    I really love this!

    As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test this set from Nioxin 🥰 I then have to explain why I love this set with a little background info about my hair. I have thick hair but fine hair strands, my hair gets very affected during the cold season. My hair gets dry and easily gets tangles. It’s enough for it to get a little damp, and it’s almost impossible to comb through, so when I wash my hair, I constantly have to detangle all the knots. So far, I haven’t found any conditioner that detangles my hair like the conditioner from Nioxin. I’m completely sold, as I’ve always had to struggle with detangling my troublesome hair. So everyone out there who struggles with dry hair that can’t be combed. Here you have it! 😍 Here are my pros/cons: ➕️ I love the shampoo that really cleans deeply. I like the scent of menthol. 🥰 (I always do a double cleanse) ➕️ The conditioner works wonders! Combs through my hair without any problems 👍🏼 Leaves my hair soft. (Use it all over my hair as well as on my scalp) ➕️ Nice and handy packaging 🌱 ➕️ The spray is very nice to use on the scalp. Feels like I’ve gotten less dry scalp from it. ➖️ I can’t say that I lose less hair with this set.     I had the opportunity to test some products from #Nioxin as a #lykoinflutester. I have thin, fine, typically Scandinavian hair that is dyed at regular intervals and suffers from chronic flyaway hair during the winter months. 🙃 I normally don't have major issues with hair loss or hair breaking. The shampoo both looks and smells like a Vicks tablet with a lovely blue color but an intense scent/smell of menthol. I find that my hair feels very coarse and dry after shampooing (I always double shampoo), which bothers me a bit. However, this feeling disappears after using conditioner. The conditioner smells, if possible, even more than the shampoo, and I feel it cools the scalp. If you were stuffy before stepping into the shower, you definitely aren't after! 😂 I think my hair feels soft and really clean after washing. The scent tones down a lot when the hair dries, thank goodness. The serum comes in a plastic bottle with a spray nozzle. The recommended dose is up to 9 sprays per use. I have primarily used this after washing my hair, and less (or not at all 🙈) on other days. The serum is almost scent-free. The distribution is unfortunately quite focused and doesn't spread very evenly, but it becomes more of a "hair spray" in one spot. I once tried to spray in the lengths as well, but you see, I shouldn't have done THAT! 😳 I noticed quite quickly afterward that it started to itch and turn red on my neck and shoulder where the hair hung down, and I got something that resembled hives. These disappeared quite quickly after I cleaned the area, but I never made that mistake again! 🙈 The biggest problem is that I have a side fringe, and I feel that my forehead absolutely hates these products, becoming dry, itchy, and flaky. After testing with my skincare and the process of elimination, I have concluded that it must be this series that causes it. 🙈 Therefore, I do not recommend this to you if you have sensitive skin and scalp. I find the entire series hard to evaluate since I didn't have the problems they are supposed to help with from the start but have to base it on the issues I encountered during the process 😂 I also don't think my hair has gotten thicker during the testing period. Size-wise, it was a suitable trial package, and there isn't much left of the shampoo and conditioner. The spray is a bit more economical. With regular use, it would become very expensive in the long run. I will not be buying these products again. Nioxin is unfortunately not cruelty-free.

    This was a rollercoaster

    As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test this (and other products from Nioxin. A little about me and my hair: I have a pixie cut, and really Nordic hair, thin and fine. I also have hair that gets both electric and flyaway, especially in the winter. If this package had only had shampoo and conditioner, I would have given it one more star, but the treatment made my hair greasy faster. There are some strong scents from this set, especially the shampoo, so OBS OBS. It was a mindf*** experience to use it. It smells like old-fashioned mouthwash, and it looks like that too, turquoise liquid shampoo.. But it is honestly nice and refreshing to use this in the morning. The biggest plus is that I quickly noticed a difference, I hardly flyaway at all anymore, and I also don't have as much electric hair. And my hair is also not as split as before. Unfortunately, I haven't noticed that my hair is thicker. So as you might understand, there was a lot of ups and downs here. I will use up the shampoo and conditioner, but I doubt the set will be purchased again..

    Good, but not quite there

    I've been trying this kit for a few weeks now, along with a mask and two serums. My hair is of typical Nordic fine quality, and I usually shed quite a bit, so I was excited to try! After use, I absolutely feel that I'm shedding quite a bit less, and my hair also feels very healthy and fresh. Now that I've used so many of the products, it's uncertain if any of them help more than others, but together I would definitely say they have had an effect! The shampoo and conditioner have a very strong menthol-like scent, which I think smells fresh, but can quickly become tiresome since it is quite strong. It also tingles quite a bit on the scalp from both the shampoo and conditioner, especially from the conditioner, but it doesn't hurt and feels a bit refreshing as well. After using the shampoo, my hair feels very clean but a bit dry, but after the conditioner, my hair becomes super soft, almost like after using a mask. The spray doesn't smell as strong as the shampoo and conditioner, and comes in a spray bottle that makes it very easy to distribute in hair and scalp. A big plus is that none of the products weigh down the hair after use, the scent disappears quickly, and the hair doesn't feel heavy or greasy, but very airy and still soft! The color of my hair also doesn't seem to be affected by the products like it can be with other products that aren't specifically suited for colored hair. I also don't think the price is that bad if you notice the product works on your hair and scalp, but in this kit, the sizes are quite small, so they don't last very long. #lykoinflutester #nioxin

