Redken did it again! 🙏
Redken rarely disappoints me.. My hair, which is curly and thick, is hard to manage and hard to style. Frizz, dryness, and split ends that can be compared to a hay bale out on a hot summer day 🤯 But Redken actually succeeded with what many other products have disappointed me over in the past.. even products that are meant solely for frizzy hair have a hard time taming or nourishing my unruly hair. So, what benefits did I find in this product..? ●Less frizz! Hallelujah 👏 ●Visibly more shine ✨️ ●Softer and more manageable hair Did I find any downsides then..? Yes, I would call it a small luxury problem.. because my hair was so much softer (and hydrated?) I had trouble with the styling holding when I curled my hair, for example. Normally, I don’t need to use texture sprays or similar, but now the hair was so soft that the styling fell apart quite quickly 🤭 Another thing I noticed was that I felt like my hair got greasy a little faster than usual.. not a big problem for me, but it might be good to know 😊 I would have posted before and after pictures if it weren’t for the fact that I’m in a phase where I’m losing a lot of hair due to personal reasons. That wouldn’t give a fair representation of it. But I promise you would have seen the difference! 🙏 I believe you would notice a significant difference in your hair quality over time when using this series. I have tested the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo, Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner, and Acidic Bonding Concentrate 5-Min Mask together. Otherwise, good scent, good bottle, and so on! No issues there 😊 #lykoinflutester #redken1625 views - Most helpful negativeThe post was made 7 monthsRating: 1 out of 5Verifierad testare
My hair looked unwashed and oily
🙋♀️ My hair I have dry medium long hair. It is not treated in any way. My hair is naturally wavy and it’s very thin/fine so it gets damaged and dry at the ends very easily. I use hair straightener almost daily. 🧴 The packaging This product comes in a bottle with a holographic design. I do have to admit, it’s very similar to the shampoo bottle and I have mixed them up a few times so it would be nice if the design for either of these was different to avoid this. 👀 The texture and looks The product is white in color. The consistency is like a paste, very thick. It lathers up very easily so you don’t need a big amount to cover your whole hair. Which is good. 👃 The smell Like the shampoo from the same line, it’s VERY citrusy smell. It lingers after washing and drying so not recommended for smell sensitive people. 🤔 My opinion Before using this conditioner, I always first washed my hair with shampoo from the same line. And as with the shampoo, I also first noticed the smell and the AHA and citric acid components. The smell is overpowering and the AHA and citric acid did nothing for me except making me worried about sun damage to my scalp. Not a fan. I didn’t see any benefits from this conditioner. If anything, my hair felt dry at the ends and extremely greasy on the top/middle. It felt/looked so greasy, it looked like I haven’t washed my hair for weeks. You know the feeling when you have a lot of product in your hair and it just makes your hair oily? That’s how it felt after using this conditioner. I rinsed my hair super well, until the water was not soaping any more to be sure I got all of the product out, but still, it felt like there was more stuck in my hair. I absolutely hated it! 1 star, cannot recommend. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #REDKEN1223 views - The post was made 3 hoursRating: 4 out of 5
Review 2
I have been testing this hair care series for about two weeks now, which feels a bit too short to give a completely fair overall assessment. But so far, my impression is positive. The products have a fairly thick and creamy consistency that feels luxurious and easy to work into the hair. The hair gets thoroughly clean after washing and feels soft and smooth afterward, without being weighed down. The scent is also very nice and fresh without being too strong. The packaging also feels sleek and pleasant to have out in the bathroom. So far, I am satisfied! Wished for more moisture and care for brittle hair
I have tried the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner and my impression is a bit mixed. I like both the scent and the bottle — the product feels luxurious and pleasant to use in the shower. The consistency is also good, nicely creamy and easy to distribute in the hair. Unfortunately, the conditioner did not have the effect I had hoped for. After washing, I did not feel that my hair became particularly soft or easy to detangle, which is something I prioritize in a conditioner. I also missed a moisturizing feeling, as the hair did not feel more hydrated or supple after use. In summary, it is a conditioner that feels good upon application and has a pleasant scent, but unfortunately did not deliver sufficient care or softness for my hair. I have Scandinavian hair with thin strands that are "fragile" in the lengths. I tested the product via Smartson and received it for free.5 views - The post was made 4 hoursRating: 4 out of 5
Test pilot!
