Fantastic serum!
I've been so lucky to get 3 products to try from #dermalogica like #lykotestoilot 🤩 Here I have this lovely serum that gives a nice glow after use! It's light and smooth to use, doesn't need a thick layer either, which is a big plus for me! 🤩 The price is a bit steep but I think it's worth it when a product is so good and not least long-lasting in use! I usually use Dermalogica cleanser and toner with the serum so the skin gets the perfect finish layered with a good moisturizer!113 views - Most helpful negativeThe post was made 3 weeksRating: 2 out of 5Verifierad testare
Not a bad product, but for my sensitive skin
A BioLumin-C Serum that is supposed to contribute to more radiance and a smoother skin texture. It also promises to even out skin tone by counteracting uneven pigmentation that can come from, for example, sun damage, pollution, stress, etc. Additionally, it should also help make the skin surface smoother and more elastic. MY SKIN TYPE: Sensitive Surface dry Reactive skin with a tendency to imbalance Unfortunately, my skin is not the easiest; it has become very sensitive over the past year after having been more tolerant before. That means this product is too strong for me right now. Will I get rid of it? ABSOLUTELY NOT! This will be what I use as soon as I have a stable base again, but right now my skin reacts to everything that actually makes a difference in the long run. One of the key ingredients in this is Ascorbic Acid, which is pure vitamin C, the most effective form. On more tolerant skin, it would give a clearer and faster result than other vitamin C serums that contain less effective variants. I really wanted to love this because vitamin C is an ingredient I actually miss in my routine – especially now as I approach 30 and want to work more preventively against aging. But my skin is currently sensitive and surface dry, and here I notice that this type of active vitamin C can be a bit too much, especially on dry areas like the nose. However, unlike other vitamin C serums, my skin did not react as strongly as it otherwise can, which makes me really believe that I will be able to use it in the long run. It also gave an incredible glow and sat very nicely under makeup! Is it a bad product, you might wonder? Absolutely not, this is a bottle that gives you exactly what you are looking for in a vitamin C serum, but right now it does not work for my skin. Which skin type does it suit? ✅ Suitable for: Normal skin Tolerant skin Combination skin without sensitivity Pigmentation / sun damage Those who want glow + anti-age ❌ Less suitable for those of us with: Sensitive skin Reactive skin Surface dry skin with flakes Rosacea tendencies The serum is expensive but, as I said before, has more effective ingredients than others to give a faster and clearer result, and very little product is needed when used, which means it will last a long time. Unfortunately, really unfortunately... it is NOT the product for me RIGHT NOW 🥺 #lykoinflutester #dermalogica98 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 4 out of 5
Very good
Dermalogica Serum I am more than grateful to have had the honor to try this fantastic fine serum, it really is the best serum I have tested so far. I have always seen the brand Dermalogica on various channels/beauty sites and mostly positive feedback but never really dared to try it until now (my partner too!) MY SKIN TYPE: Tired Dry, gray, dull skin lacking radiance I think the product’s packaging looks kind of clinical stylish if you can use those words. Very practical with the dropper where you can choose yourself how much product you press/drop out. The consistency is not watery as I thought it would be but a little thicker and I think that is a very big plus! I think it smells kind of like mandarin peel and I have seen some people say it doesn’t smell good but I actually think it smells nice and refreshing. Advantages: • The skin absorbs it very nicely and quickly. • The skin feels moisturized. • The skin looks more alive. Disadvantages: • The price. • It wasn’t quite as much as I hoped for. I think it is very good for my skin type even though I got a few small pimples, but that might have been because of my cleanser? Still, I think this product works wonders! But I kind of thought this would be a miracle for my skin hehe, but I need to do/have more products than this! 🌸 I like to see others’ reviews and compare what they do for others. This serum is currently my absolute favorite! Sure, it’s a bit expensive but it’s actually very, very good and I recommend everyone to try it. It applies very nicely and quickly under makeup even on days when you’re a bit rushed to put on makeup. When this runs out I’m a bit torn but if I haven’t found anything else by then it will definitely be a guaranteed purchase. #lykotestpilot #dermalogica59 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Lovely serum but not wow
Got to try this serum from #dermatologica as #lykotestpilot The serum is super lovely and gives a nice glow when used. Will definitely continue using it until it’s finished but unfortunately not something I will buy again. Haven’t seen any major changes that I can conclude are related to this serum. It absorbs easily into the skin and works well with my other skincare.1 product in post Lovely serum but not wow76 views - The post was made 2 weeksRating: 5 out of 5
Wow!
I have been using this serum daily on my face and neck for about 3 weeks, and I am impressed! I am usually skeptical when it comes to skincare, but this serum was wow! The vitamin C serums I have tried before have done little for my skin. But after using this one, I have not only gotten more glow in my skin – the skin especially on my neck has also become firmer and more elastic 💘 I am approaching 50 and the skin on my neck has shown signs of dryness, less elasticity, and sagging. I have combination skin that is mostly dry and with few wrinkles. This "sagging"/less elasticity is actually no longer present 😳. This was beyond all expectations and I can truly recommend this serum for mature skin ✨ I only use a simple, rich moisturizer in addition to the serum. Other pluses are a pleasant scent, zero irritation, and a nice glow in the skin. Minus for the high price and a slightly thin consistency ❣️ #lykotestpilot #dermatologica54 views - The post was made 2 weeksRating: 5 out of 5
Recommended!!
