I like everything about it but the smell...
🙋♀️ I have dry medium long hair. It is not treated in any way. My hair is naturally wavy and it’s very thin/fine so it gets damaged and dry at the ends very easily. I use hair straightener almost daily. 📦 The packaging The product comes in a lilac colored bottle. I like that it has specific bold purple color on the front so you can differentiate it from the shampoo bottle. The design is sleek and simple, just like shampoo bottle. I like that they added the instructions on the bottle! This was one thing I missed in their old volume line and I’m glad they listened to customers voices. Nice job! 👀 The texture and looks The conditioner looks and feels like any other conditioner. It’s exactly what you’d expect. It’s very thick and bouncy cream conditioner, white in color. The product didn’t feel heavy or greasy, it was easy to distribute it all over my hair and it was easy to wash it off. 👃 The smell Like all other products in this volume line, it smells like cut grass. The smell is powerful and it lingered in my hair until I washed it again. 🤔 My opinion I used this conditioner right after the shampoo from the same line. I got volume, as you can see from the pictures but I honestly cannot say is it from shampoo, conditioner or both combined since I always used them together. And I don’t care. I got volume in my hair AND my hair is soft. Which is a win for me. My ends didn’t split and didn’t dry out (as you can see on the picture). So the conditioner kept them hydrated despite me ironing my hair almost every day. Win! The only thing I have an issue with is the smell. I really don’t like it!! I love the products in this line and I really love this conditioner but the smell is just so bad to me. I don’t want my hair to smell like freshly cut grass. And the smell is strong, it cannot be ignored (at least not by me). Nice but not wow
I have tested #BJÖRNAXEN Volume Conditioner together with Volume Shampoo, have previously used the Volume series in mousse (which I got in a goodie bag from Björn Axén after my wedding 2024, and still have left in the bottle 😂) volumizing spray and blow dry cream. I just got my hair cut shorter and don’t have as much layering in my hair anymore, but at the same time it’s not as heavy as it was before, so I was excited to see what the volume series could offer my new look 🥳 The conditioner is thick and lasts a long time, and the scent is lovely! My husband sniffs a little extra at my head after I’ve used the series, I’ve noticed, hehe 🥰 For what it promises, I wouldn’t say it gives a wow effect, but it definitely gives a little extra puff compared to when I just use my old regular moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. #LYKOINFLUTESTER79 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Wins in airflow, loses in moisture
I have as #lykoinflutester gotten to test this conditioner from #björnaxen, which pleased me, as I think their dry shampoo is the best (I prefer not to use anything else). These are the first products from them (I have tested several in the series) that I use that are not mentioned dry shampoo. My hair 🧬 It is smooth, narrow, and fine Scandinavian hair. The hair is untreated and hard to style. Products tend to sit on top or slide off it. I really never need to brush my hair. First impression 🌸 This conditioner smells wonderful! Exactly what it smells like is hard to put a finger on. It might be floral, with a bit of spice? It is definitely not just sweet, but it has something extra. Usage 🚿 I have tried both putting the conditioner in all my hair and just on the lengths. If I put it in all my hair and blow-dry afterwards, my hair doesn’t get greasy for several days (but then I have to blow-dry along the part). If I don’t feel like blow-drying, I just put it on the lengths. Result ✨ Afterwards, my hair feels clean and airy. Some conditioners make my hair feel weighed down and greasy, or like a film, especially conditioners that are supposed to “give nourishment” or “shine.” This conditioner promises volume and cleansing, and it certainly delivers! Although volume might be a strong expression. “A certain lift” I would rather say. Moisture 🌾 But what you gain in airflow, you lose in moisture. I don’t think the conditioner in question moisturizes the hair particularly well. I let it sit in extra long, or I choose to complement it with some lighter hair mask. Otherwise, my hair feels dry and the ends feel slightly straw-like. Overall impression ⭐ This is a conditioner with a good scent that contributes to clean and airy hair that has swing potential (which is good). Pretty okay conditioner for dry hair
I have been given the fun task of testing @Björn Axén's new volume series! I have previously tried – and then also bought – their Cool Blonde series, so my expectations were high… However, I don't really think this conditioner delivers as well as the Cool Blonde conditioner on my hair. I love when my hair feels really soft and smooth afterwards, and I never skimp on either hair mask or conditioner – my hair definitely needs to be properly moisturized. Since I bleach my hair quite often (most recently yesterday, so the day after the video was filmed), it needs extra moisture, and this is, after all, a volume conditioner. For the right hair type, I really think this conditioner can work really well – especially if you want more airiness and don't need as much weight and moisture as I do. As #lykoinflutester I have had the honor to test a product from #björnaxen😍 The product is volume conditioner😍 I have used Björn Axén Volume conditioner for a while and my overall impression is positive. 🤩 My hair is thin and fine, which means it easily becomes flat and can quickly feel greasy. The conditioner is very concentrated, and you don’t need to use much to get an effect (with some conditioners, you have to use a substantial amount for it to feel good and for the hair to be detangled and feel soft). After I combed my hair and blow-dried it, my hair feels very soft, easy to comb, and not dry or coarse. I mostly used the conditioner on the lengths and a little bit at the roots since my hair tends to feel greasy very quickly (not due to the conditioner itself). The scent is very fresh, which I appreciate because it doesn’t become too strong or sweet. The hair feels airy after washing and stays fresh for about two days. However, I don’t experience any noticeable wow-volume from just the shampoo and conditioner. To achieve more hold and volume, you need to complement with styling products (and then from the same series that I tested, which are highly recommended😍). In summary, it’s a good conditioner, but for the best volume, extra products are definitely required. Björn Axén Volume Conditioner