For under 2 weeks, I have had the opportunity to test shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in treatment from RedKen's Acidic Bonding Concentrate series. I have Scandinavian, colored, quite damaged hair where shine is generally very hard to achieve. The scent of all the products is unfortunately not a favorite of mine; it lingers quite a long time, which lowers the rating. The products are economical, have a pleasant formula, and despite only 2 weeks of use, I feel that my hair is significantly softer and also looks shinier. However, I feel that the ends have become more damaged and that the damage is even more visible than before. The hair also feels dirty faster and gets greasy easily, so I have had to wash it more often than before. (Usually wash my hair every third day, but now it’s been every other day instead) So for me, there are both pros and cons. Would I buy the products at full price? No, I wouldn’t, but on sale, absolutely! The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the test pilot got to try the product for free.1 views - The post was made 4 hoursRating: 5 out of 5
Very satisfied so far🩷
I have quite thick hair with many visible broken strands. I have used this together with the shampoo and Hair Bonding Balm from the same series for about two weeks, and I am very satisfied so far. The hair feels soft, smooth, and shiny, and is easy to brush. It is too early to say anything about the repairing effect, but the hair already looks healthier and nicer. I will definitely continue to use the product. Just okay
Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner I have tested this conditioner over a couple of weeks, and this is what I have experienced. It is an okay conditioner. It smells a bit like chewing gum, but I don't mind the scent. If you don't like fragrance, this series is probably not the right one. I have fine hair and find that I need to use quite a bit of product since it doesn't soften as much as I would like. New Favorite
I have had the chance to try Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in for two weeks through Smartson. My first impression of the products was that I thought they smelled good, which, when I read others' comments, I seem to be a bit alone in; several say it has a strong masculine scent. I think it smells mild and maybe a little floral. After reading several others' opinions, I no longer trust my own nose, but I at least think it is a mild scent that smells nice. I wash my hair twice with shampoo and then apply conditioner. I like both the shampoo and conditioner for my somewhat thin Scandinavian hair. It feels clean, soft, and light. The leave-in product neither makes the hair oily nor heavy. It becomes soft and feels moisturized. My experience after two weeks is that I really like the whole set a lot. The only negative I have is that I feel my freshly washed feeling disappears faster than before. From washing my hair every third day before, I now feel my hair gets greasier and I want to wash it every two days instead. Best conditioner on the market!
I have tested this conditioner for a few weeks together with #Redken acidic bonding concentrate shampoo and am very satisfied with the result! I have noticed less frizz and more shine, as well as a lighter feeling in my hair. The conditioner is very creamy, which makes the hair SO soft! It also smells really good and summery. When I use this product, my hair doesn’t feel as damaged, I think it makes the hair look healthier and more glowing. Highly recommend! ⭐️ I’m attaching a before and after picture of when I have used the product. *The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product for free.10 views - The post was made 8 hoursRating: 4 out of 5
Conditioner Test
White and nice bottle that stands stable, even upside down. The conditioner is white and soft in the hand. The hair feels soft and moisturized when applied and when rinsed out. The product is economical and you don’t need much to cover long hair. The scent is clean, fresh, and pleasant. Unsure how it works with repairing bonds, but I hope it does; however, I haven’t noticed anything. Maybe it requires several months of use. Anyway, it works well on my long straight hair that is frizzy, dry, and has broken strands in the lengths. Good conditioner
I have been using this product for 3 weeks now. My hair is very frizzy and dry, and I feel like I can see and feel a big difference when I have used the product. Also, you really don’t need to use much product before you can see and feel the difference. Will definitely buy again, even though it is on the expensive side compared to what else is out there. Also, it smells really good!
