Lovely serum!
As one of Lyko's Influtesters, I got to try this product and my opinion about it is 100% my own. ✨ My age and skin type: 36 years old. I have combination skin but sometimes get dry patches on my face. My skin sometimes feels dehydrated and tight despite an oily T-zone. Prone to small pimples on the face, possibly hormonal. Relatively large pores. Slight redness on the cheeks. ✨ Packaging: Nice glass bottle, feels a bit luxurious. I don’t love serum bottles with pumps because 50% of the time the product splatters. I prefer a dropper where I can better control how much serum I want. ✨ The product and results: The results are really good. I feel that the pores around my nose have become significantly smaller after using it morning and night. The skin texture also feels smoother. Plus fewer breakouts of small pimples. A product I will continue to use. Very gentle product that can be used every day. ✨ Price: Currently a good price due to discount, otherwise it costs 215 SEK which is an okay price. I got to try serum, day cream, and night cream 💫 The serum is very liquid and light in texture. The packaging is really nice, the glass bottle and pump scream luxury to me. However, the glass bottle feels a bit risky in the bathroom if you have wet or sticky hands, so you have to be a bit careful there. 😅 Unfortunately, I also got a skin reaction from the serum. I therefore tested all the products separately to try to figure out which one I reacted to, but I get a reaction from all of them. This has never happened to me before with other skincare products in my 30 years, so it simply seems to be something in this series that my skin doesn't agree with. Moisturizing but not particularly economical 💧🤔
I have now tested ACO's new Purifying Booster Day & Night Serum and have to say that I am a bit torn about this one. It definitely feels like a nice serum, but not quite what I'm looking for. The first thing I noticed is the consistency; it's very thin for my taste. I also don't find it particularly economical; instead of one pump like I usually take from a regular serum, it feels like I need to press about 3 times on this one to get the right amount! 😅 However, it feels moisturizing on the skin and absorbs quickly, which I really like. It doesn't leave an uncomfortable feeling and is therefore very easy to combine with the rest of the skincare routine, both morning and evening. It also gets bonus points for the packaging! Good, but not fantastic
This time I had the honor as #LYKOINFLUTESTER to test some new skincare products from #aco, including this Face Purifying Booster Serum (BHA). It is described as a multifunctional serum with BHA (Salicylic Acid) that is supposed to even out, soothe, and strengthen the skin as well as prevent impurities. About me and my skin: I have oily/combination skin and have had some problems with pimples and many impurities. My skin doesn’t tolerate much perfume, and sometimes when I use products with active ingredients, my skin barrier can’t quite handle it. 😣 First impression: The packaging is nice and sleek, but also easy to use. The serum is light and has low viscosity – it almost feels like applying water to the skin in my opinion! Result: A bit scary sometimes with active ingredients, but this did not destroy my skin barrier. Fair price, but I think there are better and cheaper serums – at least for me. It didn’t do more than other serums have done for my skin; moisturized a bit and reduced some of my pores. And unlike some skincare products, at least my skin didn’t get worse from this. There are better ones
💙As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this serum from #aco!💙 The consistency is almost like water, and the serum fully absorbs into the skin, which I really liked. It leaves no sticky residue at all. I didn’t get any new acne breakouts while using it, and the acne breakout I had along my jaw when I started the test completely healed after about three weeks, which you can see in my before and after pictures. However, I’m more doubtful about the effect on blackheads and sebaceous filaments. Even though the serum contains BHA, I didn’t notice any improvement in my blackheads and almost felt that my sebaceous filaments became more prominent. Of course, I can’t say for sure that it was because of the serum. For the acne, my experience was positive, but I had expected more effect on clogged pores from a BHA serum. I have tested other similar serums that are stronger or better formulated. However, I do feel that I didn’t get as many pigment spots from the breakout, which this serum may have contributed to along with the day and night creams that are also supposed to have exfoliating effects! As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this serum from #aco. I have combination skin that I unfortunately only care for sporadically. This serum did not become a favorite. I will use it up but not buy it again. The glass bottle gives a luxurious impression, but the pump does not. The serum is watery and easy to massage into the skin. As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to try the #ACO Purifying series. Day Cream, Booster Serum (BHA), and Night Balm. I have combination skin and use skincare daily. The packaging is nice, and I like the small pump bottle. It feels both cute and easy to use. The serum has a very light and thin, liquid consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin. The serum is supposed to help reduce the visibility of pores and dark pigmentation. Honestly, I haven't noticed any major difference so far. Nice and lightweight serum
