been lucky enough to test some of the #coolderma for a few weeks, including this face mask💕 The face mask is thin and milky white in color and has a mild scent. I perceive the scent as clean and pleasant on the skin🥑 It contains, among other things, avocado oil, hyaluronic acid, green tea, and some other oils. You also find vitamins A, D, and E in the product. The product is recommended for those with normal and dry skin, which I would say is partly true. My experience with this face mask is that it immediately adds moisture to the skin, which feels very pleasant. However, I miss that it keeps the skin moist and glowing for a longer time compared to other similar products. I think the consistency of the mask is a bit too runny and that it could be a bit richer/thicker, and I believe then it would provide better moisture and a nicer result for me. A lightweight mask
I had the honor of testing this Nourishing Mask from Cool Derma. I really like it and feel that it moisturizes well. 🤩 What surprised me the most was the texture, which is much thinner and lighter than I expected from a nourishing mask. It almost feels like a light cream rather than a classic thick face mask. Therefore, I don't think it does much in just 15-20 minutes, but for me, it works best as an overnight mask. ✨ I also find that the skin gets a nice glow and looks more refreshed after use. The only negative for me is the scent, which I don't think is very pleasant. Fortunately, it disappears quite quickly after application. Despite that, I definitely think the product is worth trying if you have dry skin and want a moisturizing mask that soothes the skin overnight. 💫 I still give this mask 3 ⭐️ in rating. A bit like two in one!
I've been using this mask a couple of times a week lately, and it has become a real favorite when my skin feels dry or stressed. The texture is rich and creamy without feeling heavy, and the skin feels very soft and comfortable after use. I especially noticed that my skin had more glow already after the first time, and it helped well on dry areas around the cheeks and nose. What I like best is that it provides plenty of moisture without irritating the skin. Many nourishing masks can get a bit greasy or clog my pores, but this one absorbs nicely and leaves the skin balanced and fresh. Moisturized
I have been trying Cool Derma's Arctic Berry mask for a while now and am overall very satisfied. It has a mild and fresh scent and a nice texture that surprisingly quickly absorbs into the dry areas of the face. It is packed with great ingredients like lingonberry seed oil and squalane that make the skin feel both repaired and soft. After rinsing it off after about 20 minutes, the skin feels elastic and the tightness is completely gone. What lowers the rating by one star is the price, as it is in the higher price range, and the packaging is quite simple. Okay cream, steep price
I received this mask (along with cleansing gel and eye cream) from #coolderma as a #lykoinflutester. This is a face mask that can either be washed off after 20 minutes or used overnight and then rinsed off in the morning. For me, this is a bit of a strange product. It reminds me of a light, somewhat liquid moisturizer with a somewhat indistinct scent. The cream absorbs into the skin and provides some moisture and glow. I don’t really see the point of washing it off again. To me, it feels more like a moisturizer than a mask. I also have to mention that the price is steep – almost 500 kr for a face mask is a lot, especially when you only get 75 ml in the tube. Lovely night mask!
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try a new and exciting Swedish brand,#coolderma The mask can be used either as a "regular" face mask or as an overnight mask. I've tried both options and prefer to use it as a night mask. The plastic tube with a flip-top lid is practical but not exactly a decoration for the bathroom shelf. Doesn't really matter. It's the contents that count. The mask is white and runny, a bit liquid and not very economical. The formula doesn't smell very appealing, a somewhat bland scent, probably from the avocado oil. Perfume is listed as the last ingredient. My skin is aged, tired, and a bit wrinkled. 😔 Therefore, it needs all the care available to look a bit younger. Despite the runniness, perfume content, and the rather high price (almost 500 SEK), I will buy the mask again when my tube runs out. It really delivers on its promises! The skin truly smooths out and becomes maximally hydrated and supple. When I wake up in the morning and have rinsed off the mask, I see a whole new glow. Mask that gives a lovely glow
I have been assigned as #lykoinflutester to test this moisturizing mask. My skin is 50+ and needs lots of moisture, so I was very skeptical about this mask the first time I tried it. The consistency is very thin and runny, and I am used to rich masks. It also absorbed quickly into the skin and didn’t need to be worked in like many other moisturizing masks. I went to bed and woke up the next day with super soft skin and a lovely glow! For me, it’s a big plus that you can sleep with it. I love masks that work overnight. It’s a perfect mask if, like me, you use an AHA mask a couple of times a week as well as retinol, since it contains lots of soothing and moisturizing ingredients like hyaluronic acid, squalane, avocado oil, oat extract, and glycerin. Many of these ingredients strengthen the skin barrier and are great together with acids and retinol, which can dry out the skin. The packaging might not feel super exciting, but that’s the only negative thing I have to say about this mask. #coolderma
