    Not So Much...

    As #lykoinflutester, I was tasked with testing a line of volumizing products from Björn Axén, of which this conditioner was a part. I've already written about the shampoo and volumizing spray, and I had to skip the blow dry cream since I don't own a hair dryer. I've been using the shampoo and conditioner together for several weeks now, often along with the volumizing spray. This is described as a thin conditioner that should provide volume without weighing down. I quietly wonder why one would want a conditioner to be thin? Unfortunately, I don't think it provides much of a conditioning effect at all; my hair is tangled and hard to detangle afterward. Together with the shampoo, I've found that my hair feels quite airy after washing, but unfortunately also quite dry. I've cheated a bit at times and added another conditioner because otherwise, my hair gets way too tangled, as the conditioner itself feels very light, and it seems like the little effect it provides gets washed out when rinsing the hair. I think the scent is quite nice, unisex-like, and it lingers in the hair for several days after washing. I like it, but if you're sensitive to scents, this is probably not for you. I like Björn Axén as a brand; I've tried several products that I've appreciated from them. And I can understand the point of this volumizing conditioner, that they've made it light so it doesn't weigh down. It also contains moisturizing ingredients that I was curious about. Unfortunately, I think it's way too light, and I don't feel much of the moisture that it's said to add to the hair. I give it two stars because I like that my hair feels clean and airy after use, but the conditioner is, in my opinion, way too weak. #lykoinflutester #björnaxen #balsam

    Perfect for volume!

    My first impression of this product (besides the fantastic unisex scent I love) was that the formula was very thin for a conditioner and I thought it wouldn’t moisturize my hair at all. I thought it must be completely silicone-free because it barely glides on the hair, I felt like a lot of conditioner was needed to cover all the hair strands. But after the next use, I used the trick of carefully brushing out my hair with a wetbrush, and it really did wonders! My hair felt properly coated with a smaller dollop. I was surprised that the instruction on a volumizing conditioner says to massage from the scalp to the lengths, but said and done! My hair got proper volume despite that, and no other products were needed. This is not a deep moisturizing conditioner, but if you’re looking for volume and a scent that really lasts, then this is just right! 🙌 #Björnaxen #lykoinflutester

    Pretty okay

    As a Lyko influencer, I had the honor of testing this conditioner. It's a pretty okay conditioner. No wow effect. It feels like any other conditioner. The hair becomes soft and a bit shiny afterwards. The conditioner is easy to handle and easy to get into the hair. So no wow product, but still a good conditioner.     Not a favorite

    I was quite disappointed with this conditioner. It made my hair feel dry and rough after use, which made it hard to manage. I tested the whole line together and I had to add something moisturizing to be able to comb my hair. However, I must say that the scent was really nice – almost like perfume. I probably won't buy this product again since it didn't suit my hair very well. #lykoinflutester #björnaxen

    Named Volume Boost!

    As #influtester, I had the honor of trying Björn Axen's volume series, and below is my honest review. 👁️ First Impression The bottle is like everything else from Björn Axen, sleek and looks really nice on the shower shelf ✨ The snap lid is also a big plus. I've seen that some find it hard to get the product out, but a simple tip is to store it upside down, problem solved! The consistency is thick and creamy, which makes it easy to distribute in the hair. However, a fairly generous amount is needed to really cover the lengths properly. 🫧 Effect & Result The scent is a real favorite, perfect for those who like hair products that actually smell and where the scent lingers after washing. When it comes to moisture, the conditioner doesn't feel super nourishing, but as a volume product, it's understandable. The hair may feel a bit dry and coarse right after, but it really delivers on volume! With a combination of a hairdryer and light brushing, you get fantastic fullness without the hair feeling frizzy. ✨ Summary A conditioner that suits you if you prioritize volume over deep moisture. The scent and airy feel make up for it, and with the right styling, you get a really nice, full result.     Missing the shine

    I have now tested Björn Axén Volumizing Balm for a few weeks and this is my honest review. I have Scandinavian, fine hair that gets highlighted regularly at the salon. It easily becomes dry in the lengths and tangles quickly, so I am quite picky when it comes to balm. I need something that really moisturizes, detangles properly, and leaves the hair soft - and there I unfortunately feel that this balm doesn't quite make the cut. 🫧 The consistency is light and feels fresh in the hair, and it doesn't weigh it down - which is definitely a plus if you want more volume. But that deep softness and smooth feeling that I want after the shower is a bit lacking for me. I also don't get that really super shiny, silky finish that some more nourishing balms can provide right away. 🫧 The scent is wonderful and the product feels luxurious, but on my hair, I need to supplement with either a mask or a leave-in to get enough moisture and shine. For those of you who prioritize volume, a light product without too much shine is definitely worth trying. But if you want maximum shine and deep hydration right after the shower, then this is not the right balm. ✨ #lykoinflutester #björnaxen

    Pretty okay product

    I've been testing this conditioner with the corresponding shampoo for a good while now, and I think the product is average🫧 My hair is typically Scandinavian, quite thin, but many hair strands. I was hoping that this product would give my hair more volume, so it would look thicker. Unfortunately, I didn't experience that it did this. Even though I don't think the product gives volume, it does make the hair soft and smells really good! But if you're looking for a product that gives volume, this is probably not the best option.     Unfortunately not for me

    I had the honor of testing products from Björn Axén. Their Volume conditioner is good. Gives volume without needing to put in effort and makes the hair very soft. However, I have a tendency to get oily scalp and dandruff. Unfortunately, the dandruff returned after I used both the shampoo and conditioner for a while, and my hair got oily faster. It's a shame because I loved the scent and how much volume I got from them. I recommend both the conditioner and shampoo to people who want volume but do not have scalp issues ❤️ #Lykoinflutester #björnaxen

    Fresh and clean

    Fits my hair perfectly. The conditioner (and the corresponding shampoo) is for the slightly oilier hair types, if you have dry hair, you shouldn't buy these. My hair gets easily greasy/dirty which means I need to wash it quite often, but since I started using the volume series, I don't need to. A plus is also that they smell incredibly good.

    Dry conditioner?

    I bought this conditioner along with the shampoo but was quickly disappointed. The shampoo felt dry and didn't lather when massaged between my hands or in my hair. And then the conditioner felt dry and made my hair feel stringy and tangled😔 Maybe it just wasn't right for my hair, but I personally wouldn't recommend this, even though they have other good products. #lykoreview

      Hey Elli! 🥰 It seems like you've found other good products from the brand, but it's a bummer that these didn't quite work out for you ❤ It could be, as you're suggesting, that this isn't quite right for your hair. I see that our stylist has written in a post down below that these conditioners are designed to be very light and not weigh the hair down, which can sometimes make the hair feel less soft or a bit tangled, especially if you have hair that is already dry or a bit sensitive. Maybe that’s the reason your hair doesn’t feel as expected. I hope you have something else that suits your hair better; otherwise, our stylists are happy to help you find the right one 🥰

    What even is this product? I've never had such tangled hair as after this conditioner. It's like steel wool???? If the hair is soft and nice beforehand, it becomes ruined the moment I put it in my hair!! This can't be okay to sell as a conditioner? Such a damn waste of money