I got to test the conditioner that is part of Björn Axén's volume series. Just like the shampoo, the conditioner has the same signature scent, which is one of my favorite features of the product. Furthermore, I appreciate that the conditioner is economical and lasts a long time. I also think that my hair feels both healthy & soft afterwards. The bottle is identical to the shampoo and has the same effective application and aesthetically pleasing expression. Just like the shampoo, I find that the conditioner itself doesn't work wonders for my naturally flat hair, but with the help of the styling products in the series, the volume blooms out. Moisturizing & light in the hair 💆🏼♀️
I have fine, Scandinavian, and bleached hair, so I am quite picky when it comes to conditioner. It must not weigh down, but it still has to make the hair soft and easy to detangle. And I actually think this conditioner delivers. The hair feels immediately softer after washing, and it is much easier to comb through, which is a big plus for my bleached hair. I also find that it feels moisturized without becoming flat or greasy. It feels fresh and “airy” in a good way. The scent is the same as the shampoo, fresh with a light fruity note, but not sweet or heavy. Very pleasant and feels luxurious in the shower. When it comes to volume and fullness, however, I don’t notice any significant difference so far. No wow effect or extra lift as far as I can see, but I think I might need to give it a bit more time and test it even more in combination with their styling products. Wishing for more moisture
I have had the honor of testing shampoo, conditioner, and some styling products from Björn Axén's volume series. To start with, I will describe my hair. I would say I have typical Scandinavian hair. It is quite thin but with a lot of hair strands and very flat. If I don't style my hair or use any special products, it is very flat and without volume. As for the product, I think the bottle is very pretty, and I like the cap, which is very easy to handle in the shower with wet hands. I also think it smells good, a bit unisex in scent. The first thing I reacted to was that it said to use the conditioner on both lengths and the scalp; for me, who very easily gets an oily scalp, conditioner on the scalp is a big no-no!! So I stuck to using the product only on the lengths. The product is thicker in consistency and is easy to distribute in the hair. After washing, the hair is easy to comb through, which I think is important with a conditioner! However, I don't think the product provides much moisture. My hair doesn't get dry from the product, but I wish for more moisture in a conditioner and preferably a little extra shine. The hair does look a bit fuller, so it does provide some form of volume, even if it's not overly much. So to summarize: the product is totally okay. The hair is easy to detangle but doesn't provide much moisture, which I wish for in a conditioner. I have as #lykoinflutester tested some products from #björnaxen. Now it's time for a review of their Volume Conditioner. A bit about my hair: ⭐️ Thin and frizzy ⭐️ Quite dry lengths but oily scalp ⭐️ My hair usually prefers moisturizing products ⭐️ Washes hair every other day The bottle is sleek and looks nice on the shower shelf. It's hard to get the product out of the bottle for some reason, you have to shake the bottle hard several times to get it out. The conditioner has a thick and creamy consistency and is easy to distribute in the hair. What makes me hesitate about this conditioner is that it states it should be used on the scalp, normally conditioner is applied to the lengths, and since my scalp tends to be oily, I hesitate to use this there. The scent is not a favorite, it smells strong. A bit like a men's fragrance, it doesn't smell bad just strongly masculine. And the scent lingers in the hair afterwards. I used the conditioner as the instructions said and massaged it into the lengths and scalp. I feel that the conditioner is not very moisturizing as my hair became quite dry and felt rough afterwards, which in a way made it okay to use the conditioner on the scalp as I didn't notice any negative effect there. Volume-wise, I didn't notice much difference, possibly the hair felt a bit airier afterwards. Not for thin and frizzy hair..?
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this volume conditioner from #björnaxen 💜 I, the tester, have thin blonde medium-length hair. The bottle is sleek, good snap lid. Due to the consistency of the conditioner, it can create a bit of a vacuum in the bottle, so you have to turn it upside down and shake it to get the product out without any issues. The consistency is thick and creamy, easy to apply. The scent is a bit unisex, doesn't smell sweet or floral, which I appreciate. I've been testing this for a while now, and I think it gives good volume. However, the hair feels a bit frizzy and not as shiny and soft as I would like. It should be added that one of my everyday conditioners has been Björn Axén the signature volume, which I think is much better than this, as well as their silver series, so I really like the brand! Totally okay
Just like the rest of the products in this volume series, it has a very strong scent that you can smell in your hair for several days, yes until you wash your hair again, I would say. And it would have been nice if you liked the scent, but unfortunately, I don't, it smells a lot like a men's perfume, and that's not something I want to smell in my hair. So far, it's not a dealbreaker, but we'll see if I get tired of the scent going forward 😅 Lovely thick consistency of this conditioner that is easy to distribute in the hair. It also does a nice job of detangling the hair, and it becomes easy to brush through. Unfortunately, I don't think it provides enough moisture for my hair, especially not when I've also used the shampoo in the same series. If I use another mask to get more moisture, I find that I instead don't get the same volume in my hair as when I only use the shampoo and conditioner. For volume, I really think I get that with these products, and my thin and lifeless hair could really use it 😅 So I would gladly continue using this, but I will alternate with another conditioner now and then to get a bit more nourishing properties 😄 #Lykoinflutester #Björnaxen94 views
