Staying power is insane!
What an excellent lip liner! It goes on surprisingly creamy, but once it dries this stuff is not going anywhere. If I put it on my hand and let it dry for a minute, I can rub it with full force and almost none comes off! But at the end of the day you can take it off with a little micellar water easily. I got two shades 07 Big Lift and 06 Line Leader. Both are excellent. Very flattering neutral and universally appealing colors. The only downside is you have to sharpen them, as a lazy girl I'd love a twist up liner. Maybelline Lift Liner Lip Liner x Smartson
05 On It turns into a rusty brown warm shade on me with a light neutral skin tone. Maybe a bit too warm for my taste, but I will still continue to use it since you can never have too many lip products to vary between 🤎💋. Easy-to-use pencil that was simple to get even with a slightly thicker tip, a lot of product applies at once. Quite creamy, and a matte finish. Scent: No strong noticeable scent (a plus in my opinion!) After about 5 hours of wear-testing where I both ate food and drank quite a bit of water, unfortunately a lot has disappeared. So not very long-lasting in my opinion. Completely okay, but I wished for a bit better durability. Easy to apply and looks great all day!
To begin with, I must say that I really appreciate the formula of this lip pencil. It has a silky feel that makes it very pleasant to apply, and even though it’s a pencil, it feels creamy rather than dry. This makes it glide easily over the lips without snagging or feeling rough, while also not feeling like you use an unnecessary amount of product with each application. It’s also very easy to work with, whether you want to define the lips or fill them in more fully. Once it’s in place, it stays looking nice without smudging, giving a neat and long-lasting result. I tested the product in the shade 05 On it, and I really loved the slightly more brownish color! In combination with a lipstick, it works especially well. Even though I didn’t quite like the color sent in the same package as the lip pencil, I have tried other lipsticks with this lip pencil, and the products have really stayed put despite various activities throughout the day. When removing makeup in the evening, it hasn’t been a problem to get the product off, which I really appreciate since I’m usually very tired after long days and don’t always have the energy to struggle with removing makeup. Overall, it’s a well-balanced product that combines comfort, precision, and durability in a very successful way. I will definitely use this product in my daily makeup routine going forward! I have tried the Maybelline Lifter Liner in the shade 05 On It and I really love the shade. It is a perfect nude color that goes with everything and gives a natural yet beautiful result. The pencil is creamy and easy to apply, making it simple to shape the lips without feeling dry. The color blends nicely and works both alone and together with lipstick or gloss. I appreciate that it gives a soft, defined result that lasts well throughout the day. This is definitely a new favorite in my makeup bag and I will absolutely continue to use it.
