Cleans thoroughly and gives shine ✨ but can feel a bit strong for sensitive scalp
I’ve had the honor of testing the entire Bonding series from Waterclouds for a while now, and the shampoo is probably the product I’ve liked the most. It smells fresh of citrus, a bit like lemon balm 🍋 and gives a really good lather right from the first wash. I always wash twice, and afterwards my hair feels thoroughly clean and actually a bit stronger than usual, as if it has more hold. My hair also looks shinier, which I really appreciate since my hair easily loses its shine. I have quite a sensitive scalp and experienced a little irritation right at the hairline, but not so much that I felt I needed to stop using it. I have thick hair with fine strands, naturally wavy and use heat almost every day, so my hair is quite exposed. The shampoo works really well in my routine. Of all the products in the series, the shower products are definitely the ones that perform best for me (shampoo, conditioner, and mask). Not my favorite
In the last month, I've been so lucky to test several products from the Waterclouds series, including this shampoo 💕 It's important to highlight that I have TYPICAL Scandinavian hair, we're talking thin, damaged, the ends are splitting and I'm experiencing that my hair doesn't absorb moisture 😅 The consistency of this shampoo is runny and glittery ✨ the scent is clean and citrusy. I've had to fight with this because it turned me into a frizzy mess, and I had to work with the hairbrush.. which wears my hair out even more 🥲 Result? The runny consistency and citrus scent are fresh, but for thin and damaged hair, it might not provide enough moisture and softening, and therefore the hair can become frizzy and difficult to comb. The dryness and skin reactions you experienced suggest that the formula might be a bit too "active" for a sensitive scalp and split ends. #lykotester #waterclouds I have tested the Waterclouds bonding series, Shampoo, Conditioner, Bonding hair mask, and Serum for 4 weeks. -Super nice with the ”3D logo” on the bottle -The shampoo looks almost a little ”chemical” and is very shiny -Smells good -Plastic packaging I have newly bleached hair, thin but many hair strands, wash my hair 2-3 times a week, and blow-dry it every time with heat protection. The shampoo felt like any other shampoo, nothing special stood out, but it did not live up to expectations. I see no difference in shine and have gotten very tangled hair since I started using the shampoo. Test Pilot
I received the Test Pilot product from the Bonding series; shampoo, conditioner, mask, and serum. I immediately fell in love with the scent of the products. Fresh and clean, a bit like summer rain, not chemical. I am sensitive to fragrances, but this scent was really pleasant. The products have a very concentrated consistency, a small amount goes a long way. Still, a light consistency. For example, with conditioners, I usually have to be careful, my hair looks greasy after use no matter how little I use and how well I rinse it out. This product rinses out well but still gives a treated result. The serum helped with the combability of my hair and the static, which is common for me, especially in the fall and winter. My hair is prone to tangling due to its Nordic type (thin, delicate, flexible). And occasional coloring has also damaged the structure, making it brittle. I am sensitive to fragrances, and my skin also reacts sensitively. These products did not cause me any symptoms. I have been using the products for about a month, so I can't say for sure about permanent changes yet, but based on this, I am satisfied with the products. My hair does not tangle in the same way, which has resulted in fewer split ends. Combability has improved, and my hair does not break as easily. The shampoo also removes other hair styling products well and leaves a clean feeling on the scalp. My hair is not squeaky clean, but clean and feels moisturized, without a greasy feeling. The hair mask is a lovely addition, especially for a sauna night. Gentle cleanse with bonding benefits
I’ve been selected to test the Waterclouds Bonding series, and I was excited to see how it compares to other bond-repair products I’ve tried, like K18. The shampoo has a fresh citrus scent – not usually my go-to, but it didn’t linger too long, so it didn’t bother me. I double cleanse, and this shampoo left my scalp feeling clean without stripping my curls. It foams nicely and rinses out easily. My hair felt refreshed and soft, with no dryness or tightness. The first impression was that it feels luxurious right when you open the bottle, despite the cheap price! After a few weeks of use, I find that the shampoo cleanses the hair very gently without drying it out. My hair is thin, flat, and fine – and I was pleasantly surprised that it doesn't weigh the hair down at all. Tested the Bonding Series
I had the great honor of testing the Bonding Series with shampoo, conditioner, mask, and serum and want to leave a review ✨ 🫙 The first impression of the packaging was a bit meh, I think they are a bit dull to be honest. Luckily, there is a silver line in the middle of it all that brightens it up. 🌸 However, I was pleasantly surprised by the scent, which is fresh and nice. I am not sensitive to scents and don’t think they smell strong, rather quite mild. 🌟 So how was it to use the series? I have used shampoo, conditioner, mask, and serum every time I washed my hair, about 2 times/week, and I can possibly notice that my hair has become a bit softer and more manageable. However, the serum feels too weak and thin for my hair, but maybe it works on thinner hair? Gives soft and hydrated hair
I have been a test pilot for Waterclouds' new Bonding series for four weeks – and the shampoo quickly became one of my favorites! The bottle is sleek and easy to use. I always wash my hair twice, and already at the first wash, the shampoo lathers abundantly. My hair often feels rough before conditioner, but what I really like about this shampoo is that my hair feels soft and hydrated already after rinsing. The only thing I've had a bit of trouble with in the entire series is the scent. It's fresh and unisex, but for me, it's a bit too strong and intense. My hair is fine and thin, with dry ends but gets oily easily. It's untreated but exposed to heat styling, which has worn it down a bit. Fantastic for hair but not for skin
The shampoo and conditioner were at a gym I visited, and I have tried them a couple of times. My hair is uncolored, blonde, and typically Scandinavian with fine hair strands. My hair really loved the shampoo, it felt strong, fresh, and was easy to detangle after the shower. Unfortunately, I have gotten several inflamed pimples on my neck, where I usually never get pimples, as well as a few on my forehead. It feels really unfortunate, because the shampoo and conditioner were otherwise really good. UPDATE: I tried the shampoo again because it really works so well for my hair.