The best vitamin C serum I've used! I've tried several different ones, but I've never been as satisfied as I am with this one. Gives a super nice glow and feels absolutely lovely on the skin, absorbs well! And completely fragrance-free – which is a big plus😍 Highly recommended!44 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Dermalogica Biolumin-C Serum
Dermalogica Biolumin-C Serum is a powerful vitamin C serum that focuses on giving the skin radiance and a more even skin tone. The product is especially popular for its ability to give the skin a fresh “glow” while also working on fine lines and pigmentation. The serum has a light and silky texture that is quickly absorbed by the skin without feeling sticky. It leaves the skin hydrated and provides an immediate refreshing sensation. With regular use, many experience that the skin looks clearer and more even. A big advantage is that it contains stabilized vitamin C, making it more effective and less irritating than some other vitamin C products. It suits most skin types but can be especially good for those who want to work on tired, dull skin or uneven skin tone. Advantages: • Provides beautiful radiance and glow • Evens out skin tone • Light and fast-absorbing formula • Contains effective vitamin C Disadvantages: • Relatively expensive • Can be a bit strong for sensitive skin initially Summary: A luxurious and effective serum that truly boosts the skin with radiance and energy. Perfect for those who want to invest in a more results-driven skincare routine. #lykotestpilot #dermalogica60 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 3 weeksRating: 4 out of 5
Scent?
I had the honor of receiving #dermalogica Dermalogica Biolumin-C Serum along with some of their other products and have tested them together. I was in great need of a serum and was therefore so happy to receive this product. My first impression was how luxurious the packaging was. The serum comes in a glass bottle which is well protected inside a nicely designed box. The serum has a light texture that quickly absorbs into the skin and feels smooth to apply. One dropper is enough for the entire face and neck. The skin feels moisturized and gets a lot of glow immediately after application. However, the scent was a big downside for me. The scent is not too strong but doesn’t smell particularly fresh in my opinion and affects the experience for me. Thanks to the strong absorption into the skin, the scent disappears quickly. A serum requires more time to see results but the radiance and glow I have gotten have been perfect for me and I look forward to continuing to use this product. My only criticism is of course the scent, which I hope they can improve in the future. #lykotestpilot #lykoreview #lykocreator56 views - The post was made 3 weeksRating: 3 out of 5
Gives a lot of glow
I have relatively young skin without obvious wrinkles, scars, or sun damage, so not the classic need for a vitamin C serum. Still, I find that this gives the skin a nice glow and a smooth, fresh base under makeup. Light in texture and absorbs quickly. It has not triggered my sensitive skin or redness. So far, I don't feel a strong need for a vitamin C serum in my routine, but I can definitely see myself buying this again when the need arises. Minus for the steep price for a small amount of product. #lykotestpilot #dermalogica52 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 3 weeksRating: 3 out of 5
Nice result but requires caution
I got to try this serum and thought a vitamin C serum would fit into my skincare routine even though my skin is quite sensitive. I'm always on the lookout for a nice glow that doesn't feel too much with my oily skin. Unfortunately, my skin reacted when I initially used it every other day. I got slightly irritated and my skin felt more sensitive than usual. When I instead backed off and started using the serum 2-3 times a week, it worked much better. Despite the reaction, I am actually happy with the serum today. It gives a nice glow and the skin feels smoother, but for me it only works in very small amounts (max 2 drops) and not too often. So it’s an active serum that my skin needs to take in small doses, but when I use it right, I really like the result and will continue to use it!! Plus ✔️ Gives a nice glow ✔️ Economical – lasts a long time ✔️ Noticeable effect when the skin gets used to it Minus ➖ Too strong for my sensitive skin with too frequent use ➖ High price #lykotestpilot #dermalogica - The post was made 3 weeksRating: 3 out of 5
Biolumin-C
I have, as #lykotestpilot, received some products from #dermalogica. A little about me: I have combination skin without major acne or scars, but a tendency to clogged pores on the nose and chin as well as oily skin in the T-zone. I used this serum before my moisturizing cream a couple of days a week, and it feels light and absorbs quickly into the skin. I felt that it gave a bit of extra glow and hydration, and that the skin looked a bit more even after a few weeks. However, I noticed that on the days I used it, I could get a bit more oily in the T-zone (especially the nose and chin), which was a bit unfortunate. For me, it was a completely okay product, but nothing I feel I have to have again – especially considering the price. I think it would suit someone with more skin problems than me better, such as scars that need to be lightened or if you just have uneven skin. ✅ Likes: ✔️ Gives a nice glow ✔️ Light texture ✔️ Absorbs quickly ❌ Less good: ✖️ Can make the skin more oily in the T-zone, at least for me ✖️ Not sufficient effect considering the price ✖️ I think it suits more “problem skin” better46 views - The post was made 3 weeksRating: 4 out of 5
Refreshing serum
For about three weeks, I have had the chance to test the Biolumin-C serum from #dermalogica as #lykotestpilot. The product promises more radiance and a more even skin tone, and uneven pigmentation is counteracted. The skin surface should become smoother and with improved elasticity. Nice packaging with text inside the box suggesting how it can be used. Beautiful glass bottle with a dropper, which makes it easy to apply. After application, the skin feels sticky like a grip primer. After moisturizer, I see a glow. The serum works well with my regular moisturizer, and I don’t see the serum “pilling” with my cream. I have used the product morning and evening during the test period (except for some evenings when I used a hydrating mask overnight). My skin: very dry and sometimes irritated skin that is mature with large pores around the nose and chin. From application and for a few hours, I see redness on the cheeks and nose. I am also testing Daily Microfoliant and don’t know if it’s that product or this serum causing the redness. Over time, the skin looks fresher, less dull, maybe a bit smoother on the cheeks and with a glow, hard to see in the picture. The lines from the nose down to the mouth (on the cheek) look smaller. I will continue to use the product but once a day since I see redness after use, and with more time maybe the pigmentation evens out as well. I can imagine buying it.39 views
