This is a real steal! 🤗

So, do you see how big the packaging is? There’s double the amount in this compared to most face creams (100 vs 50ml) and the price is still low. Bravo! 👏🏻 It’s a tube with a snap cap, and even though it feels fancier with a heavy glass jar, one wonders what is really worth more for the environment, shipping, and price... and honestly, it’s nice to avoid spatulas or worry about getting bacteria in the jar. I also think The Ordinary has managed to make the tube as pretty as it can be! This is a rich moisturizer. For me, it’s perfect to start using now in the fall/winter when the skin wants to be properly nourished. In the summer or warmer climates, it would feel a bit heavy. It has no scent, is white, and relatively economical. It doesn’t say whether it’s a day or night cream, so I interpret it as an “allround,” which suits me perfectly! Since it provides so much moisture, I’d rather add something extra in the evening, and this one. Yaa.., nah... I can’t think of anything negative even when I try 🤌

    So there

I've been using it for about 2 weeks and I don't like it, I won't buy it again. It leaves a sticky consistency.

    Ordinary

Very moisturizing! The product does have a pretty thick consistency, so it applies best if you mix in something a bit lighter. The only downside is the difficulty in absorption. #lykorewiew

    Good ingredients, not thick

Now that it's winter, I feel that this product is too thin. I like that the ingredients in the production are okay for health and well thought out.

    Dry

I have used the product for 7 days. My skin feels dry after use and I have developed redness on my cheeks. I also see a few pimples, which I have never had before. I read many positive comments and was looking for a moisturizing cream. But unfortunately, this was not for me. I will, however, give it a bit more time to see if my skin gets used to it. I might need to combine it with another product to achieve the desired result.

    Combo

Is this ideal for dry skin and are there any serums or similar that this won't work with, e.g. glycolic acid toner, hyaluronic acid, or niacinamide?

Description
Ingredients

The Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) is a group of elements that, together with epidermal lipids, keep the outer layer of the skin protected and well-hydrated. NMF are made up of water-loving compounds, including multiple amino acids, urea, glycerin, saccharides, sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid. Skin lipids are oil-loving and mostly composed of ceramides, fatty acids, cholesterol and many other compounds that are naturally present in the skin. This formula offers non-greasy hydration that mimics the hydration supporting effects of the skin's own NMF and lipid components. It contains 11 amino acids, phospholipids, alpha/beta/gamma fatty acids, triglycerides, sterols and sterol esters, glycerin, ceramide precursors, urea, saccharides, sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid. It offers immediate hydration and lasting results with continued use. This formula offers non-greasy hydration that acts as a direct topical supplement of impaired NMF components.
