A good easy-to-use palette🌿
The first thing I thought when I opened the palette was, now I’m lucky! These are colors that suit my pale tones well. In the clip, I use a little bit of self-tanner. The palette contains three shimmering shadows and two mattes; in the clip, I used all the shadows. I use the brown matte shadow the most because it works really well for everyday use for me. It quickly gives the illusion of more awake eyes. My eyelids are so-called hooded, and now that I’m older, they’ve also become fluffier. So happy that this shadow works well for me! When I do my makeup, I usually use a primer on my eyelids; then my eyeshadow always stays best. When I do my makeup, I do my eyes first and the rest of my face afterward; I learned this from a makeup artist I assisted briefly in the 90s in Stockholm. The packaging in hard-pressed paper (cardboard) aligns with this vegan and organic brand; I think it’s nice and feels different. It works well; the lid is held closed with a magnet. This palette has a mark or new logo on the side that is being worked in, and it reminds me of the Helen Rubenstein logo and also the colors. I think it’s nice, and even my male partner, who is completely uninterested in makeup but works in design, thinks it’s very nice. Nice product with nice shade choices but not enough
What I like about the brand Estelle & Thilde is that their products are organic and affordable! This palette contains matte and glittery/pearly shades enriched with organic coconut oil, argan oil, and vitamin E☀️🩷 However, the product did not live up to expectations. Unfortunately…
Beautiful colors that I was looking forward to trying, but they are way too weak in their pigmentation... Surely works well for those who really want an eyeshadow that is very subtle (maybe for younger people or first-time makeup), but I need something else. Pretty okay!
I want to start by saying that I really don’t like the packaging. It’s made of cardboard and I do my makeup in the bathroom. So I’m so scared that I’ll put the packaging somewhere wet and it will get ruined. But I think the colors in the palette are so amazingly beautiful! These are really my colors. But unfortunately, I find that they get really patchy and the eyeshadow doesn’t last long at all. Even when I use setting spray, the eyeshadow doesn’t hold. Nice palette
Nice colors and lovely glitter, although nothing is particularly pigmented. However, easy to build up, and I recommend it since the shadows stay on all day. Nice colors but unfortunately a disappointment
I was very happy to have been #lykotestpilot for #estellethild ☺️ I like eyeshadows in earthy tones and usually use beige and brown. I thought these looked sooo nice so I had high hopes. But unfortunately, it was a disappointment. In the picture, I used my finger to try to show the colors as well as possible. Hard to get a good picture of how it looked on the eyelids 🙈, but I tried anyway 🤭 Here is a summary: - too little pigment, especially the mattes. The shimmery ones are somewhat better. - hard to get color to stick with a brush, felt like the shadow mostly flew around and also became "grainy." Barely visible. - best results came from using fingers, then the pigment stuck better to the skin. - the matte brown was incredibly hard to even get to show, very unfortunate. - faded away after a few hours despite using an eyeshadow primer. + nice packaging + mirror in the packaging + nice colors + organic26 views - The post was made 2 weeksRating: 3 out of 5
Gilded Gaze Eye Palette Soft Neutrals
Really mixed feelings about this palette! I got a really nice everyday makeup look with it, which I've been rocking almost every day since I got the palette, but then there are a few things that feel a bit off😬 When picking up the product with a brush, the eyeshadows dust and fall off a lot, which I don't think should happen with a palette worth 30€. I also don't understand why glitter was added to the darkest shade? One light glitter would be enough for this packaging. Now actually only 2 shades are in my daily use. Also, the cardboard packaging got dirty quickly and doesn't look nice. But as you can see from the picture, the shades I use are beautiful and work perfectly together😍 It was lovely to notice how the lightest shade really brightened the areas where I applied it! Beautiful colors perfect for everyday use
Really nice palette with colors most people could use. The packaging itself is light and compact, making it an easy palette to carry in your bag or suitcase. The palette contains 5 shadows, 2 matte and 3 with shimmer in very natural colors. This means you can create many different makeup looks with just this palette. The eyeshadows have a very soft texture but the shimmer ones can crumble a bit. Using a damp flat eyeshadow brush can help prevent this. The shadows are light and not overly pigmented, which makes them easier to blend together and build up the color gradually. This makes them very user-friendly and perfect if you are new to eyeshadow and don’t want to risk overdoing it. The shadows hold up well throughout the day and don’t crumble under the eyes. Cute, handy everyday palette, don’t expect a dramatic result!
Cute and compact palette in a sturdy solid box that opens and closes smoothly. I’m so grateful for the mirror in the lid, but I wish the mirror wasn’t quite so narrow. It would be an extra plus if the mirror were taller so you can see both the eyelids AND the surrounding area a bit better, as I prefer to see the whole picture a bit more when I apply my eyeshadow. The shadows feel quite large in surface area, which means you’re not limited to using tiny tiny brushes (ahem ahem, Urban Decay Naked Palettes, ahem ahem). I was so OVERJOYED when I saw this wasn’t yet another warm palette, but something that works nicely with my cool skin tone! So many makeup brands seem to forget those of us who aren’t naturally sun-kissed and golden brown. I agree with other reviewers who mention the pigment in the two matte shadows. They’re a bit too “chalky,” if I may use a bit of Spanglish, and don’t apply with evenly distributed pigment. The shimmer shadows, on the other hand, are really nice in pigment and work really well. They apply best with a finger or a sponge instead of a makeup brush (just like most glitter/shimmer products). I understand many are disappointed with the pigment, especially since we now expect quite a lot of pigment in makeup products. It’s definitely not a smoky eye palette for nightclub nights, but I think it’s much more suitable for everyday use and/or if you want to start using more eyeshadow in a more cautious way. I think it resembles eyeshadow palettes that are currently popular in South Korea and China, where thin, natural layers of shimmering eyeshadows in cooler tones are fashionable. So if you’re unsure how to use the palette, I imagine you can draw a lot of inspiration from their makeup routines! Lovely everyday eyeshadows!
#lykotestpilot #estellethild I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. Eyeshadow is the most fun to try new things with, so I was really looking forward to testing these! The packaging is so nice and sleek in beige, and the fact that it’s so small and durable makes it perfect to have in the bag. I appreciate that the colors are in a cool tone; for a while, it felt like all new eyeshadows were warm-toned, so these colors are a fun change. Probably fits especially well on anyone with a cool undertone! The shadows have a wide and nice variation of colors; it doesn’t feel like two colors are too similar, which easily happens in larger palettes. You can easily combine them for a neutral everyday makeup look. I would describe the texture of the shadow as on the drier side. The shadow isn’t creamy at all (which I think is the best texture for blending nicely) but feels more like a powder. It still works quite well to create smooth transitions between shades – but it probably would feel easier with a creamier formula. I think the shadow lasts well and long throughout the day, and the result is a nice everyday look. Nice colors, little pigment
Estelle & Thild Gilded Gaze Eyeshadow Palette is a small palette with 5 neutral shades, with both matte and shimmering colors. It is made with natural ingredients and is vegan. I was really looking forward to testing it, the colors are nice, classic brown tones that suit those who like natural eye makeup.
