What kind of routine can I create with these skincare products?

I have long suffered from various types of skin issues (dryness, acne, acne scars, redness, and large pores) and have tried many different products that haven't felt helpful. I just bought several skincare products that I hope will help, but I'm not sure in what order to use the products or what a good and effective skincare routine would be. I would also gladly accept product recommendations that could complement my routine.

Like a time travel, but the bad kind 🥹

I have had acne problems since my teenage years, where it has gone in waves. A little over two years ago, I finally went to a dermatologist and got help. I was on isotretinoin for a little over 7 months and finally got rid of it. Since I stopped the treatment, I have only gotten a few isolated pimples. I use Niactil, which I love, and it has been great. But I thought about alternating with another serum with niacinamide to stretch it a bit. I wanted to try this since it had mostly received very good reviews. I am always cautious with new products and introduce them slowly and one at a time. I know that the skin can react to new products and that there can be “purging.” But I got a lot of new and inflamed pimples, big and painful. When I stopped using it, they disappeared; it might have stopped if I had continued. But I didn’t want to risk it getting worse again now that it has finally gotten better 🥹 #lykoreview

Great review! Bummer, sad that it didn't work. Nice that it's good again. 🥰☀️

    A favorite

Yeah, but what can you say? It's a classic for a reason. Just strong enough for people who want an "easy skincare routine." This particular large bottle is made to work as a bigger one with a long dropper and a sturdy bottom. I love that it doesn't just run like water when applied, but is thick enough to stay somewhat in place until you start massaging it in! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    The Ordinary Niacinamide

I've heard that this can be used to lighten underarms, is that true? I've used The Ordinary's Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner (7%), and the skin under my arms has maybe lightened a bit, but it hasn't helped that much. (The darkness is not due to shaving but from skin rubbing together). Can this be used on underarms, or is there another product containing niacinamide? If yes, how much should be used?

Hi! 😊👋 Yes, niacinamide can be a good addition if you want to treat a darker skin tone in the underarm area, especially if the discoloration is caused by friction and irritation rather than shaving. Niacinamide is known to help even out skin tone and strengthen the skin’s protective barrier over time. Please note that results often come gradually, and it can take several weeks or even months to notice a clear difference. If you are already using glycolic acid, it’s best to introduce niacinamide slowly to avoid irritation. You could try The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, for example. Apply a few drops to clean, dry skin once a day at first. If your skin feels good, you can then increase usage to morning and evening. Have a wonderful day! 😊

    Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

This has a super effective effect. It removes bumps on the face and is light on the skin. One downside is that it can "foam" a bit if you blend the serum quickly into the skin.

    the ordinary niacinamide

my favorite serum!! Always buy this serum, it really helps my skin and gets rid of bumps on my forehead, never had problems with my skin but started getting a lot of pimples on my forehead and then bought this again after not using it for a few months and trying a new serum, as soon as I started using it again everything disappeared.

    Works fine

Worked fine, but I switched to the emulsion instead which feels much lighter on the skin. If you absolutely want a serum, buy it!

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% – the budget serum that has become a skincare classic

I have tested The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, and it’s easy to see why this product has become so popular. If you have oily, combination, or acne-prone skin and want to work on visible pores, uneven skin texture, and excess oil, this is a serum that’s definitely worth trying. The first thing I noticed was the light, water-based consistency. The serum absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. After a few weeks of use, I noticed my skin looked smoother, felt less oily during the day, and had a nicer texture. The product contains 10% niacinamide (vitamin B3) and 1% zinc PCA, a combination that helps improve skin radiance, strengthen the skin barrier, and reduce visible shine. A big advantage is that the serum fits into almost any skincare routine. It works both morning and night and is especially appreciated by people who want their skin to look clearer and more balanced over time. Pros: ✔ Helps reduce visible oiliness ✔ Can make pores less noticeable ✔ Evens out skin tone and texture ✔ Light and fast-absorbing formula ✔ Very affordable for the amount of active ingredient Cons: ✖ Can feel somewhat drying for very dry skin ✖ Some may experience irritation from the high niacinamide content initially I would especially recommend this to those who want an effective serum against shiny skin, visible pores, and uneven skin texture without spending a lot of money. For me, it feels like one of the most affordable skincare products on the market. #lykocreator #lykoreview #beauty #lyko

Yep, it’s good. I use it a couple of times a week, the other times the jorgobe niacinamide serum. 🤩

I always have this at home and it does a lot for my pores. When I don't have this in my routine, I notice a difference in my skin.
