I have been using Kevin Murphy HYDRATE-ME.WASH for about three weeks because I wanted to find a shampoo that moisturizes dry hair without weighing it down. My hair can feel dry and frizzy in the lengths, especially after heat styling, so a shampoo focused on moisture and shine quickly caught my interest. My hair is normal to dry and needs extra moisture to stay soft and manageable. Kevin Murphy HYDRATE-ME.WASH has a light, gel-based texture that lathers nicely and cleans both hair and scalp effectively without feeling drying. The shampoo rinses out easily and leaves a fresh, clean feeling. The scent is elegant and pleasant with a distinct salon vibe. The formula is rich in antioxidants and designed to help hair retain moisture, add shine, and reduce the appearance of dry, split ends. Additionally, the shampoo is sulfate- and paraben-free, making it gentle for daily use. After a few weeks of use, my hair felt softer, more moisturized, and easier to detangle. Frizz was reduced, and the lengths had a healthier shine without feeling heavy. Kevin Murphy HYDRATE-ME.WASH is especially suitable for normal to dry, moisture-deficient, or frizzy hair seeking a moisturizing shampoo with a light feel. The biggest advantage is that it cleans gently while adding moisture and shine. A small downside is that very oily hair might find the formula a bit too moisturizing and therefore prefer a deeper cleansing shampoo between washes.

Does what it should🥰
This is a moisturizing shampoo suitable for all hair types. I think it worked well on my dry, thick, and Nordic hair🥰 I also think it reduced frizz well☺️ Minus for the fact that I thought it smelled quite bad😅 Does the job and I will definitely use it up, but because of the smell, I probably won't buy it again☺️ #lykoreview #lyckocreatordeal #lykocreator #kevinmurphy #haircare

Very satisfied

Not worth the money
My hair at least becomes very tangled and stiff. Otherwise, I have pretty decent hair quality, a bit dry but not bleached and I don't use heat styling at all. But the scent lasts a long time at least.

Strong scent.
Very strong scent. Reminds me a bit of mosquito repellent in the fall. Moisturizes well, but the strong scent is a downside. The scent lingers in the hair for a long time.

Loyal since 2012 even though I've tried others
I would say 5/5 but the scent isn't my favorite, but it's okay. This moisturizes super well for dry scalp and hair. I found the product in 2012 and since then have on-off repurchased it when I can. I've tried many other moisturizing products, but the others usually weigh down my hair, unlike this one. And I have natural waves/curls.

EVERYTHING IN ONE FOR TYPICALLY SCANDINAVIAN HAIR 💌
A perfect moisturizing shampoo that gives typically Scandinavian hair moisture, frizz reduction, and just the right volume. I’m on my second bottle and will definitely continue with this moisture line! Right after the shower when the hair is still wet, it can feel "dry" and tangled. Don’t be fooled, because the hair becomes silky smooth when it’s both air-dried and blow-dried. My hair feels fluffy, smooth, airy, and easy to comb with this shampoo! If you have fine hair strands (but many) and typically Scandinavian hair like me, you will definitely love this! 💌 #lykoreview

A hydrating shampoo with a really pleasant and complex scent. My best bet is that it smells like kakadu plum, but also like some dark spices. I use this paired with the conditioner from the same series and they always leave my hair feeling really silky and moisturized. Now my hair is very dry and coarse, not to mention highlighted, so if any product manages to make it feel silky then you know it's a good product. #lykoreview
