Good for styling
A moisturizing cream that gives volume to the hair, everything you want in a hair product! This product is perfect for styling. But first to my hair: I would say it is typically Scandinavian. It is extremely flat and thin. I have a lot of hair strands but they are very thin, so not much happens with my hair if I don't style it. So when I style my hair, there is a lot of focus on volume so my hair looks fuller. To the product! This is a cream that claims to moisturize, provide volume and hold, and it also has heat protection. My first reaction was that the product smells incredibly good! A very fresh scent. My second thought was that it feels like you need to use quite a bit of product since this needs to be focused on the lengths, and since I have long hair, it took quite a bit of product. I still want to be careful to make sure the hair is covered since I wanted to test the heat protection in the product as well (so not using any other heat protection besides this product). The product itself is easy to apply and I finished by brushing through the hair so that the product would be distributed evenly (which is also recommended to do). When applying the product to towel-dried hair, the product feels very moisturizing, like a serum for the hair. But I felt that as soon as you started blow-drying the hair, you began to feel that the hair becomes a bit coarse and doesn't feel as moisturizing. My first reaction was that I didn't like it, BUT it is after all a styling product and if the hair has a bit of hold and is coarser, the styling lasts longer. So with a bit more thought, that feeling didn't bother me anymore. So with this in mind, this is not a product I would use after every wash unless I planned to style my hair, like curling it, which is usually my go-to styling. So to the result, you absolutely get more volume! The hair feels fuller and is easy to "puff" the hair with just your fingers to get the volume. I also think the hair feels better to curl when you have this product in, I think the curls hold longer than they usually do! To summarize: a good product for styling! Provides hold and volume for long-lasting styled hair. The same old song for me
I have Scandinavian, fine, and happy hair. And by that, I don't mean fine as in beautiful and happy as in joyful. But rather as in narrow and slick. I applied a bit of product to towel-dried hair, and then blow-dried it. Here's how the story goes for me: products often weigh down and sit on top of the hair strands, making the hair look weighed down. Unfortunately, that was exactly what happened with this product as well. The hair lay flat against my head, and the overall feeling was not good at all. So unfortunately, this was no hit for me. On the plus side, at least the hair didn't look greasy (many products unfortunately give that effect), and the product smells really good! The whole series smells good! I had the honor of testing the Volume Blow Dry Cream from Björn Axén, and I am truly not disappointed! This cream is so incredibly light, leaves no residue or stiffness in the hair, but gives such amazing volume. I usually don’t blow-dry my hair, but now I’ve started to love blow-drying my hair, especially with these products from Björn Axén, as you really get volume and shine that lasts! These products I’ve had the chance to test have truly made me want to take care of my hair again. Smells magical, like when you’re at the salon. Something for thick and smooth hair!
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this styling cream with heat protection from #björnaxen 💜 I, as the tester, have thin blonde shoulder-length hair. The packaging is sleek and practical. The consistency is good, a bit thin and therefore easy to work in. The scent is a bit unisex and “chemical”, it really doesn’t smell sweet or floral, which I like. The first time I tried it, I took too much, and my hair felt like straw basically, very dry and stiff! I thought of it more as a type of leave-in cream, but with heat protection and that gave better grip. I’ve been taking less and less each time, but it always leaves a slightly rough feeling in my thin dry hair. Fixing the hairstyle!
Since I have thin Scandinavian hair, I usually tend to be sparing with products because I don't want my hair to be weighed down. But for styling, this feels more like a friend to the hairstyle! The hair smells super good and it's great that it has built-in heat protection, but I still find it a bit difficult with the stiff feeling the hair gets, but that's how it is with all styling products. Pretty okay
I tried #björnaxén Volume Blow Dry Cream as #lykoinflutester. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t weigh the hair down, and I actually noticed a bit of extra lift at the roots. The scent is quite strong like a perfume, which I personally like. Unfortunately, I also found that my hair felt quite dry afterwards, especially in the lengths. It didn’t look directly damaged, but the feeling became a bit rougher than I like. Therefore, it probably suits someone who already has fairly soft or fine hair that needs hold, while drier hair types might need something more moisturizing on the side. It gives a nice lift from the roots and creates visible volume without weighing the hair down 🥰. After blow-drying, the hair feels soft, airy, and fuller, while the hairstyle holds its shape all day. As #influtester I have had the honor of trying Björn Axen's volume series, and below is my honest review. 👀 First impression .. was a direct wow on the scent! Super fresh and luxurious without being too heavy. The consistency feels like it might require quite a bit since it is a leave-in product, but I was heeelt wrong. It is economical and easy to distribute in the hair. On towel-dried hair, it feels very moisturizing without weighing it down or making it sticky. 🫧 Effect and result When you start blow-drying, you notice that the hair gets more hold and can feel a bit rougher, but that’s also what builds the volume. With a small amount of oil in the lengths, the final result was really nice! Airy, frizz-free, and with a lot of volume. I find that the hair is much easier to style, and since the hair feels fuller, it’s also easy to achieve volume with just your hands. A BIG bonus is that it works great even with tape extensions! 🌸 Summary A really, really good styling product when you want volume, hold, and a lasting hairstyle. Perfect for blow-drying or heat styling and a big plus for having heat protection as well. I have tested the Bjørn Axén Blow Dry Cream, and I am impressed! This cream actually gives the extra lift and volume in the hair that it promises — without weighing it down. The cream is light and creamy in texture, and it is easy to distribute evenly in the hair. It sits nicely between the hair strands without becoming sticky. I think it's a plus with cream products, so you can distribute it evenly in the hair, compared to sprays. What I liked best is how it gives visible volume — both when blow-drying and in the finished styled hair. The hair looks fuller and holds its shape well throughout the day. Good Hold
I have now tested the Björn Axén Volume Blow Dry Cream. I have used this product on towel-dried hair along with their Thickening Spray from the same line - then I blow-dried it dry. I feel that my Scandinavian fine hair gets a nice hold and gives the hair a good texture, and when I style my hair, I feel that it lasts longer. ✨ The scent is a very strong unisex scent, but that's not negative in my opinion. I have had the honor of testing products from the incredible Björn Axén again. I have loved their products in the past, so I was really excited to try their new formula and volume series! 😃 I also love their silver products – feel free to check them out too. I have long, fairly thick Scandinavian hair that has been bleached for many years, so during this part of the year, my hair needs all the moisture it can get. The hair feels rehydrated and soft as soon as I apply the cream, and after blow-drying, it gets a nice, fresh shine that really makes a difference. The only small downside is that the hair felt a bit rough at one point.