    THE FIRST LYKOINFLUTESTER REVIEW OF THE YEAR FOR 2025 and we are kicking off with hair products from NIOXIN. Those of you who have followed my reviews for a while know what kind of hair journey I have been on and still am on 🙋🏽‍♀️ My hair is TYPICALLY Scandinavian, thin, dry, damaged, and broken but has gotten better (I hope) 🫣 The shampoo is for the scalp and hair, has a strong mint scent that is very dominant. The shampoo is blue, and the consistency reminds me of shower gel.. The conditioner has a better scent and makes the hair shiny. I like the open and close mechanism on both products, and they are surprisingly economical to use. The treatment has a spray mechanism and a strong scent. Due to a reaction, I don’t have much else to say about it unfortunately.. Overall, you get a lot of product for the money, but the result? Unsure 🤷🏽‍♀️

    In collaboration with Lyko, I have been testing the Nioxin kit for over a month. The package contains shampoo, conditioner, and a leave-in treatment. My starting point is thin hair, I don’t lose hair, sensitive scalp, and dandruff. In addition to being colored, it gets greasy quickly. I also use / a lot of heat protection. "The whole series smells strongly of mint and gives a slight stinging/cooling sensation in the hair." THE SHAMPOO: Comes in a sleek tall bottle. It is blue-colored and has a thick consistency. Lathers well and cleans away all dirt and grease. Quite a strong shampoo, meaning it falls under the category of "purifying". I wouldn’t recommend using this every day. I have done so...so you don’t have to 😄🤪 It dries OUT the ends, and they feel like hay🐮 THE CONDITIONER: Is also shaped like the shampoo, and has just as much inside. It does its job and moisturizes. I initially used it on all my hair, but quickly found that it increased my dandruff problem. So then it only went to the ends after a while. LEAVE IN: You can use the product both on the ends and the scalp. It also provides a slight cooling effect. I have used it along with a massage brush. I haven’t noticed any improvement in my hair from this because I haven’t used it for too long. However, it disappears quickly in both the scalp and the ends, and the hair is just as clean afterward. I miss documentation that the products contain active ingredients, such as Stemoxydine or Minoxidil Rogaine. These are the most effective against hair loss. In Nioxin, there is caffeine that can help stimulate blood circulation in the scalp, and cooling elements likely help with inflammation. But, it takes a lot for this to work in a shampoo/conditioner and a leave-in. That said, I recommend this kit if you are a beginner and see if this helps you. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #NIOXIN

    Affordable kit

    I have tested these products from #nioxin for about four weeks on behalf of #lykoinflutester. My overall assessment is that they seem to be good products, but they don't stand out in any way. I partially belong to the target group, I have no issues with hair loss, but I am trying to grow out some length in my hair and therefore want to minimize wear/breakage. My partner has also tested and he likes them better than I do! He would probably give them a 4 out of 5. I guess the factors I mentioned as negative below are not as negative for a man (the smell, for example). + Expensive products. + Affordable! + The hair feels very pleasant after washing. Moisturized and soft. But I expect that from all shampoos and conditioners on the other hand. - The smell! The shampoo and conditioner smell strongly of menthol. It doesn't smell bad at all, but a lot, and not particularly feminine, rather reminiscent of double shower or something. - A bit dull packaging. Maybe gender-neutral... It's hard to determine if they deliver on their promise regarding reduced hair loss after a relatively short testing period. I usually use a Loreal Professional Pro Longer series, which is also supposed to strengthen the lengths, and I will return to that. I haven't experienced any deterioration in hair quality, so they are probably equivalent, but if nothing else, I prefer the smell and appearance of Loreal. ➕ I want to make one last little comment regarding the spray, scalp & hair-treatment. It is the biggest plus of the kit, I think! The kit as a whole is affordable, and I think it's a bonus to get the spray for the scalp with the purchase. As I said, I find it hard to evaluate the results after just four weeks, but it is pleasant to use, and it can hardly hurt!

