I have pretty dry skin that I usually pump with moisture during the winter months. I have used the Hydrating Hyaluronic Essence as one of the last steps in my skincare routine, just before my moisturizer, both day and night, and I am very satisfied. The bottle is practical and easy to dose, and the consistency is somewhat sticky, which means the product doesn't run away but is easy to apply evenly over the skin. The essence feels immediately hydrating and gives a pleasant feeling that the skin is really getting moisture deep down. After application, the skin feels calm, soft, and balanced, without being left sticky or heavy. The scent is mild and discreet, which I appreciate – it feels neither over-perfumed nor disturbing. I also notice that the skin stays hydrated longer throughout the day, and the product works excellently under makeup. I got to test this product along with two other products from Emma S. for a couple of weeks as #lykoinflutester <3 What I like about the packaging: - I have a weakness for pink... Everything pink goes straight home with me. So the bottle fits right into my aesthetic universe. - The screw cap is practical and easy to open, and it's easy to pour the product into my hand. - Plastic bottle that can withstand pressure and doesn't risk opening or breaking while traveling! Now to the product itself and its use. My skin is normal, but now in the fall I like a little extra moisture in my skincare routine, as the air gets cooler outside and drier and warmer inside. Since this is a moisturizing serum, it fits perfectly right now! Even though it says it's a facial water, this is a thin gel-like essence that is neither solid nor completely liquid, it reminds me a bit of a snail serum, if you're familiar with the consistency of that! It says you can use either your hands or a cotton pad to apply the product. I tried both; with cotton it just got messy and it was hard to distribute and rub it in properly. Use your hands, and - this is important: use a little! A couple of drops is enough for the whole face! It's super economical in use and feels fresh and moisturizing on the face. I also use it on my neck and down my chest for a little extra moisture and glow there too. I let it absorb for a couple of minutes before applying cream, and it doesn't pill up under the cream. I really liked this and will use it both morning and night throughout the fall and winter for a lovely moisture boost! The only thing that brings it down is the strong smell... It smells strongly of fabric softener (I think), so if I were to change anything, it would be that. And that's why I take away one star. But other than that; totally great! I have tested 3 products from Emma S. in the last month. For the other products, feel free to check out the respective product page 🌸 I have used this product directly after cleansing my face for extra moisture, I chose to apply it to my face instead of patting it in as I found that it worked better for me. After that, I let it sink in, and then used a serum for extra moisture. 🎀MY SKIN - Combination skin, gets very dry during the winter months, which results in me becoming oily - Prone to breakouts and clogged pores - A bit sensitive to scented products and vitamin C 🎀PLUS - Very easy to use - Provides the skin with some extra moisture - Works very well with other products - Incredibly economical product, not much is needed. 🎀MINUS - I think it smells a bit too much like perfume, I sometimes have a hard time with scented products on my face. - A bit pricey for being an “extra” product in my routine, I would rather spend the money on a serum in this price range than a facial toner. 🎀OVERALL OPINIONS The consistency of this is totally to my liking! It is thin and a bit gel-like, and I find that it absorbs very quickly because of that. I also find that this works well in combination with other products. I would recommend this for someone who is very dry and feels that their skincare routine needs an extra step. Visible lines and pores. This essence has become a new lovely addition to my skincare routine. It has a mild rosy/powdery scent and has a thicker consistency which is incredibly pleasant on the skin. After use, you get a nice glow, moisture, and a very pleasant feeling without any sense of heaviness and too much product. I feel that it was exactly what I needed on these cold autumn days. This product quickly became a new favorite of mine – I actually didn't know I needed such a product until I tried it! 🫶🏻 The facial water has a mild, clean scent (I think it reminds me a bit of roses), and the consistency is just right – not as thin as other facial waters that have a watery consistency, but a bit thicker, which I found lovely! Good hydration for dry skin
I’ve been using the Hydrating Hyaluronic Essence for a while now, and overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the results. The biggest plus for me is the hydration—it’s effective! Moisturizing toner 🩷
I have tested this toner as #lykoinflutester, along with moisturizer and enzyme peel from #emmas 🫧 The bottle is cute (pink<3) and practical, and the formula is a bit thicker than expected! I have used a cotton pad to apply it to the skin, but you can also easily use your fingers to avoid wasting product. The product feels a bit like a mix between a toner and a moisturizing serum, and the skin becomes very plump and "bouncy" after use! I really liked this. It also smells veeeery good - a combination of rose and pure 💆🏼♀️ Even though the toner is thick, it absorbs quickly into the skin! I have used this at night in combination with Hydrating Intense Cream - and they are truly a moisturizing duo! I use them every night, and my skin feels so hydrated and fresh every morning, perfect now in the fall when the skin gets a bit tighter and dull. Absolutely new favorite! Hydrating Hyaluronic Essence is a deeply hydrating facial toner enriched with two different Hyaluronic Acids that add lots of moisture to dry and dull skin. The essence also contains a bio-active Plum Extract that stimulates the skin's own production of Hyaluronic Acid and has antioxidant properties which protects the skin against free radicals.
Use:
