Addictive!
How could I have missed this before, it is such a scent that if someone walks by and has it on, you turn around and want to know what perfume it is... it is not like any other perfume I have tried. 🥰 Lovely, sensual, sweet, floral, warm, lightly spicy, yes it is so addictive. It can be experienced as very intense and strong at first, but when it settles, a lovely, calming, sensual scent comes that, yes, I can't find words for it. 😇❤️ Creamy warm and sweet vanilla with cashmere. Wait a moment, then the perfume settles like a thin aura around you and is not at all strong but more like a hint of a dream. ❤️ It always helps me when I want to buy a new perfume to know what the people who bought it like for other scents. So I will mention some scents I like and use myself. I know this perfume has been hyped for a long time, but I really understand why. It smells SO good. I also think it settles differently, but always fresh and feminine. I will always continue to buy Born In Roma. I have almost (there's a little bit left) used up this little sample of Valentino's perfume Born in Roma. The scent is lovely. Sweet and fresh, sensual, warm, and smells young. Incredibly good. As mentioned, it is sweet, but not at all sticky or heavy, should be added. Fragrance notes of black currant, bergamot, jasmine, and vanilla, among others. I feel that you can really sense the freshness that should come from black currant and bergamot, and the sweet floral from jasmine. However, I don't sense any vanilla at all. Super good, sweet, and sensual. My objections are that I think (there seem to be divided opinions on the sustainability) that the scent disappears quite quickly. And I probably still think it smells a bit too youthful (a matter of taste) for me… Difficult and tricky to rate, I think. One of my absolute favorites. I love to combine this with Rituals body cream from the series The Ritual of Ayurveda. The combination really highlights the lovely scents of vanilla and pink pepper in the perfume. It smells so good and lasts really long, especially when you use a cream underneath. It can feel strong at first, but the scent just gets better and better as it settles. I recommend this to everyone, especially those who love vanilla, as this perfume is a perfect choice.