    As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I’ve had the chance to try products from #NIOXIN for over 4 weeks. About me: Almost 43 years old. I have long but thin, colored hair. Gets oily quickly, but I try to wash my hair every three days. Even though I go to the hairdresser every 4-5 weeks (to color), and get my ends trimmed every other time, my lengths are very damaged. I have a lot of split ends. Still, as I said, I’ve done EVERYTHING in recent years to reduce wear and tear. I can’t list everything I do and don’t do to keep my hair healthy, but it’s a lot! Despite this, I still have very damaged lengths. I also have tendencies to "gaps" in my hairline where I often lose a lot of hair. It’s just the gaps you see, but I generally feel like I’m losing a lot of hair. Especially noticeable every time I wash my hair. But it also shows on my hairbrush, which I usually empty once a week. Therefore, I was very excited when I got to test these products. Conveniently, I had a hair appointment both the day I received the products and when they were to be reviewed. So my hair is newly colored and "freshly trimmed" ends, both in the before and after pictures. So what do I think? Shampoo: 🔹️ 4-5 weeks is obviously too short a time to experience that the hair gets thicker. But I noticed already during the second wash that I was losing significantly less hair than usual. 🔹️ It’s not stated in the description, but I usually wash with shampoo 2 times. If I don’t think it lathers enough on the first wash, I repeat the process. But the product is economical! I use about 1 teaspoon/wash, and that’s enough. I wash/massage ONLY the scalp. The lengths get clean from the rinse water. 🔹️ The hair feels rough after washing, but it smooths out as soon as you put in conditioner (I also use a mask from the same brand, before conditioner. But that gets its own review). Conditioner: 🔹️ Both the shampoo and conditioner smell fresh with a hint of peppermint/menthol, but not too strong. 🔹️ The conditioner SHOULD be applied to the scalp as well, but if you’re careful when rinsing it out, the scalp won’t get oily from it. 🔹️ When massaging the scalp, I feel it’s cool. A bit like the effect menthol usually has. But not unpleasant. 🔹️ It detangles the hair very well and it feels soft afterward. 🔹️ A small dollop, about 2 teaspoons, is enough for both hair and scalp. Scalp & Hair Treatment: 🔹️ A bit difficult to apply. I would have preferred it to have a shower head instead of a small stream like it does now. The idea is that you should use it in all the hair + scalp, but I find it difficult with this nozzle. So I’ve focused on my problem area; the gaps in the hairline. 🔹️ Quite a small bottle. Especially if it’s meant to be used in both the scalp and lengths. 🔹️ Just like I said at the beginning, a couple of weeks is too short to determine if the hair will get thicker. But I do experience, as I said, reduced hair loss. Which of the products has had an effect, or if it’s all three, is hard to say. But something HAS actually changed! When I test products, I usually only use the products I’m testing. This is to make a fair assessment as possible. But this time I’ve supplemented with the same products that ALWAYS are part of my hair care routine. A leave-in product and hair oil. Because I’m terrified of getting dry lengths 😁 Considering the short time I’ve tested these products, I’m very satisfied. A small downside is that it’s quite expensive, but if the hair ends up thicker and healthier in the end, it’s definitely worth it! I will continue with these products for a few more months to really see if they work. It might be that I won’t be able to live without Nioxin 😜

User-friendliness: The steps in the routine are easy to follow and don’t feel like an extra burden in my hair care routine. The products rinse out easily, and my hair feels fresh without becoming rough or greasy faster than usual. After the shampoo, the hair already becomes unburned, does not tangle, like a washcloth. This surprised me very much. Because after other shampoos I couldn’t run my hand through my wet hair properly. The next step is the conditioner - it’s magical🪬. Creamy consistency, hair is soft, manageable, you want to touch it again and again. It really becomes thicker in structure. I apply the serum to the scalp when the hair is still damp. I didn’t notice any special results from it on my hair, so I can’t say anything in the end.     So it was time for new testing of hair products like #LYKOINFLUTESTER 😍 this time I received this set from #NIOXIN which is for light hair loss. After giving birth, I have really struggled with hair loss, but fortunately it looks like it’s coming back, but unfortunately still a lot of hair loss😩 I was very excited to see if these would save my hair since I’ve heard a lot of good things about this brand 😎 First impression. Very simple and nice bottle for both shampoo and conditioner. The spray, however, I was not so impressed with. It sprays a lot of product at once and doesn’t distribute over the hair. I would have liked a different patent for the spray. My hair also became very greasy and strange with this spray. I really liked the scent of the shampoo and conditioner. Smells a bit like peppermint/menthol and feels like it refreshes the scalp. I feel my hair became very clean from the shampoo, so that’s a big plus! The conditioner softens the hair in a nice way without weighing it down. Overall, I think it was good products except for the spray, but unfortunately I’m still losing hair😩 Such things should ideally be tested for 3-4 months before one can say if it works or not☺️

    I was so lucky to receive these products in the mail, and I have now been able to test out Nioxin's System 3 Trial Kit for Colored Thinning Hair for a few weeks. I am very surprised and impressed by what these products have done for my hair in such a short time!🤩 Unfortunately, I have no pictures from the hair loss I had before I started using these products, but I can at least triple the amount of hair loss I had before I started!! The shampoo and conditioner have a lovely scent of menthol/mint-ish smell, and give a cooling sensation when you have it in your hair. You just feel really fresh! At first, I was a little scared to massage the conditioner and spray into my scalp, because you usually don't do that😅 I was afraid of getting heavy and greasy hair afterwards, but I haven't experienced that yet🙏🏻. The products cleanse the hair well deep down, and after the conditioner, the hair is so smooth and soft (the same feeling you get after coloring your hair and doing a really good hair treatment). The only thing I didn't like so much was that the spray nozzle was very concentrated, but that's the only thing I can point out. I have dry, colored, and regular Nordic hair, with many fine hair strands. So the hair can quickly become "heavy" and greasy. I didn't experience that at all with these products🤩 I can highly recommend this series, and I will continue using these products going forward😍 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #NIOXIN
