No major difference…
I tested the Maria Nila Cool Cream in hopes of getting a cooler tone and refreshing my color between salon visits. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any major difference in the results. In the before-and-after pictures (right is after), you can see that the tone in the hair is basically the same – no noticeable toning down of the warm shades that I had expected. The positive is that the hair felt soft and moisturized after use, and the product is easy to apply. But when it comes to the promised color effect and cooling of the tone, it unfortunately didn’t live up to my expectations. I would say that this might be a product that works better for someone with an already cool tone who just wants to maintain the color, rather than actively neutralizing warmth. #marianila #hairreview #haircare #lyko #lykolooken #hårvård #blondhair #lykomission1 product in post No major difference…10537 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 1 yearI think there are a bit too weak pigments in it for your hair shade, I think it works better on lighter hair 🙂 I have tried Revlon's color packs and think they are better, and there are several "cool" shades you can use on blonde hair. One that has something with "mauve" (mauve blonde) and one that is called "light beige". I can also recommend Fanola's "no yellow" silver shampoo. Very affordable and has a bit more blue pigment (which is good for darker blonde hair) without risking being discolored.2 likes

Wella professional toning
I dyed my hair with Wella professional Colour touch Deep Brown Chocolate 6/7. Does this hair treatment suit it or should I stick to Wella's own product launches?1 product in post Wella professional toning136 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 1 out of 5verified customer
Worthless
I don't have particularly dark hair, but this made no difference in color at all. If you want a hair mask that makes your hair soft but colors everything except your own hair, it's perfect. Don't waste money on this expensive product!1 product in post Worthless185 views - The post was made 2 daysRating: 1 out of 5verified customer
Caramel Brown
I have naturally brown hair with many blonde highlights, used caramel brown. Started by testing on two spots in the underhair, the blonde highlights became more pink and the red tone came out clearly. But in the brown hair it looked nice. So I do not recommend it for anyone with bleached/blonde hair.1 product in post Caramel Brown264 views - The post was made 5 daysRating: 1 out of 5verified customer

Cool cream
I bleach highlights at the hairdresser without toning. After a color analysis, I should avoid silver tones but still keep the hair cool. Got a tip about this to remove the yellow pigments and move towards a more ashy tone. However, I'm worried it might get dark? After reading some reviews. Do you think this product could be good for my hair and what I want to try to achieve? Cool, without silver and still maintain lightness?1 product in post Cool cream1042 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 4 daysHi! I absolutely understand your concern! 😊 Maria Nila Colour Refresh 8.1 Cool Cream can be a good option for what you describe, as it adds cool pigments that tone down yellow/warm tones and give a cooler impression without being a classic silver shampoo/silver treatment. It is also temporary and gradually washes out, usually after a few washes 💜 However, I would be a bit cautious with the processing time since you have bleached highlights. Porous/bleached areas can absorb pigment significantly more than the rest of the hair, which is one reason some people experience the hair looking darker or more intense in tone. This does not mean the product actually lightens or darkens the hair permanently, but it can visually appear darker when the warm pigments are toned down and the hair gets a cooler tone. If your goal is cool but still light and without a distinct silver-gray feeling, I would therefore recommend starting carefully and doing a test strand first! You can also start with a short processing time and increase it at the next use if you want more effect. That way you see how your specific highlights react before applying to the whole hair ✨ An important thing is also that Colour Refresh cannot lighten the hair, so it will not make the highlights darker permanently, but the color pigments can give a deeper/cooler visual impression. Maria Nila also recommends that the product not be used before bleaching, so please inform your hairdresser if you use it before future highlighting treatments. Based on what you describe, I think 8.1 Cool Cream is worth trying, but I would definitely start with a test strand to make sure you get exactly the cool, light beige/ashy feeling you are after 🤍 Good luck!1 likes

Beige Brown
The beige-brown color on highlighted hair. Brown and light highlights. The hair leans towards wine red/purple, especially the lighter highlights. Also gives a nice shine. Probably works well on hair without highlights too.1 product in post Beige Brown771 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Nice color
Love it! Worked well on my previously bleached hair. Used the color Cacao which leaned a bit towards the warm side, a really nice autumn color. Since my hair is very damaged due to previous bleaching, Maria Nila Colour Refresh was the best choice to freshen up the color, as it also nourishes. The hair becomes so soft after this color treatment 😍 Picture no. 2 shows how my hair looked before.1 product in post Nice color1354 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 5 out of 5verified customer

Pearl Silver
Bought this to get rid of warm tones in my hair, but it made my hair darker. Went to the hairdresser and they couldn’t highlight my hair because they informed me that if I have used this, my hair can turn pink when bleached?? DO NOT USE ANY OF THESE COLORS IF YOU PLAN TO BLEACH MONTHS LATER1 product in post Pearl Silver891 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 weekHi Madelen! 😊 Thank you for sharing your experience! ✨ So unfortunate that the result wasn’t quite what you had hoped for 🤍 Pearl Silver contains semi-permanent color pigments, and the result can vary depending on the hair’s starting point, quality, and previous treatments. Shades from Colour Refresh also cannot lighten the hair. A tip is to always do a test strand before use to see how the color turns out on your specific hair. If you plan to bleach your hair later, it’s also important to inform your hairdresser that you have used Colour Refresh, as Maria Nila advises against bleaching if there are still pigments left in the hair 💗 Thank you for sharing your experience – we hope the information can be useful for others considering trying the product 🌸1 likes