As a Lyko Influtester, I had the opportunity to try the Face Purifying Booster Serum from ACO. Serum is rarely a daily part of my skincare routine but a nice companion to both day and night creams. I have some oilier areas on my face and a few drier spots. The consistency of the serum is very light and absorbs quickly into the skin after application. It comes in a nice packaging, but the application can be a bit tricky as I feel the nozzle didn’t quite work well with the loose consistency. It has no distinct scent, which makes it suitable for everyone. Since it absorbs quickly into the skin, it works well under creams. I combined it with ACO’s Purifying Night Balm, which has made my skin look more refreshed in the morning and also reduced the visibility of pores. Pretty okay
As a Lyko influencer, I got to test this serum, here is my opinion I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, dry cheeks, and it is also somewhat sensitive. Therefore, I hoped this serum would be a good addition to my skincare routine. There is really a lot that makes this product incredibly pleasant to use. First of all, I really like the bottle – it’s super nice, feels handy, and looks great in the bathroom cabinet. The texture itself is also amazing, and the product absorbs into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. Unfortunately, I still have to give a rather lukewarm rating in the end. Despite regular use, I unfortunately haven’t noticed any difference in my skin. Pretty standard
As a #influtester, I got to test the purifying series from #aco. I used the combination of booster serum, day and night cream over a period. I have combination skin with both dry and oily areas and often get pimples even though I am 36 years old, but I choose to think of them as teenage pimples 😉 I don’t have sensitive skin by definition, but I am under investigation for MCAS as my skin can flare up unprovoked. This tends to happen when I change my skincare routine, but to my great joy, I didn’t react at all when testing this series! 🎉 First impression is that it was a very sleek series with good packaging. That it is fragrance-free is a plus since it also suits sensitive noses, so to speak. The serum itself gets a slightly higher score because it has a handy pump bottle and I find it very nice not having to screw caps on and off. It also dispenses a good amount when you pump out the serum. A little goes a long way and that applies to the whole series; it doesn’t take much product to work it over the entire face. The serum is absorbed smoothly by the skin and doesn’t leave any strange residue or anything like that. It’s hard to separate the reviews when it comes to results since I used the series in combination. But what I noticed was that I first got worse with more pimples, which I think is a completely normal reaction from the skin regardless of when you change your skincare routine. But it settled down after a while and went back to normal. Unfortunately, it’s normal for me to have some pimples, so it didn’t get better or worse compared to before. Price-wise, I would say it’s a very good price for the amount you get. Will I switch to this routine? Doubtful, since I didn’t get better results than my usual routine gives me, but I will use up all the products. For those looking for a new routine, I definitely think it’s worth trying and would recommend it. The double picture is before changing the skincare routine and a few days in. Affordable serum✨
As a #lykoinflutester, I have received products from the purifying series from #aco ✨ I have used the products daily for about a month, so here is my review of the serum: My skin type is combination, oily in the T-zone with a tendency to dry patches. I also tend to get acne and clogged pores easily. Over the years, I have tested several serums with similar ingredients. This one is definitely one of the better ones. Partly because of the price and what it does. I will definitely order a new one when this one runs out. The serum has a very light and runny consistency that quickly absorbs into the skin, just how I like my serum 🤩 It keeps impurities away and can be used morning and evening even if you have sensitive skin. (Just don’t forget SPF during the day) The best effect is achieved together with the other products in the series (day cream and night cream). Definitely 5/5 🌟36 views
